Myfavorite fan fiction...hmmm
I'd have to say a Merc's Tale. IT was a collaboration of me, and an ex-senator Mandalore007 (Mandy style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif) I forgot what his title was. It was in two parts, my characters percpective, and then Mandy's.

<font style='width=80%; filter:glow(color=blue)'><span style="color:white">I would have to say mine. One Fan Fic I tured into an RPG and it did real big. It's called "The Dark Forces" I'm already planning an Episode VIII for it. Than I have one that takes place two weeks before AOTC. I have another one that takes place one month before TPM. I have stoped working on them, I will finish them though. I'll start again either before this year is over with or next year. I'm starting on a new one that is set after AOTC and it is set around Padme, Greg-Wan, (character I made up in The Dark Force) and Anakin. I'm really wanting to get that one done very soon.</span></font>

My first involvement with fan fiction was with stuff over at TF.N, so I've been a follower of the works there for a long time. I particularly enjoyed the three-part "Other Half" series which gave us an alternate universe account of events after the Battle of Yavin in which Luke and Leia are captured by Vader. And then it just goes off completely from what you would think would happen. Very cool story.
Brendon Whalberg's stuff there, especially Dark Emperor and the script for "The Princess of Ondos" (what would have been the sequel to one of the original drafts of the first Star Wars movie) are quite good, and can be found on one of the starwarz.com websites (The Starkiller Scripts (http://www.starwarz.com/starkiller)).

Please PM me, I'll PM you back to tell you exactly what my specific instructions as a moderator are concerning such requests. But I will see what I can do.

My favourite? "Tales of the Old Republic- The Way to Destruction".
Sure, I'm a writer for it.. but it's been a great story so far. It's actually a sequel to a story that we didn't finish (but will, once this one is done! lol).
Be sure to check it out.. it's a long read, but worth it, I think... besides, were extremely close to the climax, now....

<span style="color:#daa500">Shoma, you keep promising we're finishing "Corellian Plot"... lol... one story at a time.
I agree with ya, Shoma. WTD has turned out really well even though it's slow going. We've been writing it for a year and a half... can you believe it? I consider WTD a multi-author novel rather than an RPG. I've been doing some other more interactive RPG-style stuff, but I don't like it as much. I prefer to do the character and plot development of a real story.
WTD is great because we have really great writers and we support each other and try to respect what each author wants from their characters. We have all more or less become friends in the process of writing it, which makes it very special to me.
