SpecForce campaigns

Im starting a thread about SpecForce adventures and hope some of you will participate.It is set when General Madine left the Empire and formed the SpecOps division.Players will start out in high command recruiting area.

In Alliance high command,Col Anjar,commander of SpecForce Urban Guerilla division walks up to the new recruits and shouts 'Who are you ensign and why do you want to be part of this unit'-
(Anyone who wants to be in,just answer the commander-DS)

Col Anjar leaves the recruiting area to go prepare for the mission briefing,leaving a message with his secretary that if new recruits want to join to take their details
(new players just leave their character name and skills etc) and they will be contacted.

Col Anjar walks into the briefing room where the troops are waiting patiently.
'Id like you all to welcome a new addition Blaine Vestair,you ready Vestair?'

The soldiers board the shuttle and take off.The shuttle goes into hyperspace and after a couple of days arrives at Chandrilla.It lands on the outskirts and Col Anjar briefs his troops.
'Alpha squad,you are to head to the fire zone and raise hell until you get the ok to Rendevouz back to the extraction zone.Blaine Vestair you will come with me,I need cover fire,while I plant explosives on the nearest barracks.Here is a silenced slugthrower sniper rifle,on a dark night like this it will come in handy.'

As Col Anjar and Blaine Vestair leave the group,the Colonel remembers that they have a Tie squadron that patrols around the areas and gets on the comlink
' Could Galor Khan report to me at the old War museum 3 minutes south of your position i need firepower if we are to encounter Ties.'

As the group sneak down to the barracks,they come to a desecrated building with a view of the barracks about quarter of a mile from their position.A long road stretches all the way down.A couple of Stormtroopers are seen patroling up the road through the binoculars.
Col Anjar*whispers*'Stay low,3 stormies heading our way,hang on we could use those uniforms anyone up for a quick fight?'

Col Anjar loads up his Blastech A280 blaster rifle and equips 3 frag grenades from his utility belt.

Col Anjar runs down the road but out of the blue, firing starts inside the building next to them puzzling the soldiers.
'Looks like were in for a long night lads,were going in'

Col Anjar-'Equip close quarter weapons,Blaine Kick that door down,Galor throw a stun grenade in and both follow me in'.

The group storm in the building, an enemy runs down the hallway madly firing his blaster rifle
Col Anjar- 'I got this one'
The Colonel aims his pistol and gets the enemy square in the head.

'Assistance 3 blocks down from the old war museum,Dark troopers,hell knows where they came from'

'Damn,theres a squad of stormtroopers heading our way,look through the window'
Col Anjar equips his blaster rifle.
'Cover me,im gonna put an explosive charge on the door,anyone opens it and BOOM'.
A group of four stormtroopers enter through the far door down the corridor.

IC: The unit immediately storm into the quarters, but stormtroopers were already waiting inside, and blaster fires come from both side. Marc was using his T-21, carrying it in his both arms, lifted into a firing position. He caught two stormies, then ducked into a crate just in time as a laser blast whipped past above his head. He saw four more stormies coming from the other side of the room. He pressed his T-21 over the crate, closed one eye for targeting and fired at the incoming troopers.

~As the unit and the stormtroopers engaged in battle, Andre snuck away to an alternative door leading to a halllway coming to an end behind the Stormtroopers, thus flanking them. One stormtroper is running through the hallways trying to help his comrades who are in battle. Andre sneaks hides in the shadows and waits for him to pass him before jumping on his back and stabbing him with a good ol' fashioned dagger he had since he was a kid. He reaches the end of the hallway ,but before rushing through the door, he detatches a concussion grenade and throws it into the group of Imperials, killing three. He rushes through the door and starts flanking them from behind, using a crate of cargo as cover when neccesary.~

*Galor puts his Cinnagaran Carbine on his belt and arms his Mandalorian Heavy Repeater and begins to open fire on the waves of Darktroopers and Stormtroopers*

*Noticing a break in the waves of Darktroopers and Stormtroopers, Galor makes a run towards the next bunker*

*On entering the bunker he find a datapad* "This is interesting *pauses* O no, Imperial Wardroids"

*comm* Sir this place constructs Imperial Wardroids we have to destroy it

Col Anjar-'Good work Galor'
The Colonel gets on his comlink
'Vestair,Andre,Gasacar get down to the bunker I believe were gonna have fireworks tonight'
Col Anjar heads towards the bunker and meets Galor.
'Good work Khan,I need a second in command,you up for acting Sergeant.Weve just got to wait for the rest of the guys to turn up.'
Col Anjar starts to plant explosives in the bunker while two stormtroopers run in
'Hold it rebels'
Col Anjar -'Up yours'-Throws his vibroblade through the chest plate of the first stormtrooper.

"Certainly Sir" *Galor says with a smile, as he blasts the second stormtrooper*

'Them lot are takin their time,well have to finish the job ourselves'
Col Anjar finishes planting explosives
'Sergeant,were done here,keep the datapad and get the hell out of here'
Col Anjar runs out of the bunker and dives behind the nearest wall

*Galor grabs the datapad before running out of the bunker and diving over the wall next to Col Anjar*

*comm* Find some cover, its about to blow

[Commander Zero]

Marc has shot only one from the four incoming troopers when Galor's voice was heard over his comlink's speaker telling the squad to take cover. He duck once more beside the crate which he was leaning into, and wait for an explosion to happen.

The group watch the last pieces of the bunker fall to the ground after an explosion'
'Gasacar get over here'
'Sergeant,we still dont know whether our Moff has been extracted yet,I suggest we move to the prison facility,get on the comlink and tell all units to head to the prison.'
'Move out soldiers'

Col Anjar heads north to the prison

Marc hasn't responded immediately to their colonel because he was busy in shooting down the enemy troopers. As soon as the explosion was finished, he rise up behind the crate he was ducking and rush to the rest of his comrades.

He reloaded the energy pack of his T-21 and join the rest into the prison.

Running behind Marc is Pac. Without saying anything he slings the Tenloss Rifle over his shoulders and also joins the rest in the prison while awaiting further orders.

Col Anjar-'Right were all here,Pac your good at sneaking around see if you can get in an air duct and locate the Moff.The rest of you,were gonna take out the Imperials here and see if we can release any other nice folks here'

As the Colonel and team move deeper into the prison they see a dumb prison officer asleep with keys in his hand.In one of the cells a deep voice says
'10,000 credits if you release me and get me to my estate'
The team look into the cell and see a Hutt
'My god you are disgusting,what do you guys want to do with him'

"Your decision, sir" Galor replies

[darth scourge]

'Go sneak up and gag that guard and take the keys,well let the overgrown slug out anyway'

The Hutt replies'Thank you, you will be rewarded when I reach my estate'

Col Anjar-'Just hide somewhere for now,weve got a job to finish'
Gets on comlink
'Pac,you got the Moff yet'

Col Anjar waits for a response

'Sergeant take the lead were going to the lower levels'

"Yes sir" *Galor moves on* "Lets move out soldiers, tatical column"

The soldiers move down to the lower levels and come to a sealed door.
'I can hear something behind here,probably guards,Ill put a charge on it,when it blows,Sergeant flash the area and kill any opposition'
The Col plants the explosive
'Right stand back'
Counts down to zero
BOOM the door blows outwards

Galor throws a concusion grenade through the open door way and waits for it to go off

"Follow me, me"

He runs forward blasting the Stormtroopers coming his way

Col Anjar runs in behind Sergeant Khan blasting a stormtrooper in the head.The inmates are cheering as more stormtroopers run in.
'Sergeant,take out the stormies while I let these prisoners out'
Col Anjar gets out the stolen keys and finds a master key which he lets out the prisoners.

[Commander Zero]

Marc join Galor as they headed down the prison alley to find the moff. He lifted his T-21 and together with his comrades they open fire with the stormtroopers.

"Seems like they're still coming through, sir! I think ill throw them a grenade."

With that he pulled a C-22 grenade from his vest and throw them at the incoming troopers.

"Fire in the hole!"

OOC: Sorry if i have to do that, i have different timezone from yours and you'll not reply that immediately. When I get back here you have already killed the stormtroopers before i have even pulled the grenade even though you'll approve it. If you don't like to happen it's our GM who'll decide whether that grenade goes off or not.

When the team finishes off the stormtroopers Col Anjar's comlink beeps
'Infiltrator unit to Urban unit come in'

'Go on Infiltrator unit'

'The Moff has been taken to a base in the middle of the ocean 100 miles from here,news just came in from the Bothan spynet,contact high command for further instructions'

'Ok over and out'

'All urban units head to the extraction zone,mission aborted'

'Well lads,that was a waist of time'

The team arrive back at the extraction zone.Col Anjar gets off of the multichannel comlink from high command.
'Well units were not finished here yet,weve been assigned to destroy the base that guards passageway to the sea facility.Me and Sergeant Khan will be leading the attack,any volunteers to come with us can.

(OOC:Anyone who wants to join can do so now)

'Vestair,Wallace,Gasacar you corporals now youve proved yourselves okay'

'Were gonna use 5 man combat speeders to get there,Sergeant you will man the turret,Gasacar you will pilot,Vestair and Wallace you will be forward and rear shooters theres no doubt we will encounter Imperial forces on the way,any questions'

"Yes sir. Corporals you heard the Col. get moving" ordered Sgt Galor Khan as he climbed abourd in the turret

The soldiers take off in the speeder and head out to the highway when the scanner beeps
'Ha ha I knew we would meet those Imps sooner or later'
The Col takes a look out of the speeder
'Two AT STs to the rear,Two Ties above'

The Col takes out an explosive charge and times it to detonate in 10 seconds and throws it out into the path of the first AT ST.The AT ST walks directly into the explosion and comes to a halt as the second walks directly past it.

*Galor targets the lead TIE and opens fire with the turret heavy weapons destroying it as the second drops in low behind the speeder*

"Hey guys, Pedel faster!"

*He targets the second TIE and fires hitting it sending into the path of the remain AT-ST, only damaging the AT-ST*

"Sir, if theres AT-ST's there is bound to be AT-AT and the small AT-PT here aswell"

'An AT AT we could outrun,were gonna have to be extra sharp'
The Col gets on the comlink
'All speeder units weve just encountered Imp scout walkers and Ties be careful'

As the speeders all head down the highway a speeder gets blasted into oblivion sending parts and bodies flying

'Damn Interceptors,Sergeant can you get a lock on the leader,they're gonna be too quick to target manually'

'All speeders dont drive straight keep moving different directions and those Interceptors will have trouble getting you'

The other units reply 'Yes,sir'

[Cassus Fett]

"He is too fast, keep going" *Galor tries endless to hit the interceptor* Come on *Suddenly, he gets a hit, detroying the lead Intercepter* "Got it, but there two more out there

'Good shot Sergeant, theres a roadblock ahead'
The speeder comes up to the roadblock with five stormtroopers behind it with their blasters aimed at the oncoming speeders.
All of a sudden one of the Tie interceptors explodes with an X wing fighter squadron chasing down the other while more Ties are seen heading towards them.
'Looks like someones alerted the Imps,it looks like were in for a long night'
'Sergeant target the roadblock,shooters take out the stormies were gonna go right through them'

OOC:To give all the players more to do because some of you are in different time zones im gonna assign(sometimes) small squads for you to command when we take a mission.The player must be ranked corporal or above to command a small squad of Ensigns.Anybody with any suggestions let me know.

Corporal Gasacar(Vehicle specialist)-You will work with Alpha and sometimes on your own.

Corporal Wallace and Corporal Vestair(Sniper)-You will usually work on your own

I hope this way everybody gets something to do without worrying about when they post etc

Col Anjar sneaks around the first guard and hides behind a log.He finds a rock and throws it behind the log alerting the stormtrooper.As the stormtrooper heads over to look around the log the Colonel grabs and pulls the stormtrooper down inserting his vibroblade through the chest plate killing him immediately.The Colonel waits for the Sergeant to take out the second trooper.

Colonel gets on comlink
*whispers*'Sneak down to my position and get ready to place those charges'

The other trooper wondering what happened to the other starts to head over

*joal runs down to join the colonel* i'm all set, sir, just let me know when to go

'Just waiting for the Sergeant to do some handy work on that trooper over there,get on the comlink and request updates on all units positions'

[Cassus Fett]

*Galor jumps out and snaps the troopers neck before heading back to the Col.*

"Well that deals with him"

*comm* I want an update on all units positions

'Right,Joal get those explosives planted,Sergeant sneak around and try to find another entry point'

*joal runs back* planted and ready to go, just tell me when

Marc's speeder immediately came to a stop behind a bush. He sees his other mates ducking.

"Sorry for arriving late, Colonel. I was just watching your backs when I lost you. Too many explosions, but Im alright."

He joined the other to wait for the explosion.

"Any damaged vehicles?"

*comm* Sgt Khan to Colonel Anjar. The door is sealed tight we need to blow it open

'Im right here Sergeant,Marc come across any good info'

'Lets get these doors open'

Col Anjar hides behind a bush waiting for the doors to be blown

*joal walks up to the doors and plants a charge* we ready?

'Right men,GO GO GO
Col Anjar takes the lead and runs into the hanger where Tie Fighters and a Lambda shuttle sit.A squad of stormtroopers(8) are waiting with blasters ready.

'Take cover'

Col Anjar dives behind a large canister and opens fire taking down a stormtrooper

[Kapit]

*joal runs into the hangar, his blaster taking down a stormie. he dives behind a container of soemthing and yells* we've got two on the left and four on the right!

Col Anjar sees the 2 on the left and gets out a frag grenade
'Fire in the hole'
Col Anjar lobs the grenade and makes short work of the 2 stormtroopers

[Kapit]

*joal goes around the other side of the container and blasts one of the other troopers, but has to dive back when the other two spot him*

In between the firefight between the squad and the remaining stormtroopers a huge crashing sound comes from a giant container that is stored in the far side of the hanger.
The stormtroopers turn around ignoring the fact that they are being fired upon and look at the container,all of a sudden a huge Rancor smashes through grabbing one of the stormtroopers

Col Anjar-'What the hell do we do now'

The other stormtroopers run off

'We need to complete this mission,any suggestions?'

[Kapit]

i have some remote explosives, but i have no idea where they could go other than its mouth

[darth scourge]

'Well blasters would be just an irritation,could you get close to its mouth though'

are you kidding me?! that's like shooting myself in the head! there's no way i could just walk up to the rancor and put these in its mouth! any ideas?

[darth scourge]

'Well have to try move around it,hang on if we can get it into the interior of the base it could make our job a bit easier but we'll have to blow a big hole in the wall for it to get through.'

'Joal,we'll try to lure it over here,when you get a chance, dash over and charge the wall then hide'

Col Anjar climbs onto 1 of the frames next to a Tie fighter and shouts
'Hey get your ass over here'

The Rancor starts to move through the hanger towards the Colonel.The Colonel then jumps down and runs behind the Lambda shuttle.

*getting on top of a TIE fighter* good idea sir, perfect height

*yelling to the rancor* hey! get over here! i got food!

Upon seeing the rancor, Marc continuously fired at the creature but it won't budge.

"Too tough hides!"

He saw their colonel running to the shuttle. He decided to cover him. He run outside and activated the speeder's engines. It roared down to the hangar and unto the monstrous creature. Coming under the legs he threw his C-22 grenade.

"You're free to do want you want to do with him sir!" shouted Marc to the colonel as his speeder speed away.

The Rancor fell down on the ground,it didnt look dead,just stunned.
'Right unit regroup,we dont want to be around when this thing wakes up,Sergeant you ok you've been a bit quiet lately.Joal for your bravery your now a Corporal.I tend not to have as many Ensigns in my unit,were the Elite unit ok so dont let me down.All in arrowhead formation were going into the heart of the base to destroy the control room.Sergeant you take the lead,Joal the rear the rest of you to the left and right.'

[Kapit]

*joal smiles* thank you sir!

*as they're leaving he plants a smal amount of explosives on the rancor, just to be sure*

As the unit head into the interior of the base,they see dead bodies of the Infiltrator unit that was here before.There was no blood but there was severed limbs all over the place.

'What do you think happened here'

[Kapit]

looks like somone's been running around with a really hot vibroblade

"Nothing is wrong sir" *Sgt Khan replied holding his side*

'Thats good Sergeant'

'Didnt those ancient lightsabers leave no blood when they severed body parts'
'Sergeant get on the comlink and try to find out what happened here'

After the Colonel gave his orders he looks at what is the control building.The doors are blocked with debris

'Looks like were not the only ones here that wants to do the Imps,we'll have to go up the sides and blow a hole in the roof it aint as reinforced as the walls.When were up Joal put a charge on the roof,Sergeant when its blown lob a couple of frags in and take the lead killing any stormies or officers and well lower the shield that protects the sea facility no problem'

'Right team get your hook launchers out'

The Colonel ascends up the side of the building when he hears a roar come from out of nowhere

'Better hurry lads'

[Cassus Fett]

*Sgt Galor quickly follows Anjar*

"Hurry up men"

As the team reach the top of the building another Rancor is seen wandering over towards the team

'Ha,cant get us now can ya,feel free to target practice on it,1st one to make it yelp gets 250 credits'

The Col searches the roof for a weak point

*joal tosses some explosives at the rancor. they bounce of its face and he hits the detonation button* are rancors able to get plastic surgery?

*Sgt Khan arms his Mandalorian Heavy Repeater and opens fire on the rancor*

"i dont surpose they can" *laughs*

'Joal get over here Ive found a spot to blow'

*The rancor opens its mouth. Dake opens fire on the rancor as Joal tosses a grenade in its both*

*The rancor hits the floor*

"Its dead" *turns to Joal* "i expect half the money" *chuckles*

'Did I say target practice with explosives,ha doesnt count,drinks are on me when we finish our mission'

'Joal you done the charge yet?'

While waitnig for the roof to blow the Col. maintains his weapons and gear ready for what they are about to encounter.In the distance a squadron of Tie fighters are seen heading towards the base

'Looks like they're gonna try to bomb us,were better get inside'

[darth scourge]

As the charge explodes a huge hole in hte roof is formed

'Right men GoGoGo'

Col Anjar readies his weapon

[Commander Zero]

Marc gets up from his speeder, follows his comrades, and joins them in killing the rancor.

'Right men GoGoGo'

Marc rushed inside as soon the roof blows.

*KABOOM!*

[darth scourge]

As the team dropped into the hole they were stunned to see that there was no one in there.

'Theres something strange going on here,first theres no one in sight,second we've got damn rancors running around'

As the group were chatting a huge Sith war droid smashes through the wall

'Oh crap'

Colonel Anjar opens fire

"Take it out"

Col.Anjar blasts away at the Sith war droid causing a nothing but a little scratch on its plating.The war droid turns and focuses on the team firing a missile in their direction.

'Take cover'

[Cassus Fett]

*Sgt Khan took cover*

'The missile smashed through the ceiling above the team bringing bit of rubble down onto them.

'Now its gonna get' Col.Anjar said as he was wiping dust off his uniform

The missile exploded above them.

"What's that?!"

[darth scourge]

'Hell knows' Col Anjar replied as he fired another shot blasting the war droid.

Outside the window a large battalion of stormtrooper were seen unloading from a transport.

'Oh great a hundred stormies come on guys we better make our way out of here and back to the RV point.'

OOC:Its about when the Rebel alliance formed the specforce division which consists of specialised units like pathfinders,infiltrators and more.This campaign is about a specforce unit that specialises in urban warfare.The urban guerilla unit have been sent on a mission but things are going horribly wrong and are retreating back to the RV point.
If you want to join just post a character,reinforcements are always arriving so your character can just appear anytime.The alliance have female soldiers aswell.
