what's the deal with the whole "no-carb diet" thing?

Since carbs are the most chemically complex of all the energy nutrients (carbs, proteins, and fats), they tend to get reorganized into something much simpler: fat. Since a lot of fat can be made from one complex sugar, it gets stored up. The idea is to limit (or completely cut yourself off of if you're crazy) your intake of carbs and let the stored up fat get used. At least that's my understanding of it.

4. team b exits the vent in glorious fashion, shooting anything that moves
5. team a drops a flash grenade into the hosties room, and drops in, clearing the room
6. team b clears the rest of the building and covers for team a

Mackinaw Island, Michigan. Nothing to do there except bike around the perimeter of the island, eat fudge, and various other activities. It's a bit expensive, but it's really quiet . . . except for periodic cannon firings from the old fort.

Yes, I do . . . wait a minute. *clears throat* H'okay, Friday the 22nd, my brother and I drive around trying to find a not-so-crowded bar. En route, the clock goes to 12 AM, making me legally 21. We find a place and start having a few rounds. I downed three drinks (Screwdriver, Miller Light, and Kamakaze in that order) in 45 minutes, not a wise idea for a guy of my body type. By then, I had a fully developed buzz going and we cut me off for the night (we weren't gonna stay until closing time anyway). I was laughing at anything and everything. Tell me your grandma died, I'd laugh. I wasn't falling over drunk, but I was not at all fit for doing much of anything. So we went home, downed a tall glass of water, and went to bed. I slept so well that night. The next day, at around 8, we hit the closest casino. Took us an hour for our party to lose a combined $80, but it was fun nonetheless.

Probably "South Park." Sure, it's raunchy, offensive, and is guaranteed to make you say "Oh my God!" by the end of the episode, but it's also highly satirical and downright hilarious. Once one gets by the dirty exterior, one will find a beautiful pearl of comedic genius.

Yes, I do. I think he's probably one of the best TRUE storytelling directors out there. People like him because of how he tells the story, not because he's got his named tied down to a certain few movies (or maybe there's a little of that. Nowadays, you can't escape your previous work, but that's a whole different rant). Sure, his subject material is a little . . . intense, but he does a damn good job at telling those stories because even seedy people have something to say. Jules' monologue at Pulp Fiction makes me nod in agreement every time.
