start contemplating on what to do after gradudate school...
find a house so we can move out of our noisy apartment (gosh I can't study sometimes)...
and finally, try not to be so conservative style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/chortle.gif

Instead of N.Y resolutions I picked a theme for the year instead which is magic.

Good stuff!! Last year's resolution was to by a house, and we did it. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif So I'm about 1 for 30 now with resolutions, but hey, the small victories count!
I've been an Open Source 'evangalist' for some years now, and I figure it's time to start "walking the walk". So my resolution this year is to try to move as much of my computing needs onto Open Source as possible - both at home and at work. My workplace is a *heavy* Microsoft shop, so there will be some small challenges there. Home should be pretty easy. I will need to keep one Windows '98 partition, however for my gaming - but aside from that it's gonna be Linux/OpenOffice/Mozilla/Apache all the way. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif

My New Year's Resolution:
Bring vengeance to my enemies. Raze their homes and Devestate their lands. Drive their weeping women and children before me as all their worldly possessions burn and their hopes crumble to dust.

I don't usually make New Years resolutions but this year I did.
My resolution is to get up off my lazy arse and make sure I can go to the school of my choice next year. Being out of school for the past couple years has made me feel like a loser. I will never get what I want in life if I can't accomplish it because I am not educated enough.
That and I also plan to meet even more beautiful women this year. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

-Lose 20 pounds, at least! I already joined the gym recently, so hopefully I'll get my lazy ass over there enough to fulfill this.
-Save money! Started a 401k recently through work, so that helps, but I want to save moeny on my own as well.
-Start looking for a house. We've been renting too long.
-Get some sort of videography work going on the side. Recently bought a pretty expensive camera and it's time to start making money off it.

Are you still running? Didn't you get the last resolution started already, buying the camera and working with that guy?
RollaFett

Well, I'm going to the gym, just not enough and when I didn't run nearly enough over the summer.
As far as the camera goes, yes, I do have it but the making money part is gonna take a little more time. it's not so easy.

Well, you know, one naturally leads into another. It's all a matter of confidence. If I lose weight, I'll get the confidence to go out and get laid. If I get laid, I'll get the confidence to go back to school, and so on and so on and so on.
And if that explanation doesn't work, there's always the simple fact that getting laid is a priority, and it ain't gonna happen at my current weight!

-To give up Slurpees (Already broke it)
-To give up non-diet pop (Already broke it)
-To eat better, exercise, and lose weight (It was just a pipe dream)
-To watch at least one movie a day and end the year having seen at least 365 movies (still going strong, have watched 52 movies in the 36 days of 2007)
