Having recently finished Destinys Way and thinking that this is probably the best NJO book released so far, its great to see them fighting back and this new Galactic Alliance sounds interesting!

I am now thinking about how the story arc will conclude and what will happen in the next book.

Does anyone have any ideas about whats going to happen and who this Stover charachter is??

First of all, i think that the Insiders are going to be some how incorporated into the new gov't, and what is this Stover character your talking about, any sure info would be great

I read on a fan site somwhere that a character called Stover would appear in the last few books. Wasn't Stover though the name of one of the NJO authours?

yes, but i think you heard that there would be two old characters but new to NJO in upcoming books. from what i hear, they will be Boba Fett, and Dash Rendar

Dash Rendar - why would a two-bit temporary, replacement for Han show up?

Boba Fett - I really hope he's not involved. I don't see any realisitic way he could be an asset to the story.

Why would you want to see an end to the Solo/Fett feud? It's like seeing the Sith and Jedi sitting down, having tea and discussing their problems without cutting each other to little, itty bitty pieces.

That's the whole concept behind the NJO. Expect the unexpected. I like the idea of Dash and Boba. Who better to help the Solos than an old enemy whos fued means nothing now that the empire is gone and this new threat has evolved.

But *apparently* the old mayor in VP was Boba Fett. Man, I hate that theory.

I don't want to see Boba with Han. It would wreck his character.

Dash was, and is, a Han Solo replacement for SotE while the latter was in carbonite. That's all. He's a 2 bit character. I have zero interest in him. He should have stayed dead, in my opinion.

Dash never actually died. Just disappeared and thought dead.

What do you mean about fett being mayor in VP? I dont think i know that.

He was dead at the time SotE was released. He was brought back to like, books wise, saying he escaped and disappeared as he didn't want to be with the rebellion. I think he should have died.

There was a stupid rumour that the old man who killed himself in VP on Seripidal was Boba Fett. I don't think it holds any weight personally.

I've never heard that rumor, thank god. It sounds dumb to me.

In the book it never said he was "oficially dead". In the N64 Game for SotE, if you beat the game on medium difficulty or better, you found out what happened to Dash. Ther was also a comic book sequel to SotE, can't remember the name now, but in the end Dash was there.

That would be Shadows of the Empire: Evolution.

In any case, the storyline involving Dash Rendar and Boba Fett metioned by jedisaber is just a rumor. According to LFL representatives, this information is inaccurate as of the last draft of the Force Heretic books they received.

I sure hope it's just a rumor. I don't see any point in Dash's return. He was a boring stereotype. I don't want to see him come back.
