Anyone watching this season of survivor? As always, its amazing! Hands down the best reality show.

I searched on here for a thread for this season but only saw that we were posting ones from All Stars and another season. Might as well start a new one since there's only 5 survivors left!

Yes...and I'm glad that Arrogant Queen Ami is now gone.

AS you can tell, she really bugged me.

It's funny, isn't it how Chris should have been the first one voted off in the show when he lost the first challenge, slipping on the balance beam over and over.

And BTW,how 'bout that Julie. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif

It's hilarious that Chris is the last man standing! If he makes it to the final 2 I think he will win. All the women, except for Julie, have enemies, Chris doesn't.

I hated Ami from day one. She ruled through fear and assumed too much. The last two tribal councils made me get up and happy dance!

Yes, they were definitely exciting changes of events. Ami and Leann got completely arrogant and complacent. I loved their faces during tribal counsel.

Did anyone read the profile on Scout on the main website? Damn that lady has been busy in her 59 years of age.

And is it me, or does this season of Survivor have the most women on it with breast implants?

Hell yeah, I love her eyes and her whole body and face are very appealing.

I haven't watched Survivor since the end of September. It was a tradition for me and my mom to always watch it together and I haven't wanted to watch it alone. I was glad to see Chris still in the race, along with Eliza. I thought he would have been booted after losing that balance challenge in the beginning of the show. I see his strategy as of last night's show. He's going to try to get rid of the second older women next so he won't be outnumbered by them at the end, then get rid of Eliza because she's too cute, and go into the final two with Twila who has several enemies there. He'll win against her, byt maybe not against Eliza or that second older woman (can't remember most of their names after not watching for 2 months).

Good point. But I was quoting Chris Rock. "Women could easily rule thw world. But they can't cause women hate other women"

Even though two were lesbians (god bless them), they still all hate each other. I however missed about 3 episodes were the men were kicked off. I guess the same happened to them cause they were fighting amongst themselves before the girls were. But from what I saw, they were simply out numbered.

So which girl do you think will do Playboy? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif Actually, one is already in it

I don't root anymore, it just leads to heartbreak because I always root for the biggest targets. The reasons are identical: They stand out. I remember it tying my innards in knots for fear that Rupert was gonna get the boot on Pearl Islands, and I can't go through that anymore.

Having said that...it's frustrating that I'd love to go ga-ga for Katie, but can't because one of my sisters sports that name. Call me old-fashioned, but it's hard enough for me to get, um, excited without having family come to mind. (My perversity has its limits, I must admit.)

Blizzard
05-13-2005, 03:48 PM
The women blew it on the last Survivor, too and a man won. I have no idea what they are thinking!

But I am so glad Caryn is gone, I never liked the way she played, very two-faced, even though that is they way you need to play the game sometimes. I hate those players who are more interested in shaking up the game. It's the ones like Jen, who fly unter the radar, who win the game.

I don't know anything about Jen, but I so want her to win now! Even though I still love Tom and Ian. I can't see how the jury hates any of these people, they have all played with loyalty, except for maybe Katie. And They might dislike Tom for being so strong in the game, but the jury has also been known to vote for the person who screwed them over the most, because that is what the game is about.

I'm just ticked it was Katie, i happen to agree with Greg i think she was pathetic, and there is no way, no way that she knew Ian and Tom where going to be so strong 2 days in. I know, I've been ranting to friends about this! It's part of the game. Too bad if they don't like how it's played. Tom had his plans too.

I also couldn't believe that Katie had the audacity to rag on Ian either after some of the stuff she pulled.

Darth Star

Ian's biggest handicap was that he is horrible at lying. While it may make him a good person, it made the Survivor game too challenging for him in the end. Yet he still almost did it.
What really bothers me are the jury members that judge the final two for their lies and manipulations, when most of them had similar plans but were ousted before they could implement them.

Blizzard
05-17-2005, 02:44 PM
Actually the jury members are known for voting for the person who screwed them over the most. I think they figure they could only be voted out by a true mastermind so that person deserves to win.

Can you imagine the Survivor parties and get togethers? A meeting of the minds!

And it might be a girl thing, but I LOVE that Coby named his adopted daughter after Janu. I had no idea they were close while on the island.

Well, if memory serves, Episode IV's location list included Guatemala. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

I was kinda rooting for Katie, having picked her to win it at the outset on the basis of seeming most consistent with the winners' profile that Blizz once taught me. Something about the quiet one who doesn't make waves and maintains enough connections to wind up at least in the final four.

But, as soon as I hear Tom describe himself as a stubborn Irishman, I was cheering him on as well.

All in all, I'm glad I decided to watch this season.

Survivor: Guatemala starts on September 15th!

We checked out the tribes at cbs.com and all the hotties are on the yellow tribe.

There are players named Jamie, Brooke, Blake and Jim, just like the Senators who hang out in the Senate chat!!!

There are a couple semi well known people, too. An NFL quarterback and a Miss USA runner up slash model-actress.

It was making me hurt just watching it!!! This fall I'm going to be very busy but after watching that first episode, I have to make time to watch this show.

Since its after midnight, I love how they brought back Steph and Bobby John. Good decision. I can't believe how sick the men got but they made a good decision by kicking out Tim due to his arm. For a second I felt bad for him by getting the boot but when I saw at the end that he voted for the nurse, I was pissed! She was the most helpful. Without her, someone probably would have died or something.

Great show!

Awesome premiere! I am thrilled that Bobby John and Steff got another changed, if anyone ever deserved one it was those two. I just hope they can hang in there. Bobby John lost so much weigh from being dehydrated you can't even tell it's him in some of the interview clips.

And Blake in the next show, yeeouch! Do you think the spikes from that tree poisoned him or something. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif

Just like last season, all the prettiness is voted out right away. This time because the pretty ones and mainly the dumb ones. Brianna, Morgan and Blake, cute, but dumb as rocks.

I didn't think Gary would make it very far, he was odd man out in his tribe. BUT, the girl who KNOWS he's a former NFL quarterback and has tried to get him to admit it twice, was the one who voted with Gary and voted out one of her own tribemates. Very interesting. I was soooo happy Brian wasn't kicked out, he's rather entertaining.

Still rooting for Steff. At least she catches a few breaks here and there.

I watched it on Thanksgiving with the whole family who are also fans so it was great!

The outcome was sad, but Tribal Council was CLASSIC!!! I kept screaming at Gary, the way I regularily scream at the TV, to out Judd on all his lies. Judd kept saying over and over that he never lied. FINALLY Gary told everyone the lie Judd told about the idol being on the ground and not in the trees. I was loving it.

But Gary was voted out, even by his own alliance, which I don't understand at all.

Rafe keeps winning immunity, but they never think he is a threat because he doesn't LOOK like a threat. And he's just too nice to vote out.

It is wonderfully hilarious how Bobby Jon and Jamie are first on the Jury. Poor Gary is stuck with them for weeks now.

I'm glad Danni won but I was a bit P.Oed at Judd for yelling at Steph. You can't play Survivor without a strategy, and Stephs happened to be lying. Judd had even said you can't base your strategies on feelings. Judd had voted for Danni mainly because his feelings were hurt. He had said You can not play Surviver without some bit of lying and Judd just so happened to be a threat to Steph. If Steph had lied to someone else I'm 99.9% sure Judd would have wanted Steph to win.

I like the new idea with the 4 teams divided that way! A very enjoyable first episode!

The one thing that I like about Survivor is that they change stuff up but it still has the same feel to it. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

Its basically the same show and challenge events rehashed over and over.......but its just too good not to watch.

I loved the first episode but I think it was wrong to vote off Tina. Even though she got totally lucky with the fish, that reason alone is perfect for immunity. Its funny how people were so amazing when Richard caught the fish in season 1 and how that single event kept him around for a while. Then you have Tina almost 5 years later and shes catches a bigger fish and gets the boot.

Looks like next week the teams will merge.

The older women are either scared of Cirie so they voted with her or they didn't like how Tina went off by herself. If Tina had used her son for sympathy she'd still be there, but I am glad she didn't.

I am LOVING the older men! I hope they can hang in there to the end.

And I loved Misty's idea of making everyone think she already had the immunity idol. Great idea.

She was, this week it was Ruth Marie. The only one left from the Old Ladies tribe is Cirie, and I can see her conniving her way to the end.

Oh, but the best thing you missed was that Terry found the idol. It was a shrunken head in a bottle, in a box, buried about a foot underground, under a rock, under a tree shaped like a Y.

That is WHY Jeff kept telling them to ask themselves "WHY" they were sent to Exile Island.

I loved how they showed him finding the idol. It was great!

and I totally agree that the tribe with Cirie will not vote her off because she is keeping quiet with all of the other wackos going crazy at each other. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the best way to last in Survivor is to just keep your mouth shut and do a decent amount of work.

I was hoping that Bruce would find the idol. Poor guy had to go to Exile Island twice in a row. Shane was an idiot and told La Mina that Bruce was their leader. I like Terry though. He's the other leader and seems to be a pretty nice guy. He's definitely smart and in it for the win...I think he'll probably go all the way. I don't think he'll have to use his idol either, becuase no on from La Mina will vote him off, they need him so badly. Next off will be Courtney, or at least I hope. Her and Shane need to leave, Danielle needs to stay because she's just too pretty. :heartbeat: (and her birthday is a day before mine, different year though)

Well I have a player that I prefer to win over another(I'm trying not to say favorite) but I don't really prefer one tribe over another. Each tribe has its share over pros and cons and Casaya has a real big problem(or two, namely Shane and Courtny, in my opinion) with tribe chemistry.

If you're going to be selfish on Survivor, be selfish by keeping yourself in the game. It's probably good that Bobby's gone. Casaya is going to get a rude awakening when they realize they're going to lose if they can't cooperate. I don't think they'll ever learn to cooperate. But anyway, thanks to my girl Danielle  Bruce is alive, as he should be, I think that Bruce will start to play the game a little more and tell people what they want to hear. ;) Well, another great episode and I'm still pooling for Bruce...and :heartbeat: Danielle :heartbeat:

I laughed my flippen ass off when Bobbie and Bruce were dressed in raincoats, in the outhouse, drunk and finishing off the wine. Funniest moment so far on Exile.

Bobbie had no game, he needed to go. Though I DO NOT LIKE Courtney! Seriously, what a ***** to do her Yoda in Bruce's Zen rock garden.

I am so glad LaMina stayed alive. It's best when the merge has five from each tribe. Though the next tribal council will "be like none other" they said. I love the twists they throw at us, and we are due for a good twist.

Blizzard

Austin will be next, because he outed himself to be a liar and a faker. Then someone from the other tribe, most likely Shane, will go bye-bye because when they DO vote Terry out and he whips out that idol, the other person with the most votes leaves.

But why do your think Terry tell Sally he has the idol on the next show? The secret must have been killing him.

And WTF? Wasn't someone going to be taken away on a stretcher? I thought for a minute it was going to be Bruce when he took that machete to the mouth. But we got nothing.

But you have to first think about that first vote to try for him where he will of course use the idol. This is the week that you think that they (they 6 of Casaya) would vote all 6 against Terry but then that gives Terry the deciding vote. And I know that Shane or Aras will not let that happen since they know they would be the ones to go. Therefore they are all going to kill each other with Terry sitting in the back watching it all. Two weeks from now it will be down to 5 of Casaya and Terry. Once again, they will not let Terry have the deciding vote and he will move into the final four with the idol. (even though he cannot use it past that point but his intelligence, wit and athelticism will move him into the finals where he will win the millions.)

Well, well Courtny finally leaves...interesting episode. I've had no doubt for weeks(just like probably 99% of people who watch Survivor) that Terry will make it all the way. But hey who knows what still might happen, it'll be interesting to see who he takes to the final two with him.

Terry deserves the million more than anyone else on that island.

Tonights episode was amazing and the best player was Cirie. Talk about performing better (despite the reward challenge) and actually taking a stand on things.

Cirie plotted it all out and played them all and did exactly what she needed to do. She knows how to play this game. AND she caught a fish!

Terry's best bet is to lose the next immunity so he can use the idol and decide who he wants to take to the final four. Whoever he votes for will go home. And You can be sure it will be Aras. Shane and Cirie need Aras so it's the only way Terry can get rid of him, and the idol won't be good after the next challenge anyway. It's strange he hasn't waved it all in their faces yet and put some fear in them. They are all playing the game as if they still have a chance to go to the final four together. Not happening.

So far Terry has Austin and Sally's votes. Most likely Courtney's vote because her own team dogged her. My son insists Terry has Bruce's vote, but Bruce never swayed from voting with Casaya. Without Bruce's vote Terry has no chance at the million, no matter who he takes to the final two.

^Yes, I think that's great strategy, but Terry doesn't seem like the type to loose on purpose. I think that if he does win immunity again he will give the other idol to who ever has the most votes, thus eliminating Aras any way.

I love that Terry has now won his final four bet with Shane!

I will bet you a million right now that If Terry makes it to the final two, which he will, he will win the million. I think he just got Shane's vote, too. You just don't screw over Shane. I can't believe his alliance did, I so wanted to see Shane and Aras and Terry in the final three. Now we will see a woman there and I just don't like how Danielle and Cirie have slipped through doing nothing spectacular and not even having to try.

Of course Shane didn't do anything at ALL on the island. But it was saying, "I have been completely honest with everyone," that got him booted. Cirie is out to get rid of all the nice guys. But she is pissing off her friends to do it. She'll never win this. She is the one nice guy they should have got rid of long ago. Shane loved his tribe, so I am dying to see if he forgives their backstabbing, or if he votes for Terry in the end. Terry is the one who gave him the greatest night ever with his son.

Terry's only bet now is to hang on to Danielle, who only has two possible votes from the jury, (Aras and Cirie). And from the previews it looks like she will finally vote with Terry, after screwing him over twice in the past.

I think Terry could possibly have the votes of everyone on the jury so far. That's five votes, he only needs four.

Aras has to go home next. The end!
