Yes, episode 3 is upon us! what will you be wearing when you rock up to the cinema's!
For me, it's either gonna be a sith costume or an imperial guard

Well either TK http://ohio501st.com/members/TK2386_full.jpg
Or TB http://ohio501st.com/members/TB2386_full.jpg
Probably TB so I can sit down, and it might be more fitting due to some of the spoliers I've seen.

I will NOT wear anything with SW on it. That's far too geeky for my taste. I've never, and will never wear such clothes (I'm not saying that you guys are geeky, it's me having a problem wearing such things myself). However, like empire217, I'll have a big smile on my face.

No, I have no talent with a needle/sewing machine. My best friend made it for me. She, my wife and I went looking at different fabric stores and found the perfect material on clearance for $2 a yard, and it took about 7 yards to make, plus about 1/2 yard left over. So it ended up costing me about $15 total for that. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

I'll have a pic soon of what I was wearing.
Here is the most disgusting of all ironies.
May 19, 7:00AM; just before they opened the doors to let our showing enter the theatre, the Channel 5 news reporter and camera are the doors to interview one or two people at the front of the line. Do they pick someone wearing a Sith cloak (me?) style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif Do they pick ANYONE in costume? NO! Who do they pick? ^style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rofl.gif Something similar happened here, when a news reporter refered to SW fans as "trekies" style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/giveup.gif

Yea cool costume. I wasn't brave enough to go into a costume, although my friend brought my force fx saber and we played around with it while we were waiting.
If I could actually find a good looking costume I might've considered wearing something. Too expensive to make or buy a good one though.

Thank you, all. Mine actually only cost me a little over $40 to put together because I am the queen of all thrift stores and JoAnn Fabrics'coupons. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif

My cloak (picture on page 5 of this thread Quoted post) only cost me about $15. Perfect material on sale at Joann Fabrics for $2 a yard. Took about 7 yards with half a hard or so left over. A friend made it for me.
I'll eventually get the Jedi garb to go with it by shopping clearance at the fabric stores, I figure all in all, the entire costume (not counting boots) will come out to around $40-50. Getting authentic looking Jedi boots is by far, the most expensive part of the costume.

But when finished i'm sure it will be well worth it.
