Anakin Vs Vader

Who was better in the movies vader or anakin, present saber skills, force skills ect. Thoughts please.

As Vader, he was better. As Anakin, he was too reckless.

I guess i should word that differently umm, how did you like better in start wars anakin or darth vader as charaters?

Vader is by far a cooler character. However, because of the mask, he's hard to relate to. So, I guess from a relational point of view, Anakin is a better character because you can more easily see what's going on with him.

I think Anakin was better ... I can identify with him much of the time. Vader was little more than a machine with the weakling spirit of Anakin trapped inside.

Anakin was better. Anakin was in the PT and the end of ROTJ. That is how it goes. Vader died when Luke began to suffer.

I have always liked Vader. I was dissapointed by 'Anakin'

There both good characters. They are simply two shades of the same character. Vader is more interesting because of his hunt for Luke and the Rebel Alliance. Anakin acts too much like a kid to be better but his emotions make him a interesting character like Vader.
