Default NOVEL: Star Wars: Catalyst (A Rogue One-novel) by James Luceno

A new novel to tie-in with Rogue One called Catalyst is to be written by James Luceno:

    Twitter: StarWarsBooks (Del Ray)

No release date yet, other than it'll be released in the fall of this years. I think it's absolutely fantastic news! Luceno is my favorite EU-author and in my opinion, he's able to catch the essence of Star Wars like few other authors can (Zahn comes close).

Anybody else pick this up? I'm about a third of the way through. Pretty enjoyable read so far!

I've missed that it's been released! Might pick it up as an e-book.

About 80% of the way through it now. There is....a lot of explaining in here. Don't get me wrong, it's a very enjoyable book, but it makes me worry that some information will be glossed over in Rogue One.

Just finished. Good book. Very interested to see what holds over into Rogue One.

And, at the very least, the book absolutely made me more excited for the movie.

When did this come out? Didn't realise it had been released.

Bought Catalyst as an ebook. I really like Luceno and I'm glad he wrote the novel (I hope it lives up to his usual standards).

EDIT: I'm two-thirds in and Luceno sure didn't disappoint! While there are a few things I don't like, they don't orignate from Luceno.

Downloaded this a few weeks back (I'm having to switch to e-books these days) and really enjoying it. LOVE the film and this is a good novelisation of it.
