Star Wars: Imperial Regiment

BRIEF:
Star Wars: Imperial Regiment is an RPG inspired by the high-rated RPGs that are filling the Star Wars: Role-Playing Games section of GalacticSenate.com.
The Jedi Academy, New Jedi Order: Starfighter, The Bounty Hunter’s Guild, the “We are the Sith” thread, and many more, RPGs are among the most popular games of this website, and it is hopeful that Imperial Regiment will join into the popularity.

The basis for this game is simple.
Role-play as an Imperial officer of either the Aerial Brigade, or the Ground Forces (your choice).
Post your character statistics in the “Imperial Regiment: Character Bio and Discussion” thread within the Role-Playing forum (see thread for example Character bio). When doing your character’s statistics, at the top of the post, write which force you wish to join (Aerial Brigade or Ground Forces)
TIE pilots will be given ranks (see below), while the Ground Forces (Stormtroopers) will be given ranks and codenames (example: TK-421)
Troopers can be called by their rank (example: Commander Drik) or by their codename (example: KY-642), or by their Squadron title and member number (example: the first person to join the Mist Squadron (see below) will be called Mist One (Mist 1), and so on, etc.)
Codenames will be sent to members via PM (Personal Message) and will be posted below.

The time period has not yet been decided… all that has been decided so far is that it is during the time when Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine are still alive.
When the time period has been decided, you will be informed.
And this RPG takes place at the Imperial Military Academy on the planet Carida.

Aerial Brigade- Information:
Members of the Aerial Brigade will be assigned to squadrons (via PM). Most of the squadrons have their own different ships.
(example: Avenger Squadron {see below} is a squadron of TIE Interceptors,
while Phantom Squadron is TIE Fighters)
Also, certain members in each squad will be given a “Bomber” (a.k.a. Bombard) license (you will be notified by PM) which gives you access to use TIE Bombers when needed. TIE pilots who have access to bombers will have the title “Bombardier Officer” next to they rank on the Member section below.
Any other questions can be sent to me by PM.

Ground Forces- Information:
The Ground Force is made up (like the Aerial Brigade) of different squadrons, which you will be assigned to via PM.
Within each squad, Stormtroopers begin with E-11 Blaster Rifles (regular Imperial blasters), and some will be awarded new weapons, such as a Golan Arms FC-1 Flechette weapon (seen in Jedi Outcast), or a Merr-Sonn PLX-2M Portable Missile cannon (also seen in Jedi Outcast) and much, much more.
Some members will also be given Sniper Rifles for special covert operations.
The Crimson Squadron (see below) is a "Special Ops" commando team of red-armored Stormtroopers. You may be assigned (temporarily) to this squadron by Major General Romar (my character) when stealthful and rescue missions are at hand.

The Ground Force also features TIE Crawlers, Imperial AT-ST Walkers, and Speeder Bikes (Stormtroopers can only pilot TIE Crawlers and AT-STs at the rank of Major and above)
When you wish to use one of these vehicles, PM the leader of your squadron for permission.
Squadron Leaders can use any vehicles at any time.

Squad Leaders and BOTs:
Each squadron will have a leader (which will be assigned to members of my choice), when the leading position is unfulfilled by a player, “BOT” characters will take that place.
BOTs may be role-played by anyone while you are role-playing your character:
EXAMPLE:
Major Jharad (BOT) is the leading Stormtrooper of the Mist Squadron. And Major General Romar is my character.
Major General Romar peeked around the corner and fired a few shots. Behind him, Major Jharad crept up beside him.
“Ideas, major?” Romar asked.
“Regroup, and press on,” Jharad replied. Jharad signaled for the rest of the squad team and than took them into a deadly charge into the Rebel blockade down the hall.
Romar watched a moment, than followed.

Understand? BOTs can be role-played, but only when you are in physical or communicational contact with them. (BOT characters will have an asterisk * next to their names)

Other Notes for the Aerial Brigade and Ground Forces:
When you reach the rank of Colonel, you have the ability to switch squadrons OR switch from Aerial Brigade to Ground Forces (or the other way around) at anytime. If you think you will be doing it frequently, you will be assigned onto the Converting Members list in the MEMBERS section below. PM me when you want to do so and we will work it out.

CLOSING:
I will be portraying the character Major General Romar (SK-264) who frequently switches between squadrons and the air and ground forces.

Ranks will be changed by myself when I see fit that you should be promoted (you will be informed by PM and it will be posted in the MEMBER and NEWS sections below)

Even though in the OFFICIAL Star Wars Galaxy, the Empire is racist and does not like aliens, I know most of you like to be non-human so we will let it pass in this RPG. Non-humans ARE allowed.

Most of the material in this RPG may and probably will not coincide with official Star Wars information. Please reframe from posting corrections unless they are really important. If they are, than PM me

CURRENT MISSION PROFILE:
The Scour For A Princess
PART I: "Mission to Ryloth & Tatooine"

The IMPERIAL REGIMENT was successful in chasing the Rebels
off the desolate planet of HOTH. However, the search for Skywalker
was in vain.

Imperial Officers have come to te conclusion that to find Skywalker,
they must find PRINCESS LEIA ORGANA, a political traitor to the Imperial Senate.
A search team has been formed and the Imperials are
scouting the barren worlds of RYLOTH and TATOOINE in hopes
of discovering the location of the Princess....


NEWS:
Imperial Regiment is back online. Unused squadrons have been eliminated.

Imperial Military Academy- The Great Hall, sunset.

The Great Hall of the Imperial academy was a sight to see.
Millions of officers dressed in their celebration uniforms stood,
saluting the head of the hall.
Hanging from the ceiling were large banners that displayed the
Imperial insignia with a crimson "X" that looked somewhat like
a blood splatter... the insignia Major General Romar had created himself for his branch of the empire.

Emperor Palpatine had given the Major General full control over
the Imperial Military Academy on Carida. Romar immediatly took pride
in himself, and never ceased to show off the gold medal that hung under his rank pin.

Major General Romar stood on the stage at the front of the hall, the bright spotlight causing his black uniform to appear almost gray.

"I have called for this meeting," Romar began, "in honor of a few new recruits that are finally being given their first ranks in a long line of Imperial ranks."
The Major General raised his arm, and in unison, the holo-screen behind flickered to life to show the picture of a dark-haird man.
"Lansk Droiu of Corellia," Romar began. The holo-picture changed into a younger man with dark-blonde hair. "Draak Marr of Coruscant..." the picture changed to a woman.
"Jaden Needa of Coruscant..." the picture changed to the nightmarish face of a noghri. "Korin of Honoghr..." the picture changed to a man.
"Joska Vevis of Corellian... and..." the picture changed again to another male.
"Soaa Cldet of Naboo..." the picture changed to that of a well known Imperial officer. "I'd like to welcome Lieutenant Commander Jak Lennox who has recently decided to join our regiment here on Carida... Everyone that I have spoken of, please come forward and take your place here upon the stage."

*joska walks up, slightly nervous being front of so many people*

Korin moved silently to the stage as directed by Major General Romar, he moved like smoke in the wind. Korin took his place on the stage next to a human male. Korin stood at attention waiting for the others to arrive.

Jaden slowly walks up to the stage with the rest and took her place on stage.

"When you're with the Empire as long as I have, this shouldn't scare you. I remember when I was a mere cadet at graduation. I was brilliant, but lacking social skills. Oh, yes..."

SD-228 Hear for duty. sir.

Stumbles behind SD-933 well walking to the stage showing a little hint of fear mumbles man after all the battles i was in nothing got me ready for this.

[Grand Admiral Thrawn]

Major General Romar smiled and nodded at each of the new members in turn as they took their places next to him.

A spindly, young officer approached Romar from behind, and the Major General turned to acknowledge him.
The young officer handed Romar a bundle of metal slates, and the Major General took them and returned his gaze to the first in line...
"Lansk Droiu... I award you the title Cadet, and it is my honor to assign you to the Rancor Squadron of the Aerial Brigade." Romar handed the young man one of the metal plaques with his name and the Major General's signature on it.
There was a loud uproar as the audience clapped for the new member.
Lansk stepped backward, allowing Romar to step toward the next member.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a very special member whom is joining our ranks... Jaden Needa, daughter of an Imperial icon, Captain Needa who lost his life fighting for the empire..." the crowd clapped in respect of the fallen officer. "Ms. Needa... it is with great honor that I award the rank of Ensign, and assign you to the Shadow Squadron of the Ground Forces." Romar handed her the plaque and once again the echoes of cheering and clapping filled the hall.
Needa stood back, and Major General Romar approached the next member.
Romar looked down into the two nightmarish eyes of the noghri who stood before him.
"And... as always a pleasure to make an acquaintance with a Noghri... Korin, it is with pleasure that I award you the rank of Ensign and assign you to the Shadow Squadron of the Ground Forces."
The crowd cheered for the noghri as Romar handed him the plaque.
"Joska Vevis, the professors have made a lot of comments about you... don't worry, they were good ones style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif ... It is with pleasure that I award you the rank of Ensign and assign you to the Shadow Squadron of the Ground Forces."
As Romar handed the man his plaque, the audience cheered and clapped.
"Soaa Cldet... it is with honor that I award you the rank of Ensign, and assign you to the Shadow Squadron of the Ground Forces."
Once again, another uproar filled the hall as Romar handed Soaa his plaque.
Finally, Romar came to the Lieutenant Commander.
"And last, but not least, I wish to welcome Lieutenant Commander Jak Lennox to our regiment. He has done much work for the empire, and we are honored to except him here. Lieutenant Commander Lennox, I assign you to the Avenger Squadron of the Aerial Brigade."
As the ceremony came to an end, the crowds stood, clapped and cheered.

Holding the Plaque losely in his hands, Korin watched the audience cheer and applaud, quickly the audience dispersed leaving the new recruits alone on the stage. Korin turned and looked at his fellow troopers. "All human, as to be expected for the Empire."
Korin turned and approached the one called Joska, offering his small hand Korin spoke in a calm gashtly tone.

"I am Korin, I am glad I will be serving with you as an Imperial Trooper."

As SD-228 stands on the stage he can not but help to think about a rumbor going around that the rebles are setting up base on a planet that was never on the charts called Hoth or some other planets and plan there next battle with the Empire.
Start to talk to SD-933.

GK-713 stood there on stage listening to evryone talk about the rumors. Excited about finally being apart of what her father did as she remebers as she grew up. Graduating from the acadmey and finally being apart of a squadron.
She turns to the others. It is nice to meet you guys and I wish you many lucks with future missions and getting rid of the Rebels.

[Grand Admiral Thrawn]

Major General Romar approached the group of new members.
"Welcome to the 'wonderful world' of the Empire," he said with a smile. "I assume you all want to celebrate tonight... and so you shall. Tomorrow begins your first mission, which there will be a briefing about tomorrow morning."

A young officer who stayed behind when the crowd had left approached the stage.
"Hello," he said, greeting each member in turn. "I am Lieutenant Karson Dragg of the Shadow Squadron, codename: KW-321, squadron title: Shadow C-2."
Dragg bowed his head slightly in respect. "But you may call me Karson off-duty." The lieutenant smiled.

"Lieutenant," Romar said, "Why don't you take the ensigns and the Lieutenant Commander to the Rec Room... I'm sure the service droids can assist you all with drinks of your choice."

"Yes, I'll do that," Karson replied. "Come on," he gestured, "It's your last night of 'freedom'. " The Lieutenant smiled, but got many crude expressions in return at his joke.

Ah yes I rember you farther GK-713 one of the best the empire had.

Korin followed Lieutenant Karson Dragg as he led the small group to the Rec room. It was a medium sized room,a small bar was positioned in the back of the room a service droid stood behind it, other small tables were scattered around. There was pleanty of space for the small group to mingle. Korin entered the rec room and walked over to the service driod.

"I'd like some water if you can."
The driod made some beeping noises and proceded to give Korin his water. With his water in hand Korin made for the others, "It would probably be best to celebrate now, since I may not get another chance." Korin though to himself.

"I am honored to meet you, General Romar. I've heard much about you from my uncle, Captain Lennox of the ISD Tyrant. Do you know him?"

[Grand Admiral Thrawn]

Karson walked briskly to the bar.
"I'll have a 'Death Star'," he said with a death-defying grin.

"What is your age, sir?" the short Robo-Bartender asked. The little droid was propped on top of the counter so that he would be almost eye-level with patrons.

"Ummmm... Thirty-two?" Karson lied.

The Robo-bartender shook its head knowingly.
"Sir, you know as well as I do that you are only Twenty-six, and you must exceed the age of Thirty-one to be able to have the Death Star drink."

Karson huffed. "Aw, c'mom... it's a special night!"

"If I may say so, sir," the droid began, "This is the same excuse you 'try' to use every time."

"Yeah but this is different-"

"So you always say," the droid cut him off.

Karson huffed again, this time in defeat. "Very well... a 'Bomber' than."

The Robo-Bartender obeyed and Karson grabbed the large tumbler off of the droid's serving tray.
Karson took a seat at one of the tables and propped his legs up on the table and leaned back.

Back at the stage, Major General Romar conversed with the Lieutenant Commander.


"Captain Lennox was a superior icon and inspiration to many young members..." Romar said. "Is your uncle still active?"

Yes, he was an honorable man. Thanks SD-228. I just hope to carry the name honorablely, too. As they walked to the Bar, Needa says I'll have a Bomber, too.

Lennox chuckles seeing the young ensign attempt to get a drink. "I'll have a Sullustan ale."

Gos up to the Robo-bartender for some drink.

Robo-bartender *Sir you too young for that drink* SD-228 makes some sourt of hand movment at the bartender like a wave Robo-bartender *yes sir right a way* man the things I pick up from my tralvels. drinks some blue milk.

"Travels? What travels? Don't you know what that is you did?"

Lieutenant Karson sipped down his strong 'Bomber', sat the
half empty tumbler on the table, and took a glance at the conversing Lieutenant Commander Lennox and Ensign Soaa.

He pulled his legs off of the table and leaned forward on the table.

"I've heard a few rumors about tomorrow's mission..." Karson said. "I overheard some of our (Shadow Squadron's) commanding officer, Commander Drik's words when he spoke with Major General Romar this morning... something about the Rebs attacking an Imperial Garrison near the Imperial Naval base on the planet Bestine...
"If that's true then we're gonna need ground troops and air troops..." Karson continued. "But we can handle it... with Commander Drik leading us, and Lieutenant Commander Lennox in the air... will crush those Rebs."
Karson took another sip of his 'Bomber'.

I used to be a misernery you know a one man army for hire and pick up some "tricks" that manly dealy with dead relgions.

[Rann]

"Yes but we shouldn't underestimate our oppenets. You need to always think that your oppenet is two steps ahead of you at all times."

Korin leaned back in his seat and took another sip of his water

" I agree, do not underestimate the rebels. They to have a few tricks and wouldn't think twice about it either." Needa says finishing up her drink.

Lieutenant Karson jumped to alert from his uncomfortable sleep at the table in the Rec Room.
"Geez, I slept this long?" Karson says, astonished. "Looks like Major General Romar is ready to hold the briefing about our first mission."
Karson flattened the wrinkles in his uniform and ran his fingers through
his dark hair to straighten it.
"C'mon, guys," Karson said, nudging some of the new members who were asleep at their tables. "Major General Romar may be a friendly leader, but he doesn't take well to members who are late to his briefings."

OOC: Okay, I know I said I didn't want to do "OOC"s, but this is important.
Because none of the other members are around, we most likely won't get to any missions until later. So the Briefing will appear to "drag" on until later today, but in the reality of the RPG, probably only a half-hour will have passed.
So your characters may talk to each other, but please try to keep them in the Briefing Room.


A loud "hum" echoed through the semi-large, circular chamber of the Briefing Room, signifying that the briefing was about to take place.

The tall form of Major General Romar marched into the front of the room holding his hands up for silence.
"I have called you all here because I have critical news about a Rebel attack... which is where our mission comes in."

*joska turns serious and sits down* finally, a mission....

Sits next to sd-933 and trys to talk to him.

Romar stepped aside, and the holo-screen behind him showed a picture of the planet Bestine.
"The Rebels have attacked an Imperial Garrison on the planet Bestine, about thirty-six miles from the Bestine Imperial Naval Base." The screen changed to show a clip from the battle.
"Why they have attacked so close to a major naval base, I do not know. As you can see in this clip, the Rebels have three Mon Calamari Planetary Assault Cruisers, and about six fighter squadrons in the air. We have also just recieved information that one of the Assault Cruisers has landed and is deploying ground units.
"The Imperial Naval Base has sent all the Imperial forces they could, but it isn't enough to fight off these Rebels," Romar continued. The screen showed a picture of four Imperial officer profiles. "Four of our best Imperial officers, Colonel Magdom, Major Renald, General Skaw, and Captain Loette, are trapped within the Garrison's main shuttle bay and need our assistance to help them escape..."

Lisens with intress and taking notes and julting down the Rebels postions. Humm...So far there is a major weakness in there formation the middle of there lines are weaker then the rest of the flanks if we can take over the middle of there lines we could break them in to two and win.

*joska shakes his head* i don't think that would work. that would require us to put our entire force right in the middle, and then their flanks could come and FLANK us, like they're supposed to. i think it would be better if we split our forces into three groups, and take them on all three fronts. we're better prepared than they are. *joska looks at soaa* they're not expecting something like this from us. they're used to seeing imperials work by force, not by intelligence. i suggest we fight on all fronts, and we can use air support to cover us and make a couple strafing runs down the rebel lines.

thats why we got the aretillery to bombard there left and right flinkes so they will reinforce thoes flinks and send in two small groups acting as soucts over there and then send the large army to the middle and bam before they know whats happens we win

i think getting our officers is something that might be better suited for a commando team. it seems a lot like things i've done in CorSec, where we had to get into some stronghold w/o alerting the guards. *joska looks around* i think we need a squad that can handle these sorts of operations.

"Select members will be chosen for the commando team, which is also known as the Crimson Squadron," said Major General Romar overhearing the conversation.
"I say select because we need a lot of troops to provide cover for the commando team." The screen flickered to an overhead view simulation of the battle zone.
"As you can see, the Rebel ground units have set up a perimeter around the main shuttle bay... however, we have found that about a mile from the battle zone is a sewer hole that leads to a tunnel about six meters below ground. The tunnel is large enough to fit a small team into. That's where the Crimson Squadron comes in."
The screen projected a simulation of the sewage tunnels.
"The commandos will navigate down these tunnels which lead straight into the Imperial Garrison's trash compactor. It's a dirty job, and I suggest you keep an eye out for the Dianoga creatures.
"The trash compactor is two stories under the main shuttle bay, your goal. You will have to stealthfully maneuver upward as there may already be Rebel commandos in the vicinity.
"I have already selected Major Jharad of the Mist Squadron to lead the commandos." Romar gestured with his hand and an officer clad in red Stormtrooper armor, but helmetless, stood and approached the front.
"Major General," Jharad said with a salute.
"Major Jharad, am I correct in assuming you have already chosen members for the Crimson Squad?" Romar asked.
"Yes, sir," the red Stormtrooper replied. Jharad turned to face the members.
"Ensign Vevis, Ensign Cldet, and Esign Korin of the Shadow Squadron, and Captain Carder of the Mist Squadron." Jharad stepped aside and the screen projected a profile of weapons.
"Each of you will be given Tenloss Disruptor Rifles. These rifles are among the best weaponry for stealth missions. Charging the gun to full is deadly. If the gun is charged, one hit against an enemy will disintegrate him on impact.
"Trip mines will also play a main part in our mission. As we navigate through the tunnels we will leave behind trip mines in case, however unlikely, Rebel troops discover our location and try to make a sneak attack from behind."

"Won't that destroy any possibilities of you getting out, sir?" Lieutenant Karson called from his seat at the back.

"Getting out of that way, yes," Jharad said with a nod.

"What other way is there, sir?" another officer called.

"The roof."

"The roof!?" many of the members said in unison.

"Yes, the roof," Jharad said. "That is where Major General Romar come in."

"Thank you, major," the Major General said. "The Aerial Brigade will provide air cover, hopefully enough to keep the Rebel fighters and Assault Cruisers busy.
I will be piloting an Imperial Lambda-class shuttle and I will wait on the roof for fifteen minutes... that's about how long it will take before the Rebels figure out what an Imperial Shuttle is doing, sitting on top of a building."

"Couldn't you just take the shuttle into the docking area where the officers are?" Karson asked.

"Doing that would risk the possibility of the Rebel fighters firing on the shuttle, but instead the lasers would most likely hit the interior of the shuttle bay and... kablooie."

"I can answer Ensign Vevis's questions, Major General," Jharad said stepping forward. "The mission must be completed within fourty-five minutes... we have recieved word that Rebel bombers are on their way, and once they get here they'll trash the place completely. Forty-five minutes is their ETA.
I expect it should take about thirty minutes to get through the sewers, should you have no trouble. Than it will probably take six or seven minutes to get up to the shuttle bay and rescue the officers. That leaves you eight minutes to get to the roof and load into the shuttle and depart.
"And as for the number designations, I will Crimson One, or C-1 if you prefer.
Captain Carder will be Crimson Two, or C-2. Esign Vevis, Crimson Three or C-3.
Ensign Cldet, Crimson Four or C-4. And Ensign Korin, Crimson Five or C-5."

"Remember, you are being assigned to the Crimson Squadron only temporarily," Major General Romar put in. "Once this mission is complete, you will be back with the Shadow Squadron."

"None taken," Romar said. "Imperial Intelligence is unscrambling Rebel transmissions that were intercepted. So far after the decoding of several transmissions, we know for a fact that at least three of the officers are alive. But Imperial Intelligence has yet to finish unscrambling the messages."


"Pardon me for asking, sir," came Lieutenant Commander Lennox's voice. "But what weapons will the TIE Interceptors carry?"

"That's my field," said a TIE officer standing and approaching the stage.

"Ah, thank you, Colonel Ternorr," Romar said backing away.

"The Avenger Squadron's interceptors will be equipped with the standard four laser cannons," Colonel Ternorr began, "but will also be supplied with concussion missiles and two extra lasers which our techteam has mounted onto to them."

it's still a recapture mission, but now we just get to do a couple extra things. first and foremost, though, are getting those officers out. if we can blow stuff up, wonderful! more fun! but we need those officers, and if stuff's gonna be blown up, best to leave it to the others, we have more important things to do.

"The Phantom Squadron will go after the first Assault Cruiser in an attempt to destroy it," Colonel Ternorr continued. "The Avenger Squadron will go after the Rebel fighters and keep them away from the shuttle bay. And the Eclipse Squadron will go after the second Assault Cruiser."


Another officer stood. "I have some input on the ground status," said Commander Drik.
"The ground troops will be supplied with E-11 Blaster Rifles and gas grenades. Our goal is to get inside the Rebel perimeter and push the Rebel forces outward, away from the shuttle bay. That's where the gas grenades come in.
"Pound as many as you can with the grenades and blast your way through the perimeter. Hopefully, they will be stunned long enough to be unaware of your movement."

"What kind of starships should we count on seeing there?" asked Lennox.

"Ah, yes, I almost forgot that," said Colonel Ternorr, slightly embarrised about his mistake. The holo-screen displayed pictures of Rebel fighters at the name Ternorr called out. "According to Imperial Intelligence, the Rebels are using three X-Wing squadrons, two A-Wing squadrons, and one B-Wing squadron. All fighters are said to be heavily armored and most of them are armed with concussion and heat-seeking missiles to accompany their fully charged lasers."
A picture of a Y-Wing appeared. "The mission must be completed before the Y-Wing squadron arrives. Each fighter is fully loaded with ion bombs, powerful enough to take out the main shuttle bay in a matter of seconds."

"Sir, would there happen to be stormtrooper armor suited for my race sir?" asked Korin.

Major Jharad stuck his two fingers in his mouth and gave an ear-piercing whistle.
Two officers entered the room carrying large metal crates. They set them on the floor and opened them to reveal the red armor of the Crimson Squadron stored within.
Both officers took turns handing out the armor to the commando members.
One of the officer's presented Korin with well-made armor that had been adjusted to fit the noghri trooper.

"I took the liberty of having this armor made especially for your kind, Mr. Korin," Jharad said with a nod. "If and when you return from this mission, you will find your locker has been filled with armor according to your build. I hope it fits well, Mr. Korin."


Romar stepped forward. "Any final questions, anyone before we leave?"

The Star Empire will also deploy our new modified Lambda-class shuttle, Crimson Claw, which is invisible to radar. The shuttle will carry the Crimson Squad to their destination and will drop them off and return to the Star Destroyer. Let's head out!"

Clanking echoed through the hull of the cruiser as it successfully landed in the Star Destroyer's belly. A large team of Reception Troopers greeted them as they exited the cruiser.
An officer stood between the two perfect lines of troopers, and Major General Romar exchanged handshakes with the officer.


"Admiral Trazar," Romar said.

"Welcome, Major General," Trazar said. Romar and the Admiral began walking away, side-by-side, while the rest of the team followed behind.

Upon the Star Destroyer's bridge:

Romar suddenly noticed that Trazar's expression was serious.
"Something wrong, Admiral?" Romar asked.

"Not for me, Major General... I was denied access to contact you... He said he wanted to do a 'surprise' inspection..." Trazar nodded behind Romar, and the Major General turned.
Halfway through his turn, he heard a strange noise... like amplified breathing.

Romar found himself face to face with the towering, black figure of Darth Vader.
Romar felt himself jump backwards a step in surprise.

"Lord Vader!" Romar said with a short bow. "I was unaware-"

"Yes," Darth Vader said, cutting off the Major General. "I planned it that way. Come with me, Major General."
Vader turned and began to walk off the bridge. Romar glanced at Trazar, as if silently asking for help, than sped forward to the dark lord's side.

"Call your troops to the main hanger bay, Major General, and I will begin my inspection..." Darth Vader said, darkly.

"I have heard countless comments about your organization, Major General," Vader said.

"Good ones I hope, m'lord," Romar said.

"Perhaps..." the dark lord replied. "I felt it necessary to take it upon myself to inspect your regiment... personally."

"Yes," Romar said, trying to keep up with the dark lord's long stride. "You are most welcome, lord Vader."

Nomas Johos stood at rigid academy attention, the highly polished black of his tie fighter uniform reflecting in the lights. He was quaking inside, the Dark Lord was even more intimidating up close.

Darth Vader walked up and down the long line of members.
The dark lord looked at Romar who followed behind.
"Do the members of your regiment often speak out of turn, Major General?" Vader said, glaring at Lennox.

"Sir, it is a privilege to have Lieutenant Commander Lennox here with us," Romar said. "He-"

"The Emperor would be most displeased if he knew the state of your crew, Major General..."

"Yes, sir..." Romar said slowly, his head sinking slightly. "We will try to do better, m'lord."

"I hope so, Major General..." Darth Vader said turning face-to-face with Romar.
"Or you will find yourself pinning the rank of Captain to your uniform."

"Yes... yes, m'lord."

Darth Vader began to walk away, Romar following at his side.
"Shall I prepare your ship, m'lord?" the Major General asked hopefully.

"No," Vader said. The word hit Romar's stomach like an iron fist. "I have decided to oversee your progress in this mission."

"If you wish, lord Vader," Romar said.

"I suggest you tell your crew to shape up for this battle." Vader stopped and pointed a finger at Romar. "This is no simulation, Major General... this is a real battle that must be won at all costs..."

"Sir, I have had my crew training for the past four and a half years," Romar said matter-of-factly. "I think they are ready."

"That is what Governor Tarkin said... and now his ashes are floating in the emptiness of space."

"Yes, m'lord," Romar said with a groan.

"My work is finished here for now, Major General..." Vader said, beginning to walk again. "I will be in my quarters."

Korin sat in the shuttle with the rest of Crimson Squad *(I'm guessing that we are still in the shuttle, if we aren't just tell me)*Korin checked his E-11 blaster rifle to see if it was in good condition, it was. Korin tried to contain his excitment as the shuttle neared it's destination, he was a Noghri and this is what he had been born to do.

Major General Romar heard Avenger Two's warning over the communicator.
"Track them, lieutenant," Romar said, standing behind Karson Dragg whom was at the navigational and radar terminal.

"Mon Calamari Assault Frigate!" Karson exclaimed.

"Assault Frigate?" Romar stood in silence. "They never travel... alone."

The Major General spoke to quickly. Two more identical cruisers jumped out of hyperspace.

Romar cursed under his breath. "All reverse! Back off!"

"Sir, two more Cruisers coming up behind!"

"It's a trap!" Romar said.

The twin durasteel doors of the bridge slid open and the unmistakeable mechanical breathing of Darth Vader echoed off the metal walls.

"Deploy the troops, Major General," Vader said coming up behind Romar. "While we still have an open window."

Karson looked up at Romar, questioningly.

"Do it, lieutenant!" Romar snapped.


{over communication system}
"All squadrons launch! All squadrons launch immediately! The Star Empire is under attack, you must launch now before we lose our window!"


"All systems are prepped and ready to go, Major," the pilot within the Crimson Claw said.

{over communication system}
"Docking shield is open! Launch now!"

The Imperial Lambda-class shuttle, followed by the aerial fighter squadrons and the troop carriers, blasted out of the docking bay and out into the coldness of space.

*joska looked around, hearing the alarms and knowing what they meant* oh no, rebels.......it must have been a trap

*over the ships loudspeaker, a message is played* "all troops are being deployed while we still have a chance. good luck troopers"

*joska sat back, slightly nervous* this is not a good way to start a mission

"Let's go!" And then Lennox's TIE Intereptor raced out of the hangar bay, flying under the belly of the ISD to face the Rebels.

"I read a swarm of X-Wings coming in point 2!"

Major General Romar picked pressed the comm button.

"Aerial fighters do what you can to help the Star Empire than proceed to the battlefield." Romar turned to look at Lieutenant Karson. "Lieutenant, you'd better get down there."

"Yes, sir," Karson said. "I'll take one of the shuttles in the hanger... good luck, sir."

"And to yourself, lieutenant," Romar said patting Karson's shoulder.
Romar turned to Darth Vader. "My lord, I give you control of this vessel if you'll take it."

Darth Vader swept passed the Major General without so much as a nod.
"Charge turbolasers and target the assault frigates' starboard engines," the dark lord said.

the ride down was terrible. there were lasers flying all around the shuttle, and many of them were close enought to graze the shuttle and rock it side to side. as joska looked around, he saw everyone sitting as still as possible, waiting for this hellish ride to be over so they can get to solid ground and do their job

"Aerial team, this is the Star Empire," Romar said into the comm unit. "Destroy those Y-Wings at all costs! They must not be allowed to reach the surface or we can say that this mission is failed."



Karson jumped into the pilot seat of the Imperial Lambda-class shuttle and fired up the engines.
Within seconds, the lone-man shuttle blasted out of the hanger and out into the storm of laser-fire.

"Star Empire, this is Shadow C-2... I'm gonna try and take out a few "Y"s before I head down." Karson rolled the shuttle in a slow spin, avoiding oncoming laser fire.

"Switching all power to front deflectors... here goes nothing..." Karson said to himself.

The shuttle made another deadly spin, then came around to face an approaching Y-Wing. Karson slammed the glowing-red button on his control panel and a few crimson bolts shot outward catching the Y-Wing's belly.

The rebel bomber spun out of control, starboard engines flamings. The Y-Wing exploded in the planet's atmosphere.

"I'll take him myself! Cover me! Hang in there, Eclipse One!"

"Watch it, Avenger Two!" Karson shouted into the comm. "You got two X-Wings flanking you!"

"All available fighters! The Ground Force carriers are taking heavy fire! Protect them at all costs!"

I bet there will be Rebeals in the dropoff zones. If there are lets take of few of them down with us!

*joska cracks a smile* i think right now we'll take them down just tryin to lad this bucket of bolts. we're takin one hell of a beating, and it's not getting any better!!! where in the world are those flyboys?!?

Lennox shows off his talents by performing all sorts of tail-spins. He cuts back on his engines, letting one of the X-Wings fly in front of him. Then, Lennox immediately vaporizes the Rebel craft.

"Ha! That got him!"

A squadron of Y-Wings swing over the Troop Carriers and immediatley begin bombarding them.

"I repeat, all available aerial fighters, the Troop Carriers are taking heavy fire! Protect them!"


"C-2 standing by... I'm moving in!" Karson turned the shuttle and blasted it toward the helpless troop carriers.

"I report five Y's hitting on the transports!" the lieutenant said into the communicator. Karson brought up his targeting computer and locked on to one of the Y-Wings. "Here's one for ya..." The shuttle let loose a wave of red bolts that struck the Y-Wing hard, blowing it off course and spinning helplessly into space.

"Good shooting, C-2!" Phantom A-1's voice came over the comm. "Now why didn't you join the Aerial Brigade?"

"I can do much better on the ground, Commander Ghaar... lining up another target..." Karson said. Once again the shuttle unhurled a wave of bolts that caught another fighter in the wing.

"C-2, you got an X on your shoulder!"

"Copy, Rancor B-2!" Karson said into the comm. "Gonna have to pull the old arc-trick..."

"Careful, Dragg," Ghaar's voice said. "That old shuttle might fall apart on you if you try a stunt like that!"

"It's a risk I'm gonna have to take, Commander..." Karson waited a second. Lights flashed within the cockpit and alarms blared, a signal that the enemy was close behind. Karson pulled back on the controls taking the shuttle into a swift arc.
"Yeehaa!" Karson shouted as he completed the arc and found himself behind the X-Wing. The lieutenant unleashed a few bolts that caught the fighter's starboard engine.
"Ex out one X-Wing!" Karson said into the open channel.

*trying to stay in his seat, joska was on the verge of being thrown into the center of the ship* this is gonna be a wonderful crash landing if those idiots don't get over here!!!!

"Lieutenant, another stunt like that and you will be on the Aerial Brigade," Romar's voice came over the comm in a jokingly-tone.

"Just doing what I can, Major General," Karson replied.

Some one give me a space sute I cant stan not being able to do any thing or give me command of some guns in this ship I furger that if we go I just might bring some of them with me.
