Moving Avatars

I think these are soooo lame and weak. i think more is shown and less annoying when we use just pictures rather then quick action scenes from the movies

Well, the moving avatars were fun when only one or two people had one,... now, everybody has one,...

But I like them and think they are pretty cool. Gives a little insight into everyone's favorite scene of the movies.

Plus, It makes looking at the pictures a little moer interesting.

To each his own I think they are cool and like another member said they show which was a persons favorite scene its an extension of that members personality,so no one should knock someone else for having one or not having one.Variety is the spice of life.The samething could be said about the lightsabers that some of you have but no one has even said anything about that ,well except for me anywho I think those are cool as well and it dosen't matter to me how many folks get those,its just something diffrent,which makes this site even more cool.

I don't understand why people have a problem with the avatars. I think they're cool, and it's fun to see what scenes people picked.

Personally (and I know there are a lot of people who agree with me) I think the moving avatars are a lot less annoying than people who don't know how to capitalize, spell, or use the comma.

Well i'm the one responsible for this stuff and i'm glad that there are more of you that like them than people who hate them, Martini i don't get how they can be lame or weak but that's your opinion and i respect it, but why did you start a poll if you hate them?. I just think that it gives people a bigger choice on what they want, that's why i do them, no one forces anyone to get one, it's everyone's choice.

I agree with Isomorph, they reflect an aspect of the poster's personality and they add character to the boards.

I really don't care except when they are pushing the 100kb limit on avatars when I'm on my dialup connection at home. Then I find them pretty annoying.
