<span style="color:purple">Hey Meche... Mara. Yeah, I've been grossly violating my post once a month rule. I dunno why. Some days I'm inspired to write, but don't have time to sit down and do it, other days I've got time, but lack inspiration. Watching the EP3 trailer got me in the mood to write SW again, but then I got depressed about the era being almost over. I'm still in, though... of course.

Hopefully I'll get out of this funk soon. And I know, I don't go on AIM anymore either. I've been going to bed earlier since I'm trying to work out again.

Grad school Mara? Kewl! I'd like to go back, but now I have my kids' college to save up to help pay for, so I can't justify spending that kind of $ on myself. Maybe someday.</span>

I hear you about applying, Mara. Getting into college is too tricky. Maybe it's part of the test in order to get in!

Don't worry you guys. We're all doing real life stuff. It comes first.

Ahhhh...yeah, I'm still alive. I think. Grad school is taking ALOT of time right now, as well as working a fulltime job. Man, I need a teaching position so I'll at least have more descent work and school hours, right now everything is REALLY LATE.

So anyway, FYI, I am still around, and someday I do actually intend to post...

<span style="color:purple">Hey gang... yeah, I'm still alive. Lots going on, so I don't write much anymore. I think about the story every now and then. I was telling someone at work about it yesterday and it made me nostalgic enough to check if anyone posted recently. Heh. It's prolly my turn.

I would love to finish this and wrap it in a tidy bow and even print it off for fanfriends of mine to read, but everyone seems to be busy saving the world. Sometime I need to just force myself to get back into it and hope at least one of you will help me finish this sucker.

Maybe after next month.... yes, I've stooped to a new level of fandom... I'm going to Celebration III. Can you believe it? I can't. I'm dragging my middle daughter along who at least won't tell people dressed up to get a life. Maybe I need a good Obi-Wan shirt....

So that plus the movie finally coming out might spark my desire and get Jedi juices flowing. Either that or I'll meet Ewan McGregor at the convention and we'll both decide to leave our spouses and run away to Ixtapa together... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif

Awesome, Cat! Hope you have fun at the Celebration. I've never been to one, myself.

I have a suggestion, which I should follow, too. I'm going to read over all of my posts in this thread. That should get me back into the mindset of my characters. It usually helps me think of new ideas and continue writing. Sorry about being distant. Remember, if you want to get me going, e-mail me. <span style="color:purple">Really? You were thinking about it? Weird, isn't it. We've gotten so far with this story and have been writing it for three years (not really much the last year, but...) I would like to figure out how to finish it. I know we don't have Joruus and I seriously doubt Shoma will ever return, but I can write his part and maybe get inspired enough to finish Joruus' too. Just need time to do it. So little by little I'm posting stuff, just because I want it to reach that cool climactic ending we planned to have.

Whoever wants to post when they feel inspired is more than welcome, of course. It'll be here, I'll be here, so you won't see it disappear entirely until I can bring the story to closure. Just a crazy goal I have. I've written on some other RPG/novels with other ppl and this one is still the best idea/plot/story/cool variety of characters I've seen. So I just gotta finish it. It won't be as good if I do most of the parts instead of you all, but I understand.

Keep it tracked, and I'll let everyone have plenty of time to jump in with their parts if they want before attempting to tie up loose ends. This story belongs to all of us, not me.
