Very sad news of the passing of the actor Peter Mayhew who played Chewbacca on 30.04 at his home with his family around him. I had the pleasure of meeting twice. He was nice.We will miss the way he could give so much expression with his eyes and mannerisms while wearing a mask. and all that fur. Peter

I was stunned the entire day yesterday...

Definitely a big loss.

Pun intended along with serious sentiment. I've only ever heard lovely things about him from fans. He'll always be Chewbacca to me.

Rutger Hauer has assumed room temperature. In fact, he passed on the 19th, but the news only came to my attention this morning.

R.I.P., Max von Sydow.

We have lost the man with a big heart in the suit David Prowse. His movements gave Darth Vader his presence. Met him once and he was a lovely man. RIP David.

And only 18 days later we have lost Jeremy Bulloch. He was 75.

They are both gone in 2020.
