Peyton - Golden Retreiver, he knows he is pretty and struts around.

Zsa Zsa - A long haired tabby. Her and my other cat are sisters. They are both less than a year old (We had a cat until she was 21 last year. She had to be put down because she was so old and she couldn't move anymore. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif)

Nipsy - She is the prettiest calico you will ever see.

We had our cats spayed and declawed this week. Nipsy still doesn't like putting her paws down. So she sits like a little prarie dog.

As there are different breeds of beagle, I think it was probably one of the bigger beagles. The mother was a rottweiler as the original owner showed us the picture. Basically head of a beagle, body of a rottweiler. She's a good dog though. More laid back.

Footie's my sweetie though. Very playful and fun.

I've always been a cat lover. I think it's hereditary. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif My mom was raised with loads of cats and so the cycle continues. They are just the coolest pets! Of course, I like dogs as well, but I prefer cats. Growing up, we usually had at least one dog. I've also had a few guinea pigs over the years. The last one died when we had to evacuate for hurricane Andrew (I'm in Louisiana). She just couldn't take the heat. But she thought she was a cat. We had seven kittens at the time and we let her out to play with them. She always looked perplexed at how the cats could climb and she couldn't! It's was too cute! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/kitty.gif

In addition to our two dogs, we now have a cat.

My boyfriend went out golfing today and I rode in the golf cart. This black cat starts running across the course and rubs up against my bf's leg. He picks the cat up and puts him in the golf cart where the cat pretty much stayed for the rest of the 9 holes.

His name is Parley. At least I think the cat is a boy. I hope my dogs won't hurt him though.

before you know it they will be friendly annoying (or just ignoring) parley all together. i would keep a close eye out for a few weeks though.

You know its odd.. i don't have any pictures of my Dogs. We have three. Two mini-schnauzers the male is Skyler, and the female Teann (pronounced tea-anne) and a mixed breed terrior-ish old fella named Pugsly. Teann is in heat right now, but the boys are fixed so no unexpected puppies even if they will not leave her alone. Pugsly is about 14 years old and still getting about pretty well. He has cataracts quite bad and has trouble judging distance sometimes, but nothing dangerous.

We also have a one eyed cat (BB gun accident) named Jack, short for One-Eyed Jack. He spends about 99 percent of his time sleeping in a kitchen chair, i swear he is the laziest cat in the world.

Is he neutered?

If they're neutered they tend to come back quicker - otherwise I have heard tales of cats being gone for months before returning. Neutered cats can still be gone a few days if the mood takes them though.
Have you put up any pictures up locally?

Thanks, yes they're great. I don't know if this is a charachteristic they all share, but she is very "musical", she does a lot of noises, not just barking.

I didn't think when I bought my couch. It's navy blue and two of my cats are mostly white. So Cassie will sleep on the couch all day and when she hears me pull up in the driveway she gets off the couch onto the floor and gives her best pathetic look for when I walk in the door. (Like she's slept on the hard floor all day.) In the meantime, the couch is covered with white fur! I wasn't born yesterday... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif So I got her a blanket to sleep on which helps.

She is a six month old golden retriever. If you look back a couple of pages you can see a pic of her. She has enough energy to run for hours and not get tired.

Yea DaVinci was found at about 6 weeks old with mange, malnutrition, worms, and he was hurt from being thrown out of a car we thing. He's really healthy now. He's one of the fastest dogs I've ever seen. Although that sucks when he gets out of the yard. He's hard as hell to catch.

Wish I had some pictures of my cats too. Right now they are staying with some friends until we sell the house. So I don't get to see them much right now.

On a slightly depressing note - sorry but I need to talk about this...

I went home last week and my family doggie Sam is looking really old. Please someone invent a dog that will live as long as a human. I can't bear to see him like this - his wee back legs are not working so well anymore and his eyes are cloudy. Oh man it really upset me. It'll be like loosing a brother. I just gave him lots of extra hugs, but it's so sad. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif

Don't you worry girl, sometimes they still can have a good quality life for a much longer time... I lost a doggie 2 months ago, but before that she lived blind and deaf for 3 years since she first became blind.
We had to take her to the Vet cause she couldn't walk properly and he gave us some calcium and other stuff and she was able to walk better and was happy!

I have a cat 15 and one 14 and I worry about them at times. Especially Cassie (the 15 year old), she's gotten frail. But she has a healthy appetite and does all her usual things. She even plays from time to time, which is kind of odd for a cat of her age. Catie is 14 and she'll look at you like you're nuts if you dangle something in front of her to get her to play. My biggest fear is having to put one of them down. That will kill me. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif

I know exactly how having to put a pet down feels like. I had a 15 year old black lab who was a sweet heart. We had her since she was just a little pup. Then the day before we left to drop my big bro off to college she had a stroke and we had to put her down. Man I cried all that day and the entire way to philly it was really hard. But then you get another pet and it gets kinda better. Until they eat a peach pit and get a hole in her intestines and has to be put down (another 13 hours of crying). Well now we have to dogs and they are both really healthy and my family and I are really careful.

We had a black lab too Mirax, he was called Joe and he was just so lovely and funny. We had him for 14 years, it was so hard when we had to put him down. I still go to where he is burried in our garden and say hello, I loved him as much as I've loved some humans, actually more than I've loved a lot of humans. I know it's going to be really hard with Sam because he was my doggie.

it was really hard a while back when my moms cat of 20 years, been like mine since the day my parents brought me home from birth, started showing his age.
