Luke was surprised to discover that Yoda reproduces through binary fission. In this picture we see a small, 'proto-Yoda' on Yoda's back - which will eventually fall off and start a life of its own, thereby perpetuating the species.

Luke could handle his master's asyntactical babbling, his bad cooking, the constant scent of mold, and the lack of stable landing space, but he nearly failed his trial when he had to let both his master and his master's neighbor's neice ride piggyback and watch the entire three-hour Mynock Festival Parade.
