I understand exactly what you're saying. And to add to that, when it comes to matters of love I'm the most shy guy in the galaxy. All I can say is just try to build a good friendship with her. I know, it can be pretty hard not to say dumb things sometimes (especially around someone you like), but I've found (really!!) that the right things to say will come to you naturally.

i have a problem. i'm unmotivated and chronically procrastinate. all i do is watch movies and waste time online. i haven't even been reading any books in the past week. what should i do?

i'm not happy squandering all my time away. i mean, i'm twenty and i'm still living off my parents. i'm taking one college course at the moment and i work part time at a grocery store. financial success isn't really an ambition of mine, but my parents won't let me live off of them forever.

Dear Bodhisattva Yoda,
I would suggest thinking seriously about what you want to do with your life. It's good that you're taking college courses already ... colleges generally have a core curriculum requirement. I'm not motivated by financial success, either. I am a music major, and while my mom and dad have accepted it, they don't feel it's the right path for me. Lately, events have surfaced in my life that have forced me to take a "one day at a time" approach to things. I would suggest doing the same. Just keep doing what you're doing, and eventually something will happen.
