I am totally into Dragonball Z right now. Does anyone know of a specific site with episode summaries for DBZ from beginning to end?

Oh yeah, this can be the Dragonball Saga thread if anyone is interested in discussing these cartoons.

Gates, this site has episode guides up till somewhere round the Mid-Majinbuu saga but you'll have to do some digging to find the section, any way here it is (http://www.ytv.com).

However, I have already read episode summaries up to that point. I want to read about the Kid Buu episodes. It seems like most of the sites with episode guides have them up to mid-Majin Buu saga. BTW, the last 4 shows on their episode guide will be coming on Cartoon Network next week.

kewlstuff Moo is really into Dragonball Z at the mo. He's kinda got me interested in it a bit. I really want to see how the Majinn Buu saga concludes. Apparantly he ends up fighting Gohun or something.

Justin, I think it's basically to separate the seasons/episodes. In Dragonball and Sailor Moon, there were "endings" after the 1st round, so to differentiate they added the letter at the end. I don't know exactly what the letters stand for.

Also, like on Sailor Moon, after the 1st season, they got new powers. In Dragonball, Goku is a kid and in Dragonball Z he's grown.

At least, that's my theory....lol

Thank god this didn't make it into the anime thread (http://www.galacticsenate.com/index.php?act=ST&f=19&t=1611&st=50) because I don't classify DBZ as anime.

But anywho - you guys might want to check out the discussion over there too, as it does talk about some *cough* quality *cough* animated series style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

I discovered DBZ around the end of my first week in hospital earlier this year (as I was coming out of the morphine haze) and have never looked back!!!

Yeah Gohan!!!

I think the GT stands for "generation two" but that's just speculation that's been floating around.

The Z stands for "zippidee doo da". style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif No seriously, think about it; Bibidi, Babidi, Buu... Hehe

Regardless if DBZ is considered real anime or not, it's still a damn cool cartoon! I suppose the movies are more anime than the American translations for the series. They are awesome, at least some of them...

I place DBZ in a 1st place tie with The Transformers and He-Man as the best cartoon ever. I didn't start watching till the Android saga, but since then I've been hooked.

I have a DBZ sction on my website, but not much is up...yet. But I have some pics and wavs already to be posted.

Question. Which attack do you like better, Kamehameha or the Final Flash?

Yea Ninja scrolls can get a bit heavy. Still there isn't too much to choose from in the Blockbuster near us.

Rusty said he heard a rumor that basic cable was trying to set up an anime channel. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

I like Kamehameha, because its sounds funny when they say it, especially if you play Dragonball Z Buidkon (sp?) on the PS2

I really don't know what happened because I recorded it, but I did get bits and pieces. Kabito-Kai was giving another history of how Majin Buu's original form is Kid Buu. He absorbed some Kai's from long ago and turned into Fat Buu (like we first see him). The reason he was so playful was because he had the goodness of the Kais in his being. Now that he is back to his original form (Kid Buu) he is pure evil! I think he destroyed the Earth and killed EVERYBODY! Now he's looking for Gooku, Vegeta, Kabito-Kai, and the others (Hercule, Dende, etc.). We got to get a look at some other Kais before Buu killed (absorbed) them.

The Final Flash looks amazing on DBZ: Budokai. It was a little too easy though. I beat the entire game and all the bonuses in about 2 days. Anyone else play it?

I love Vegeta, he's definitely my favorite character. I also really like Piccolo, I can't stand Goku and Gohan, there always to cheery.

I saw abit of a show with a kid witha tail.............nothing really happened. t was good tho. Then I saw another show going by the same name with a Z at teh end....................................in that I think it was the same kid but he was an adult witha kid and no tail who was being helped by the adult of the baddy in the first film........................can some 1 explain what the hell dragonball is!

A Japanese animated series. The kid you see in Dragonball is Goku, dragonall lasted for 5 seasons and had 4 special movies to go along with it.
In Dragonball Z Goku is also the main character and this show lasted 7 seasons and had 14 special movies to go with it.
Then there is also Dragonball GT whaich lasted 3 seasons and had 1 special movie to go with it.

I can't believe you haven't heard of it before, it's arguably the most popular japanese anime of all time.

i used to watch to watch it, i was REALLY into it too. after DBZ ended in america i stopped watching it, and i haven't gone back....

i used to dig super saiyan 4, that looked pretty sweet.....vegeta was pretty cool, had a nifty voice, but he was a prick. i think my fave character was gohan BEFORE he got old, especially during the cell games. that kid kicked some major a$$

trunks was pretty freakin sweet too, i liked the fact that he fought with a sword too

Yeah after DBZ there was a long time before they started airing DBGT. I think they only started last year here in Canada. I was a huge fan of DBZ and i've only seen like 20 episodes of DBGT.

I've seen most of DB, DBZ, and none of DBGT. I don't know why I haven't gotten into it. Maybe it was because Cartoon Network didn't show GT everyday like they did for DB and DBZ. DBGT was on only on Fridays for a long time. I just kept missing it.

plus the cartoonetwork ruined them with there horrible edits.I only enjoy the original Japanese versions with english subtitles.Vegeta is definitely my favorite from that series.

I didn't like DBGT that much. For me I love DBZ and that is basically it. I loved Vegeta and Piccolo mainly. I absolutely couldn't stand Gohan. I couldn't stand him.

i liked gohan the most in his fight against cell, that's it. anytime before and after that, no way

and streen, there's a movie of future trunk's story, what happens to the world, how gohan dies, and when/why he leaves for the future

(oh yeah, i respected gohan in that movie too)
