Wow! My son loves to build SW LEGO and his jaw just dropped when I showed this to him.

I hope they will be displaying this at C3. When I attended the 1st "C", they had 2 LEGO employees there building a huge Naboo fighter for the 3 days of the event. We visited every day to watch the progress.

Yeah, this is an amzing piece of work. And it's huge! It'll probably put a large hole in my wallet when I get to buy it though....

Do you really think they will be selling it in that size? It seems much larger than typical sets.

Have you seen the size of the star destroyer set? It's a comparable size, so it wouldn't surprise me too much if they did go for something that big.

We won't be getting it though. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

I'm having enough trouble finding space for what we've got.

wow that so great i wonder how many pieces it take to make this style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bow.gif

Obi-Wan

It will actually be the largest Lego set ever with 3441 pieces. It measures 65 by 50 cm and comes with a miniature Star Destroyer. Still no price point though.

I wonder if they'll consider an add on set where you can construct the original DS?

I'm sure some die hard Lego SW fans will add to this set to make the DS I.

That Death Star looks awesome. Since it comes out in September, I may just be able to afford it by then if I save some money.

Since there are no other LEGO threads on this forum, I thought I would ask this here: are any of the prices known for the Episode III sets? In particular, I'm interested in the clone turbo tank and the ARC starfighter.

Did you see Suzanne's link in post #20 of this thread? I know the ARC fighter is listed. I think it contains info and prices for all the known EP3 sets at this time.

Thanks for pointing that out, yodafn. For some reason, I thought the link would just take me to the same info as the official site had posted.

It figures that my desired sets would be some of the most expensive. Of course, the sets I find cool tend to have higher piece counts, so there is a definite correlation there.
