I finished reading Tales of the Empire, and on one of the stories, Grand Admiral Thrawn acted like Jodo Kast. What I wondered was... Is Kast a real bounty hunter and Thrawn just impersonated him or is he just Thrawn?

No, Kast was a real guy, Thrawn just impersonated him in order to complete his objectives.

There are very few stories about Kast, but he has been given his own SWCCG card from the old Decipher series (back in the Jabba's Palace revised expansion set) and you can see his "last hurrah" in Boba Fett: Twin Engines of Destruction, and old, hard to find Dark Horse comic that collected a serial from SW Galaxy Magazine.

So... has he bit the space dust yet? Or is he still alive?

Isn't he the guy who pretended to be Boba Fett?

Boba kills/breaks him in BF:TEOD.
And, yeah, he used Boba's rep.

What's BF:TEOD? I'm not familiar with all the abbreviations.

oh, jeez. Idiot mistake once again.
I saw this comic at the store the other day... but it didn't have the same style as the one Frendon put up. I'm new to all the comics and I wanted to know if this one was bona fide as well as Open Seasons (was that the name?). Anyway, it was simply called "Jango Fett" and it was more book-like without the usual paper comic cover.

I thought Boba Fett killed him in an issue of "Star Wars Tales"...in fact, I think I have it...

Jors: Yeah, Jango Fett is an Official Continuity comic. It ties into the Zam one-shot.

I have the comic where he dies, but I can't find it, and it was just a one-shot, or it was a story in an anthology, or something. I remember Dengar helps Boba out. I have to find it...

I think it was two parter. It takes place just after ROTJ, and I guess the Bountyhunter Trilogy (which was not good...had it's points, but overall it was too erratic in it's timeframes). So yeah Dengar is in it, but not for the final showdown and all that. They had an excerpt in Star Wars Galaxy (Now Collector.)

Yeah I liked twin engines of destruction. It was Dengar that tips Boba Fett off that Kast has been continuing to pretend he's Fett and get jobs under false pretences. It's also the story that contains one of my favourite Fett lines when Dengar says that because of the sarlacc scars he's not surprised that Fett doesn't show his face and there's a close up of Fett's visor and he says...
'This is my face'

No . . . It wasn't a two-parter. It was a one-shot comic, collecting a 4-part SW Galaxy Magazine story. It is mentioned in retrospect in other works, but appeared only in comic book form, never prose.

There was also another Mandalorian that was on the avatar page and now I can't find him. I can't remember his name but his colors were blue and yellow. Who is that? Not Montross, right?
And flo... what's up with the squirrels?

O-B-GATES, isn't that just a little... um... rude, I guess, to just post a smilie in every thread you see? No offense or anything, it's just that it's the only thing that you post.
Being a mod myself at another forum, I know I'm not saying anything inappropriate, but I'm just wondering why you're not contributing anything constructive to these threads when you can.

I think it's his way of "bumping."

But most of the stuff is on the first page as it is, so is there really any reason for it? I'm just wondering.
Thanks Nathan.
