I was called Ronnie Kodak or Kodak for many years because when I was 16, 17, and 18 I always had my camera with me, always taking pictures of my friends and the things we did. When I was 20 or 21 and going to college for professional photography, I told my class friend Scott about my old nickname, and before long all of our friends always called me Kodak, many of the people we hung out with and partied with. I used to go to college parties and guys I had partied with and took pics of were saying, yo Kodak, have a beer with us! Name recognition is a plus and I never had to buy much beer when I was in college!

But aside from, Scott, no one in our class called me Kodak. They all called me Borneo, which was a nickname given to me by one of our teachers because with my beard and long hair she said I looked like a wildman from the jungle of Borneo.

After college Scott got me a job on a cruise ship for 6 months as one of the photographers, and wouldn't you know it, everybody on the ship called me Kodak and my official name tag said Ronnie Kodak. Scott lives in Georgia now but whenever we talk he still calls me Kodak.

A nickname I had when I was 15 from one guy was Prego, which is vaguely similar to my actual last name. Recently one of my co-worker/friends has begun calling me Prego for the same reason.

On GS, I have been called Tov, Tovey (affectionately by women and close friends), Tovorosity (my own given choice, and my AIM name), Tovorovor, TovoRovoT, TovoT, Tovorous, Tovoranious, Tovalicious, Tovoricious, Tovorisinoscopy, Tovorandoverandover, Tovoriscipus, Tovoroane, and many more variations.

Often on Interstate 95 I've been affectionaly called F*** You Buddy! And in bed I've been called a god. I don't know why, I must be good at making the Earth shake. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

When I was in the army i was called Goody by a lot of people because my last name is Goodwin. I was called Five short for FiveFlavors for a while by old friends because it was my CB handle. Red has been an occasional one because i have red hair, but that was only people who didn't know me well, never really considered it a nickname.

LOL, in high school i worked at a grocery store and one of the mangers could never remember my name. He started calling me Lloyd because he said it is something he could remember. Oh I live in Australia, but people are used to seeing my name and saying, (If you can understand ANY of my phonetic language) Sairah - Sair as in air, but my name is Sarah, Sar as in Car...it's just that the pronounciation Sairah is usually spelt Sarah (my spelling) and MY pronounciation um...Sar(car)ah is spelt Sara...I hope you understood that...
