Re: Solo: A Star Wars Story (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

We are just under 5 months until the release date of Solo and nothing...I’m seeing a bunch of suggested video’s on my YT channel home page saying Disney is bracing for a BO flop.

Re: Spoilers: So what is the situation in the galaxy?

I feel like that is kind of a huge deal and it was explained and moved past in a manner of like 10 seconds. Kind of crappy story telling there. Also, to the OP's question....I'm in the same boat. I had this discussion today with a friend of mine who saw TLJ on opening night with me. We both think t...

Re: Playstation and the Playstation network

Hey MArble Man, I'd enjoy getting a battle lounge going with you and a few other friends I play with regularly. I never see you on. Are you in EU or US? I forgot. I usually can't get on before 10 PM EST / 0200 Zulu. Sorry to just get back to you, SS - I'm in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone. Had a series...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I have many questions but the one that I keep coming back to is if Snoke was the one that connected Rey and Kylo so they could communicate with each other prior to the throne room scene....which he admits he was. Who connected them together at the end when Rey is moving the rocks so the resistance c...

Re: Last Movie Watched

Hopefully gonna see Thor Ragnarock tonight with my son. The last movie I saw in the theaters was Blade Runner 2049, I love the original and felt as a niche/ cult classic it was a complete package. I walked out of the theater absolutely impressed and will absolutely be getting BL2049 on Blu ray! It's...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Luke is human, not super human. He fails alot which makes him pretty relatable, imo. Speak for yourself bud lol Some want Luke to being pulling down star destroyers with the force and whipping up galaxay tornadoes to kill all the boogie men in space. I see what you did there.... well according to a...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Ok last night Hera pulled a similar move in her X wing on SWR...basically an engine stall neutral drop in space. All I’m seeing is a lot of people who are FAR more skilled pilots than Luke. I can see why he’s become a hermit! He’s drowning in self doubt! He couldnt keep an astromech droid from escap...

Re: Rian Johnson will create a new Star Wars Trilogy

As writer-director of The Last Jedi, Johnson conceived and realized a powerful film of which Lucasfilm and Disney are immensely proud. In shepherding this new trilogy, which is separate from the episodic Skywalker saga, Johnson will introduce new characters from a corner of the galaxy that Star War...

Re: Rian Johnson will create a new Star Wars Trilogy

I also saw this news yesterday! Very excited about this news. I won’t lie I was saddened to hear Rian wasn’t directing IX because of all the positivity coming from Lucasfilm during and after wrapping the production of TLJ. Now we don’t know how TLJ will actually be for a little over a month (that’s ...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I like to believe Kylo is too conflicted about everything to go full dark side. I don't think he's strong enough to kill Leia, or to allow her to be killed, and her death will push him back to the light side. I would even hypothesize that Snoke orders Kylo to kill Leia, Kylo refuses, Snoke does it ...

Re: Star Wars Rebels

Season 4 kicked off here in the States yesterday, I enjoyed it. Gonna try and stay as spoiler free as possible.... I found Ezra’s antics just slightly less annoying than Jar Jar. The sexual tension between Kanan and Hera is over 9000!!! Gar Saxon’s brother said Palpatine....I don’t think the Emperor...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

I’d be surprised if this trilogy remains so black and white, Kylo is bad , Rey is good. I think it’s clear Kylo is struggling with his life choices at this point. Now if Luke refuses to train Rey that will be the second time she’s been abandoned in her life....I think that will leave scars no one ca...

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

Initial feelings after 2 views so far porgs are the new Ewoks, the trailer is cleverly spliced to make it look like Rey is talking to Kylo at the end. Luke is scared of Rey??? They should've held onto that decision until after TLJ released. If VIII gets high positive feedback, then give it to Rian Johnson.

Re: Han Solo: A Star Wars Story (SPOILERS ALLOWED)

While I think it's good that Ron Howard is onboard, I think this movie is a bad idea. I don't want to see a 'young Han Solo' movie. There's a whole universe to explore, why so afraid of stepping out of familiar grounds a little? Anyway, according to The Hollywood Reporter , Lucasfilm isn't very hap...

The dark jedi concept is silly. No thanks.
I agree just dropping this character in and saying he's a "dark Jedi" would confuse the casual viewer, but if it does turn out that he's Ezra....which isn't ruled out yet, that would be a great "bridge" from pre OT to ST.
Pun intended.

Anyone else think the shot of Phasma and the troopers walking through the debris is after the hangar explosion with Poe and BB-8?
