The detail in the Star Destroyer is amazing. How long did it take to draw that picture?

there's a program called Gimp Shop that was just released, and it's free. it's a different program than photoshop, but they created a PS interface for it, so all the buttons and menus are the same

http://blog.yumdap.net/archives/20-GIMPshop-for-Windows.html

the links to the mirrors are in the middle of the page. i've never used it myself, so i don't know what's different in it

[attachmentid=10818] I made this with that GIMP device. It works pretty good.

I know it's not much, but hey I tried. I'll try to make it better when I can, unless someone else does a better job.

Hmm... I would be more impressed if these were actually the artist's original concept, rather than something they just fiddled around with.

Well, sorry to dissappoint you Greedo, but a lot of the work comming out of lucas liscencing is just that. All the images on posters, puzzles, and other various packagings are photomanipulations and designs. It takes a lot of talent and gusto to do something that is design oriented AND looks good.
Don't sell this kind of art short.
