Both Simus and Ludo Kreesh were Sith, aswell as a Sith Warlord Horak-mul, Dor Gal-ram a Sith loyal to Ludo and Shar Dakhan a Sith loyal to Naga

The Sith homeworld was Korriban, then they moved to Ziost after the death of Adas, their king, who defeated the Rakata.

Over the ages they degenerated into primitive savages on Ziost, until the exiled dark Jedi came upon them after the hundred year darkness. Thereafter they interbred with the dark Jedi, until the Jedi retaliated and wiped out much of the Sith species as an act of genocide against them. Somehow, some Massassi (the warrior caste of the Sith species) ended up on Yavin IV, to be found and enslaved by Exar Kun.

Originally, the Sith were a simple, yet savage species of red-skinned and bony humanoids strong in the Dark Side that originated on the planet Korriban in the Horuset System. Thier culture began to develop sometime before 100,000 BBY. However, it was not until around 28,000 BBY that the Sith were united as a species for the first time. A Sith warlord named Adas united the Sith species after a bloody conflict and violent warfare. Sometime during Adas' 300 year long reign, the dominant power in the Galaxy, the Rakatan Infinite Empire, visited Korriban. The Rakatans attempted to subjugate the Sith, but Adas lead his people to victory over the invaders, but at the cost of his own life. After this, the infighting natural to the Sith species forced the most of the Sith to flee to the nearby planet of Ziost. Sometime around 7000 BBY, the Sith, under Dark Lord Dathka Graush, were once again active on Korriban, with Graush establishing a dynasty that ruled over two-thirds of the planet. Dathka Graush had a tomb biult in Korribans Valley of Golg, and was later entombed there. Also around 7000 BBY, on the other side of the galaxy, the Jedi Order was experiencing a Schism that would become known as the Hundred Year Darkness. A group of Jedi Knights, among them Ajunta Pall, discovered techniques in the Force that could warp life itself. They were caught by thier Jedi Masters, who disagreed with them, and soon Jedi fought Jedi, for a Hundred Years. The Jedi who followed these 'Dark Side' powers were exiled, taking up the mantle of Dark Jedi Lords. In around 6900 BBY, the final battle of the conflict was fought on the planet Corbos, and it saw the defeated Dark Jedi Lords exiled from the known galaxy. The remaining Dark Jedi, among them Ajunta Pall, exited hyperspace over the planet Ziost, where they awed the Sith species with thier stregnth in the Dark Side. Subjugating the Sith species, they began to form an Empire, starting with Korriban. The Empire would be governed by a council of Sith Lords, headed by the strongest Sith Lord, who would take up the mantle of Dark Lord of the Sith. Ajunta Pall was one of the very first Dark Lords. Over the millennia, the Sith Empire continued to expand, eventually numbering hundreds of planets. Also over the millennia, the Dark Jedi and their descendants interbred with the Sith, and the two peoples became one. In around 5150 BBY, a half-breed Sith Lord named Marka Ragnos came into prominence in a series of short, brutal campaigns against his enemies. Challenging fellow ith Lord Simus to mortal combat after the death of the reigning Dark Lord, Ragnos decapitated Simus and would rule the Sith Empire for over the next century. When he died of unknown means in around 5000 BBY, two of the most powerful Sith Lords, Naga Sadow and Ludo Kressh fought a duel at Ragnos' funeral in the prescence of at least 18 other Sith Lords. Niether side won, as Ragnos' spirit stopped the duel, but a ship containing Hyperspace explorers from the Republic arrived in Sith space, and were manipulated by Sadow,(as well as the rest of the Sith Council) and Sadow was able to ascend to the rank of Dark Lord, though Ludo Kressh and a few Sith Lords broke away from him. Launching a massive invasion of Republic space, Sadow nearly succeeded in conquering the Republic, but through a series of betrayals and defeats, The Republic drove Sadow back to the Sith Empire. There Ludo Kressh, now Dark Lord of the Sith, attacked Sadows fleet. Sadow destroyed Kressh' flagship, but then the Reublic Fleet arrived in system with the Jedi Knights to finish the job. Sacrificing all but one of his ships in order to escape, Sadow and his lone ship and its Massassi Warrior crew hid on the 4th moon of the Yavin System. The Republic and the Jedi purged the Sith Empires worlds of the Sith Empire, which by 4'990 BBY was no more. in 4400 BBY, a fallen Jedi named Freedon Nadd visited the empty worlds of the Empire, and awakened Sadow on Yavin 4. Killing the Dark Lord, he subjugated the planet Onderon, leaving the Massassi (now a degenerate race of savages due to Sith Alchemical experiments of Sadow's) on Yavin. Freedon Nadd's spirit later corrupted Jedi Knight Exar Kun to the Dark Side, but Kun destroyed Nadd's spirit and became the new Dark Lord. Eventually though, Kun was betrayed by is apprentice, and in order to save his spirit from a Jedi cleansing of Yavin 4, he drained the life force of the entire Massassi race.

I can see the Republic and the Jedi exterminating the Sith spieces at the end of the Hyperspace War, plus or minus the Massassari. That makes sense, and it adds edge to the history to the Jedi. But did Lucasfilms accpet THAT?! The great and godly Jedi stepping to vendictive genocide? I need to know BTW, cause it's important to the ficlette I'm writing for the fan fiction forum.

But did the Sith interbreed because they are human too or because of Sith alchemy? I really hope Star Wars isn't going down the Star Trek Path of every speices can mate with every other because it's implied RACISM otherwise. Oh no! Racism, run! The media's here! The media's here! well, civil war between the Sith remnants also helped destroy the Sith. As for interspecies relationships in SW, it is entirely dependent on which two species are getting together. Most humanoid species can mate with humans, and there are cases of that, but many species are incompoatible.
