Return of the Return of the Return of the Jedi: line-by-line

[Darill Cyllem]

*Arto warbles pathetically before slightly exploding.*

Han (grimmacing funnily): "Well. I suppose i could hot wire this thing."

[Momin327]

*Han opens a console and starts pulling out wires*

Leia: (to Han) "I'll cover for you."

*Leia kneels in front of Han, readying her blaster.*

[Darill Cyllem]

*Leia rushes forward to cover Han, drawing her blaster and kneeling in the lee of the door. Elsewhere in the battle, we see the Ewok's primitive airforce. Two Ewoks in hang-gliders drop rocks on the stormtroopers. A stray laser bolt catches one glider and it plummets to the ground. An AT-ST fires bolts at a couple surrying Ewoks. They are thrown to the ground. Only one gets up. He keens for his fallen friend.*

*Space shot showing the Rebel fleet in trouble. The Millenium Falcon dodges swiftly through the melee.*
Lando (yelling into comlink): "Yes, i said move closer! Move as close as you can and engage those star destroyers at point-blank range!"

[Momin327]

Ackbar: (into comm) "At that range, we won't last long against those Star Destroyers!"

[Darill Cyllem]

Land (still over comm): "We'll last longer than we will against that Death Star!"

[Momin327]

*The Millenium Falcon leads a small group of Rebel starfighters over a Star Destroyer, pursued by various TIE Fighters. One Rebel pilot isn't so lucky.*

X-Wing Pilot: "She's gonna blow!"

*His X-Wing spins out of control and explodes as a Star Destroyer's shield generator also explodes.*

[Darill Cyllem]

Y-wing pilot: "I'm hiiiiit!"

*Y-wing crashes into the control tower or a star destroyer. Spectacular explosion ensues."

*On the Death Star II, Luke is still watching the battle from the Emperor's window.*

Emperor: (to Luke) "Your fleet has lost, and your friends on the Endor moon will not survive. There is no escape, my young apprentice. The Alliance will die... as will your friends."

[Darill Cyllem]

*Luke glares at Palpatine, full of anger. Vader watches.*

Palpatine: "Good... I can feel your anger. I am defenseless... take your weapon! Strike me down with all of your hatred and your journer towards the Dark Side will be complete!"

*Luke wirls around, tired of Palpatine's taunts. His lightsaber flies into his hand. He ignites it, and swings for Palpatine. His green blade is met by Vader's red, blocking Luke's attack on Palpatine. Father and son turn to duel once more.*

[Momin327]

*Palpatine/Sidious cackles, even when the blades are very close to his neck. On the moon's surface, the battle rages on as Chewie and some Ewoks swing on a vine towards an AT-ST. Inside, the drivers hear a thud, but make nothing of it. Then, one of the Ewoks peeks inside through a viewport*

Driver 1: "Look!"

[Darill Cyllem]

Driver 2: "Get him off of there!"

*bump*

*Driver 1 opens the hatch and peeks his head out when suddenly, Chewie grabs him and throws him off! The two Ewoks get inside and start beating the last driver. As soon as that driver's incapacitated, they start working the controls that make the AT-ST move suddenly. Chewie is starled by the movement and peeks his head in before getting in and moving. The newly captured AT-ST slowly moves behing another AT-ST that is firing on Ewoks on the run. Suddenly, Chewie's AT-ST's fires on the other AT-ST, destroying it. The Ewoks stop running and look at the AT-ST, cheering. Chewie chuckles to himself as he destroys other AT-STs in the forest and firing upon Stormtroopers. Elsewhere, the Ewoks use other means to beat the Imperials, such as throwing a rope tied to a tree around a speeder bike, making the bike spin right into a tree; somewhere else, they have a rope tied between two trees, knocking down Scout Troopers on their speeder bikes. Other Ewoks throw rocks on Stormtroopers from above. Another group of Ewoks take down an AT-ST with two logs smashing into the cockpit. Another group knock some logs into the path of another AT-ST. This AT-ST tries to traverse the logs, but it can't, and it falls over, exploding as it hits the ground. Meanwhile, back at the bunker, Han is still trying to hotwire the door open*

Han: (to Leia) "I think I've got it. I've got it!"

[Darill Cyllem]

*Han fiddles with the wires. A second set of blast doors slams shut across the bunker entrance. Han looks sheepish. Leia is looking over her shoulder at Han, and takes a blaster-bolt to the meaty part of her shoulder for her concern.*

Leia: "Aaahggh!"
Threepio: "Oh, Princess Leia! Are you alright?"

note: i decided Leia's line was not really a proper line, and more like a Chewie or Artoo noise.

OOC: One line at a time

Leia: "It's not bad..."

[Darill Cyllem]

OOC: Did you see my note? Try to make it fun to play this game, mate.

We skipped:
Han: "Let's see."

[Cydon]

Freeze!

[Momin327]

Threepio: "Oh, dear!"

[Cydon]

"Don't move!"

[Momin327]

*Han sees the Stormtroopers pointing their blasters at them. Turning back to Leia, he notices she has her blaster pistol ready, but hidden out of view.*

Han: (to Leia) "I love you..."

[Darill Cyllem]

Leia (smiling serenely): "I know."

[Momin327]

Stormtrooper: "Hands up! Stand up!"

[Sam Kenobi]

Han: "Stay back."

Chewie: "ROAR."

Han: "Chewie!"

Chewie: "ROAR."

Han: "Get down here, she's wounded!"

Chewie: "ROAR."

Han: "No, wait! . . . I've got an idea."

[Sam Kenobi]

*bump*

[Momin327]

*Luke and Vader are still fighting with their lightsabers before the Emperor. Neither side backs down till Luke drives Vader towards the edge of the staircase and kicks him right off. Vader spins as he falls.*

Emperor: (to Luke) "Use your aggressive feelings, boy. Let the hate flow through you."

[Sam Kenobi]

Luke, resigned, shuts down his lightsaber.

Luke: "I will not fight you, father."

[Momin327]

*Vader starts walking the stairs*

Vader: (to Luke) "Obi-Wan has taught you well."

*Vader steps closer towards Luke*

Vader: "You are unwise to lower your defenses!"

[Sam Kenobi]

The battle continues, until Luke is able to out-saber his father, and get away, by jumping onto a catwalk.

Luke: "Your thoughts betray you, father. I feel the good in you. The conflict."

[Momin327]

Vader: "There is no conflict."

[Sam Kenobi]

Luke paces on the catwalk.

Luke: "You couldn't bring yourself to kill me before, and I don't believe you'll destroy me now."

[Momin327]

Vader: "You underestimate the power of the Dark Side. If you will not fight, then you will meet your destiny!"

*Vader throws his lightsaber, slicing off the supports of the catwalk, sending Luke falling off into the darkness of the throne room*

[Sam Kenobi]

The Emperor laughs, as Vader recalls his lightsaber and searches for Luke. Meanwhile, outside the throne room, the Battle of Endor rages on.

Lando: "Watch out, squad at point oh-six."

[Somerandomjedi]

Pilot: I'm on it, Gold Leader

[Momin327]

We skipped:

*Red Two, the Y-Wing takes out a TIE Interceptor*

Wedge: (into comm) "Good shot, Red Two!"

And Lando's line is "We're sure in the middle of it, now..."

*On the surface, an AT-ST stops outside the bunker. Inside, the Imperial officers receive a message from the AT-ST driver, who is really Han, covering his face with the comlink*


Han: "It's over, commander. The Rebels have been routed. They're fleeing into the woods. We need reinforcements to continue the pursuit."

[Sam Kenobi]

Imp Off: "Send three squads to help. Open the back door."

[Momin327]

Imperial Officer 2: "Yes, sir."

[Momin327]

*bump*

Let's blow this thing and go home!
