<span style="color:blue">I'm on cable internet. I could never go back to a dial-up! We have DSL at work. I find it's just as good as the cable internet. We used to have dial-up at work. (I work in the boonies!) I wouldn't go online at work because I couldn't stand waiting for something to load.

Right now I need to get a new processor for my home computer. It's getting kind of slow. </span>

I think that where was directed at me. I live in Eastern Ky. My hometown has only 1000 people and the entire county has only 13,000. Thankfully, we're considered under-priviledged enough that the government puts in things like DSL with little cost to the population; otherwise,we'd never get it.

Well where I live we have dial up which is costing us $18.00 a month, and DSl costs $60 for 1.5MBPS both ways.

Here on the East coast I have DSL at 5Mbps up and down. For an additional $10 I could get 10Mbps
