Re: "The Mandalorian" Live-Action Series (2019)

Episode 5 was directed by Filoni, and it was a nostalgia overload! JJ must’ve gotten Filoni’s ear.
I did find the Mando’s knowledge of Tusken’s interesting.

Re: "The Mandalorian" Live-Action Series (2019)

Episode 4 had MANY similarities to TCW S2E17 Bounty Hunters. There’s even a ship that might be the same model as the Razorcrest.
I think Filoni is directing episode 5, I’m looking forward to that!

To each their own, I think baby Yoda is adorable and is very impressive looking compared to SE Jabba and Episode I puppet Yoda.
Does anyone know the name of the planet the Mando went to to find baby Yoda?

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I've seen the trailer. It didn't didn't expand too much on what we already seen. Already know we were going to Endor. Except it isn't Endor. Well, it's one of Endor's moons (I hope so at least), but it's not the jungle moon from ROTJ. The Official Site has revealed in a news item on the updated Sta...

Re: "The Mandalorian" Live-Action Series (2019)

First two episodes have totally eclipsed anything the ST has shown so far! It feels like the Star Wars I grew up loving, the sounds, locales and characters feel right. This is the Star Wars we were expecting when the ST was announced! If they don’t merchandise the crap outta the 50 year old younglin...

Re: Star Wars Episode IX (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

If you’ve watched Rebels you know Grand Admiral Thrawn is Cannon AND he’s more likely alive than Palpatine should be. My question is simple, would you rather have Palpatine as the puppet-master of the ST or Thrawn? I personally think using Thrawn would be a much better choice than Palpatine. It pres...

Re: Benioff and Weiss to Create Series of Star Wars Movies

It's a possibility, but we may now have Feige directing that project. And if The Mandalorian does as well as I think it will we could see the triumvirate of F's! Feige, Filoni and Favareu!
3 F's is about all I have left to give for this franchise.....

The second trailer is looking good, the new footage reiterates that this series will fit well in the franchise and hopefully help flesh out some characters from the ST

This is true, I’m glad Ewan is back and I hope this series is good!

Re: The Obi-Wan Kenobi series

I know when Kenobi takes place chronologically, I just think it would detract from the final show down between Maul and Kenobi in Rebels if they run into each other in this series much like how bringing back Palpatine in TRoS will detract from Anakin’s redemption in RotJ.

Plus I’m fully invested in the MCU so there’s that as well.
