My Star Wars page a day desk block gives me a fact day. If it has told me that a parsec is a unit of time; and Han won the Falcon in a game of sarbacc not sabacc, should I be as frustrated as I am? Haven't they heard of fact checking? Should I be concerned of how many kids / younglings are being led down the dark side with these falsehoods? How many more errors will there be in the next nine months?

Reminds me of a story I heard about these kids who were making fun of another kid who was adopted. The adopted kid had the best response: "Well, at least my parents CHOSE me. Yours are stuck with you!"

I haven't read the EU since before Disney decided to take a massive dump on the old continuity and declare that all the many EU materials we spent 30 years and countless dollars and time on didn't matter anymore. How's the new EU?

Actually, I read Lost Stars and it was decent.
Aftermath was "ok" but had some annoying stuff going on.
That's about all I got through.
Still waiting on that Shadows of the Empire movie!

Was there ever a reason given why they decided to just unceremoniously dump the old continuity, instead of giving us a "Crisis on Infinite Earths"-like reboot?

Hey T can't seem to be able to post pics from my phone on the forums, apparently the file size is always too large, any remedy on your end so I don't have to resize them on a PC?

Long ago, we were not careful about things like file sizes and the boards grew to stupid lengths. Now we're sticking with the defaults as they're defaults for a reason: they work. We can't let the boards grow endlessly and take up gigs and gigs of space because someone has a cool image of BB8 that they think is cool. It's a discussion forum, not an image repository. So talk and discuss.
Or make smaller pics.
