I was reading Cloak of Deception for the first time, and it said "Bail Antilles, of Alderaan." Is that Bail Organa, and for some reason he changed his last name. If so, why? Is it possibly that Wedge is related Leia and Luke?

As far as Im aware Bail Antilles, Wedge Atilles and Captain Antilles are not related to each other.
Bail Antillies was mentioned in TPM as standing for Supreme Chancellor in opposition to Palpatine and he even had a scene that was cut.
Is Wedge half brother to the twins? Doubtful but everyone knows that Wedge is the true hero of the Rebellion anyway!!! :b

I think Antilles is the Star Wars equivalent to Smith.
The two Bails are two different people.

Has it been written if Bail A and Bail O know each other?

It hasn't been written that I know of, but I am sure that they do, they were both Senators from Alderaan apparently back to back.
By the by, what did you think of Cloak of Deception? I thought it was good, but I have heard negative comments from others.

I thought it was a little boring at times. The best part (in my opinion) was when the Jedi went to that slaving planet and then broke out Force-style on the guys. That was pretty cool. Like, AOTC all over again.

For further discussion on Cloak of Deception read here (http://www.galacticsenate.com/index.php?act=ST&f=8&t=1903).
I think Capt. Antillies (CA) and Bail Organa (BO) and Bail Antillies (BA) are the same unless I can be proven wrong. Here's my rational (flaws and all):
BO=BA: BA, senator from Alderaan, and Alee Teem (sp?), senator from Malistare(sp?) ran against Palpy for Supreme Chancellorship in TPM, but we never go to see them. BO shows up in AOTC as senator of Alderaan. My solution is BO's full name is Bail Antillies Organa (or Bail Organa Antillies). Kind of like Padme Naberee Amidala.
CA was the last owner of the Artoo and Threepio. We know that BO is a hero from the Clone War. Maybe BO got the rank of captain during the war. It makes sense that BO=CA since the droids end up with Leia, his step-daughter. The problem with this is it has been speculated that BO was a general during the Clone War and we know that Obi-Wan served under him during the war from Leia's message in ANH. One's got to think that BO had a higher rank than capt. in the Clone War as did Obi-Wan. One explaination could be that BO put the droids away or shut them down or they moved from ship to ship, not really belonging to anyone or they went with Obi-Wan or Yoda and the last name they knew of to call a previous owner was Capt. Antillies. You know how Threepio is with titles.
Confusing, but it may prove to be true.

Wasn't Obi-Wan Kenobi a general during the clone wars? In Truce of Bakura, Admiral Ackbar says "General Kenobi." I hope someone writes a book about Kenobi in the Clone Wars. That would be pretty cool.

Yeah apprently he served Bail Organa in the Clone Wars as a General, which makes me think that some fighting was done on Alderaan, or Bail Organa was put in charge of a Legion of Clonetroopers or something.

Captain Antillies is the guy on the Tantive IV who has his throat crushed by Vader at the start of ANH. It states this in the Novel or Radio drama I think {not always to be trusted I know}. If you look closely he is wearing a different uniform to the earlier soldiers, this and with Vader interogating him suggests a higher rank.
Bail Antillies was originally cast in TPM but his scenes were cut. He was to be played by actor Adrian Dunbar. Bet hes gutted!

In an earlier post, someone asked if any stories had been written about the two Bails previously. Well, there has been.
In the HoloNet News (http://www.holonetnews.com/56/archives) website that Lucasfilm used as an Official Continuity "news source" for Pre-Episode II promotion, there was a story in one of the editions that featured the former Senator Bail Antilles and his successor Bail Organa. I can't find the article off-hand, but read through some of the previous editions and you should be able to find it.

I dont think there is a connection just a popular name in their Galaxy. And i dont care for wedge I dont think he is the hero of the rebellion look at hin in ANH hes no good in the Death Star battle hes lucky he was not killed.

WHAT! Did someone just insult Wedge Antilles? I think I will just ignore that remark. You wanna talk about lucky! How about that Luke Skywalker! Nearly getting blown out of the trench by Vader (if not for Han) Nearly freezing to death on Hoth (if not for Han) Nearly falling off the weather vane on cloud city (if not for Leia) Nearly getting killed by Jabba (if not for R2) Nearly getting shocked to death by the Emperor (if not for Vader) If you ask me Luke is the one who relies on LUCK. Wedge was smart enough not to get killed at the battle of Yavin, he showed them all how to trip walkers on Hoth, and was part of the one two punch on the second death star.
Luke Skywalker is one of my favorite charecters, but I just have to defend Wedge.

I think "Bail" is a title they use on Alderaan, like "Prince" or "Lord" or "Duke."

That would not surprise me, GL has done that before with the whole Darth as a title thing.

X-3PO, there is no luck. Only the force style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif But, yeah... I kinda agree with you. I didn't really have much respect for Wedge until I read the Rogue and Wraith Sqaudron books, but now I realize he's like one of the greatest pilots ever.

Yes Wedge is a must in the Star Wars universe, just a little side charecter but he does so much.

Yeah, exactally. "A young Jedi named Darth Vader..."
Wouldn't his name just be Vader, if that is a title? Anywho I like the idea, but just goes to show you that this stuff is all a work in progress.

Don't all the Sith change their name anyway? Like
Palpatine to Sidious
Dooku to Tyrannus
Skywalker to Vader
I don't know about the Darth though... another mystery I must consume...
