Starwarz.com Celebration III Booth?

I'm submitting an application for Starwarz.com to get a booth at C3. I would love to have a presence there. Will we get it? No idea but I'm going to try. Watch this space for info.

If we do get it, it's going to be a great time!

I assumed you'd have a booth anyway, always thought so till now, because you had a table (does that count as a booth) at the last Celebration. Was that your table with Nalina at your side, or was that Nalina's table?

i was with nalini last time but it was like work.
this time it's just us having fun...and i'm sure there will be many after hours parties...

Well, it's not looking so good as of now. I tried my best and the mods helped me out but Lucasfilm was not impressed. Obviously I don't do enough for the community according to them and the insinuation in their last email was that I'm just going to use this as a self-promoting table with no regards to the fans. So take that as you will but I wouldn't expect a Starwarz.com presence at this show.

I need some help - can you tell me where I can find HIGH RESOLUTION pictures of SW Planets? This is for the backdrop to our C3 booth if we get it. I'm going to have a HUGE standup of the main page of starwarz.com behind us - i mean 6ft wide by 8 or 9 ft tall - and they can't use a screenshot of the site because the res is too low. All those planet pics i have are small - I might try to rescan a few tonight but i have to find where I got them style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Well, it's been a few weeks and no reply as of yet. I'm starting to get a weird vibe that we're just going to be ignored until it's too late and there are no spaces left. This is very disconcerting. I never even got a confirmation email saying "I got your email and package in the mail - will be in touch." Nothing.

What would you guys think were you me?

It's been too long with no response now. This is unprofessional, IMO.
I mean, at least say, yes we have your stuff...stand by. I'm going to need as much time as possible to print up stuff and arrange the prizes for the giveaways. I'm not going through all that trouble until I know we have the table.

Bone, they might have gotten your application and others mixed up and lost. It wouldn't be the first time stuff is misplaced before big events. Have you tried calling or emailing to confirm with them that they did or didn't recieve your app.? I don't know if you mentioned doing that before.

Lucas' companies seem to have problems like this a lot. It's very annoying. I still haven't receieved my Fan Club Subscription that I sent in before Christmas.

That's not actually Lucasfilm/LucasArts at all. They've contracted out to Paizo Publishing for the SW Insider and the fan club. And yes, it does take a long time for you to get your first issue and all the other stuff.

Actually IDG took over the publication of the Insider about 6 mos ago, and LFL brought the Fan Club management in House when Paizo's contract expired.
