Death of Assajji Ventress?

Can someone please help me?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I am trying to figure out when and how Assajji Ventress died. Does any body know where I can find the story of it?
Was it a book or comic or something? I read all the clone war novels except the battle medstar ones and I don't remember reading about her death. I also read it was supposed to happen in the new clone wars cartoons, but that wasn't true.

The story line is in the comic Star Wars Republic and Star Wars Obsession.....The story where Anakin gets the scar from her and where Anakin "kills" her is issue 71 and if she lived will be shown in Star Wars Obsession's last issue #5 next month.

Nope. Anakin believed he had killed her on Yavin IV, but she somehow survived. She later showed up in the Republic comic series, where the previous incident on Yavin IV was referenced, and again fought Anakin. As before, Anakin believed her dead, as did most everyone else. However, Obi-Wan Kenobi still believed her to be alive and that's what the Obsession comic series is about.

Shortly before the end of the war, Obi-Wan and Anakin attempt but fail to capture Dooku's dark-side apprentice, Asajj Ventress, who remains at large.

Ah, let's have her live...maybe she could turn rogue and go on her own missions...perhaps she learns that she's only being used by Sidious and Dooku, and decides to go her own way, or something.

seeing her on her own might be kind of cool, but I doubt she'd discover she's being used. In fact, I think she already know she's being used. In Y:DR she gives Dooku a mini-speech about how expendable he is to Sidious. It's my belief that she knows she, too, is expendable, but she wants to be in Dooku's company long enough to become his apprentice so that she can learn the way of the Sith. Afterwards, I'm sure she'd attempt to kill Dooku and set herself up as the new Sith Lord.

I thought that they had said that with her and Durge, one would live and be redeemed nd one would die. Saw that on the Obsession speculation thread I think. Means she might be around for a good long time. (HA SHE IS THE UNSEEN QUEEN! I know shes not, but that would be cool)

Redeemed in what way? You mean cross over to the light? Oi, that'd be a big disappointment. not necessarily that she'd become good, but that she'd become good only to be killed by Vader.

Of course, in the Legacy of the Force books, it is plausable, since they brought back our pasty top knot assassin, that she can still be around...(who are the other sith other than Lumiya? anyone??)

We assume Darth Krayt is one of the other Sith, as the Legacy comic series has him narrating at one point and he says he's been around since the YV War. That same comic books series has not made any indication that any other Sith present within it are old enough to have been around at that time. So, our count numbers 3: Kraty, Lumiya, and Jacen. THough I think it's safe to assume there are probably a few more.

I do not believe Asajj would be one of them. Though I've not read the primary sources concerning her disappearance (besides the non-death Anakin dealt her in that wretched cartoon series), what I have read indicates that at the end of her visible time, she really wanted solitude. She wanted nothing to do with the Clone War, the Jedi, or Dooku (the Sith). So, I imagine she's just living off the land somewhere. Just my opinion, though!
