Excellent! Superb mixing quality, and excellent adaptation. ANDREW, you finally made it into a released audio drama!

Short, but sweet. And I'm not just saying that because I was in it!

Very clear, very clever, well-mixed indeed- and some great voices! Well done!

Thanks for the comments, guys! I'm glad you've enjoyed it.

I think I found an outstanding cast, a real pleasure to work with, and I'd like to continue adapting the rest of the comics and put them to further use. However, I'd rather not draw the ire of the flannelled one or Dark Horse by basically providing free access to a popular trade paperback.

I don't know, we'll have to see what the future holds. I have considered writing an account of Gryph and Zayne's first meeting, which I may yet do. As for the rest of KOTOR, well...what do you all think? Is it better to be safe than sorry or am I being too cautious?

I dunno. Seems like there are a lot of fan fiction audio dramas that use Lucas' universe and John Williams' score music without a second thought. I suppose this is different, since you are taking direct lines and characters from an existing book, but it depends on copyright law of course. I know "fair use" is allowed, for example, you can do a parody of an existing work. I'm not sure where a radio adapation falls, but my guess is that they won't care as long as you're not trying to sell it. Still, IANAL. It's probably better to write to the publisher and explain what you are trying to do. Chances are, they may welcome it because it would give the comic more exposure (for example, I had never heard of the comic until I read your script).

It might be less of a problem if you do your own story based on the characters in the comic book, however.

Anyway, my $0.02 worth. If you decide against continuing with this project, I will be sad, but I want to say "Thanks!" for making it happen!

You'll be happy and sad to know I've decided on my next project, but it's not KOTOR. It's a rather Noir-ish little three parter called 'the Other Side.' It's described as 'Jedi Detective story' and takes place shortly before the Legacy of the Force series. Look for the casting call for that soon.

This doesn't mean the end for Zayne, Lucien, Gryph and the crew, however. As my third project, I'm thinking of chronicling the first meeting between Zayne and the infamous 'Gryph.' Thus, stay tuned for details on that. I may be needing your Lucien again, Doug, but I'd be glad to have you try out for 'the Other Side' as well.
