Pretend you are the head of Lucasfilm marketing, money is no object.
After all, isn't this supposed to be a "payback" to the fans?

What type of event/guest/display would you like to see at Celebration III that isn't part of the currently announced programming for Celebration III?

All the major actors, and a StarWarz.com booth.

Cheaper tickets.

^ hyad to agree with that... Actors... from OT and PT, both!

That would make me really happy.

Thinking more outside the box... how about this time having a Jedi Starfighter that instead of being roped off and guarded, is actually available for you to climb into for a photo op. Especially if it just happened to be a true prop from the movies.

Wouldn't that be cool to sit in the same prop starfighter as Ewan McGregor!?!

Of course there would have to be a staff to monitor the activity, but it would more than pay for itself with the two dollar fee charged for each guest pilot.

What about a replica of the Mos Eisley cantina at the "Celebration at Celebration" party. Complete with a legitimate bar.

Be creative...

Guests? What about George? Sure it would be a madhouse, but I'm sure it could be fun even for Mr. Lucas and his ten armed security guards. (All the while Rick McCallum could walk around like he did for the past two celebrations without an escort and only be noticed by about 15% of the attendees.) Rick and I crossed paths at the Indy event at the east doorway and he actually was the one to hold the door open for me. He seems like a very cool and laid back guy.

I'd really enjoy if they had Genndy Tartakovsky as a guest for a Q&A and the viewing of CWMS.

Ideas?...

Don't count on that Horsey. Lucasfilm doesn't know the meaning of "free". Well, except for Free Comic Book Day.

Well, technically it wouldn't exactly be free after you spent $110.00 for your 4 day pass and $39.95 for the FC.

So I guess at ComicCon last year they had a giant robot from Sky Captain outside the convention hall. Who would like to see a huge Homing Spider Droid, AT-ST or something to that nature welcoming you to the event?

^ ^^ True...
Yes any kind of "life sized" vehicle be it inflatable or otherwise would be cool...

On a side note... Anyone interested in a "Custom Galactic Senate" badge you can wear at C3 to show your GS spirit should check out this post...

Is the X-wing from C1 going to be there? It's not full-sized, but it's still really cool! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/artoo.gif

Just considerring how much Star Wars junk I have throughout the entire house, garage, attic, and at the office... I think George owes me at least a beer in Indy.

I've likely coverred about a semester's worth of tuition for one of his kids to go to private school so a beer wouldn't be too much to ask. And not a simple Bud Light, I mean a real beer.

That's fantastic news Blizz! I'm glad you put the link there so I saw the OS page and the following caught my eye for those who missed out buying tickets before the sales closed:
Final details are being arranged, but Lucas has confirmed his plans to be in Indianapolis at some point during the four-day Celebration III, April 21 -- 24. Gen Con LLC, which is managing Celebration III in partnership with Lucasfilm, has reopened its advance ticket sales from now through 5:00 PM PST this Friday, April 8. If you haven't purchased a ticket yet, this is one way to guarantee your ability to attend the biggest Star Wars fan convention ever. Advance ticket sales already are well more than double those of advanced sales for Celebration II.
