Hey everybody! This thread is where you can help everyone get to know your RPG character. All you need to do is post a drawing/photo of your character (kids, remember to ask before posting any photos!) and perhaps a little bit of your character's background. Here are the "Sherlock Holmes" and "Watson" of my fan fic "A Killer Among Us"... a serial murder mystery set in the nights of lower Coruscant.

Palek Kane, a former Jedi padawan who through circumstances wound up dropping out of the order, drowns his sorrows nightly in the Outlander club. But finds himself drawn into a mysterious killing spree... Someone is killing off humans in the redlight districts. Soon, past loyalties are tested as he must trust his instincts and previous training in the force to solve the crime before more die.

It's the banner I made for "Trial Under the Suns", my new fan fic up to chapter three now!

I decided to share how I made it for those who are into this type of thing... the fonts are starwars fonts that can be downloaded several places on the net (do a google search "Star Wars fonts"). The suns are clearly the Tatooine suns from the movie itself, a still shot I found online... the figure is actually MACE WINDU though altered slightly to represent Jared Finn, my padawn hero in the story... it's a high shot of Mace from behind, during the scene where the Clone Gunships were rescuing the Jedi in the arena at Geonosius. I cut him out, shadowed his form, and created a new lightsaber. The ground, shadows and wispy sand were created with brush tools. The whole thing was done in Photoshop.

I wanted to create the feeling of this lone Jedi in the middle of the desert wastlands, a Jedi Gunslinger if you will, and if you follow the story, you'll see it's very much an adventure in the spirit of the classic Western... the Good, The Bad, and the Jedi.

Anyway... it was fun. Hope you like... and hope you like the fan fic to go with it style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

Bumping this thread... more people post if they have something... if you don't... check this out... you can pick from some templates and create your own heroes. I used it to create Kane and Remy... two characters in my fanfic: A Killer Among Us.

They will be appearing together soon in a new trilogy of stories called "The Dark Fold Trilogy" the first chapter of which is called "Bloodlines". They follow the events of A Killer Among Us and tell a unique story of mystery, action, and intrigue taking place in Coruscant during the Clone Wars.

Background:Dominic was an ordinary Jedi trainee in Yavin and he really didnt seem to stand out that much but when he was slashen in the face during training he lost all his vision. Instead of being given a robotic replace ment he learnt to cope by seeing throught the force. Dominic soon showed alot more potential. He had a great perseption of character and life he seemed to see things in people that others couldnt see. Dominic soon became a Jedi knight and started teaching the trainees. Master Skywalker sent him to Dathomir to help with schooling.

I'm sure they do... I'm not knocking them... I'm saying on my computers it comes out really dark for some reason and I can only make out a hutt on the left and possibly a Twi-Lek... there appear to be some lightsabers but I can tell if someone is fighting or not.

It's not your pic... I'm just saying I can't see it.

That's what I figured, but I was just wondering why it would do that.

On the banner, it might just be the effects I used, I purposely made it darker, and used a wind effect.

But you know what, it could be your connection.

Appearance: very pale skin, strikingly green eyes, and a few pale "freckles" on her nose. Textured red hair reaches to her lower back. She stands at a short 5'2" on her best days, on her worst, 5'1". She is very attractive, yet not...how you say gorgeous.

History: Born Earsina Lichella Averroés to Politicians Kallh and Eliezielle Averroés on the planet Corellia, she led a rather modest childhood. Her parents' earlier careers as politicians greatly influenced her decisions as to how she would live. She entered Politics School at the age of 8, and studied until she was 11, it was then that she was offered a spot in the Legislative Youth Program. In this program, she met Padmé Amidala Naberrie, a girl of her age who became her good friend. When she was 15, she was offered an apprenticeship to the senator from Corellia at that time, Senator Juto. When she was 18, Senator Juto resigned from his position, and requested that she take over for him. Now in her second year as Senator Averroés, Earsina has learned great responsibility for her people and ideas.

behold - its Dimin Idumae
hes is from the new jedi order era.
he was a jedi but he began to see the force in an unorthodox fashion (to him there is no dark or light, the force is nothing but a tool) and was summarily sent out of the order. now hes an amoral antagonist in one of the star wars rpgs im helping to host. hes not really bad, sometimes he even helps the good guys out against the yuuzhan vong, but hes completely self centered. nobody knows what species he is. his former master was kyp durron, who has since kept their student-master relationship under wraps. he uses two short lightsabers (safety blades as they are called) and has a long standing grudge against the solo twins and their friends. (the reason for which i have yet to reveal...)

Personality: Very loyal and gentle to those he loves, although Chiraki can do Very Bad Things to his enemies. Chiraki's sarcasm can be biting if he is pissed off.

History: Chiraki is the eldest son of of a Demon Lord of Hell and an Angel of Heaven. Chiraki's mother was killed when he was born. He never knew his mother was an angel, although suspected it because his wings were feathered like that of an angel, instead of bat-like, like a normal demon. When Chiraki was eight years old, he met another angel locked ina room in his fathers house. She was pregnant with Chiraki's younger brother and sister. She told Chiraki about his mother (Her sister) and he became very upset, leaving her in the room, never to see her again. Despite of hating angels and anything to do with them (He hated himself, people), he loved his brother, Tosaki, and sister, Alaki more than anything else. Chiraki faught for a while in the war against the angels before becoming my muse and was later joined by his siblings and seventeen other muses. He married Amethyst's muse Sryn (Yeah, Chiraki's gay).

More background info: Master Zeroth saved young Qu Rahn from the cluches of Vader and his army. Much the same as Master Yoda saved the young skywalker twins, Master Zeroth took Qu Rahn to the Outer Rims. Away from the Empire. Here are the only known pics of them. (twenty years after). Master Zeroth, teaches young Qu Rahn the ways of the Old Jedi order, unknown to Jedi Luke Skywalker, is their existence.

Y'know, there's an actual character in the Dark Forces saga named Qu Rhan, he was a mentor to Kyle Katarn, as well as Kyle's father Morgan.

Yes.. i think that's where i got the name.. it came too me, and i was like man that's a kick ass name.. so yea.. !!! I looked on star wars.com too see if anyone had it.. but they didn't have it on their databank! so yea.. i claimed it i guess!

BACKGROUND:
Jayl was once one of the savage-like Tusken Raiders on Tatooine.
He was known as a great hunter and fighter by all Tusken Raider clans.

One evening, Jayl was out hunting when he heard battle cries,
and voices shouting in pain.
He returned quickly to his camp to find all the raiders dead,
and his prisoner had been taken.
He had heard the noise of a motor and ran to check it out
and saw the shadow of a young man with a long robe carrying what
looked like a body on a swoop bike.

Jayl began to travel thereafter, trying to find another clan to join.
He had found one on the outskirts of Mos Eisley, and stayed there
for many years.

In those years, he had leaved in peace... until a young boy and
a droid appeared in a landspeeder.
Using his sniper rifle, he intended to kill the boy then and there,
but one of his fellow clan members caught him before he could
and told him that it wasn't the right time.

Soon after, they had pounced on the boy and had pulled
apart the gold droid. They were about to take the landspeeder
when the noise of a Krayt Dragon was heard over a large hill.
They ran back to there caln to get more raiders to go and hunt
down the fearful dragon. But they had no luck as they found the
boy and the droid gone, as wells as the landspeeder, and
no trace of a Krayt Dragon anywhere.

A couple years later, Jayl felt that he didn't
belong in the Tusken Raider clan any longer.
He left in search of something new.

He began studying the feared Bounty Hunters
of the galaxy, and decided to put his skills
to use and became a Free-lance Bounty Hunter.

Jayl was good at fixing things.
In one of Mos Eisley's junk areas, Jayl found
an old Imperial Shuttle and repaired it.
He later called it the Raider

Okay, stupid question:

What is "Hero Machine"?

Click on the logo:

You can create a Super-hero, a Fantasy character, or a Sports character.
"Super-hero" allows you to have blasters and lightsabers. Along with better
outfits.
When you click on "Super-hero" a list will show with these choices:
Blaster
Brick
M-artist

Blaster gives you a lot of choices for weapons and clothing.
Brick makes your character huge like the Hulk.
M-artist... I have no idea.

BUT, after you click Blaster, a new selection will show with
Human or Humanoid.
Click on Human for a female, and Humanoid for a male.
For some reason the males have more choices in clothing and equippment.

Fantasy allows you to make a Castle-time, or Dungeons & Dragons type character.

You will need Flash Player 4 though.

Another helpful tip:
When you are done your character and want to save it,
press the button on your keyboard labeled "Print Screen" or "Prnt Scrn".
A window will appear with some words. Click on "Close" then open up
whatever picture service you have (Microsoft Paint, etc.) that click on
"Paste". A picture should appear of your entire computer screen.
Cut out your character and paste it on a new paint file. Then save as
a JPEG.
