Right on! I like the Baby story shows. I'm always a mixture of sad and relieved it isn't me in the delivery room!

I wanted to make a thread here not just for my family's appearance on the TLC's A BABY STORY but for the show itself. It's pretty popular around here and many stay home moms really love it.

SO for those who don't know - My family will be on the show on September 15th 2004 at 2:30pm. There are 4 new shows airing that day - one of them is ours. I haven't seen the show yet but I know everything we filmed and I can tell you that there will be many Star Wars references, as well as clips from SILENT BUT DEADLY 3 (http://www.fadproductions.com/sbd). I know they shot me on the computer a little and I had the Senate and Starwarz.com on the monitor so we'll see if those shots make it in. We talked about the wedding a little, how we were married on May 25th 1997 (20 years to the day after SW was released - which was never really the intention, it just happened to be right place, right time so I thought what the hell). They have our wedding video where we walk in to the SW theme at the reception so that should make it in too if there's time. We went to NYC to the big TRU there, then to Little Italy and lots of other cool stuff went on. You might even see our moms dancing with the "Naked Cowboy." Interesting to say the least...

Anyhow, we tried to be fun and funny so I'm sure there are some good moments in there. The birth was VERY intense and there were complications. I understand that they edited this down a bit so you won't get the full effect, but I'm not so sure I want to relive the bad parts of all that anyhow. The good thing is that the baby is here and healthy!

So - anyhow, try to check it out or tape it.

My friend has a tv capture card with coax input on it. When it airs we're going to tape it. Plus they're going to send me a copy sans commercials. I'm going to take that copy and bring it to his house to import it into his PC. Then we're going to put it on DVD somehow and I'll make a master of that. From there I can see who needs one and send them out if need be. I "owe" some of you here a few things so maybe this'll settle a few debts style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

She's more of a cameo actually. The big not-such-a surprise ending!

The show is broken down into segments.

There's an intro segment where they go back a bit to brief childhood an into how we met, etc. Who we are, what we do. Then they go into talking about Zack a little and the new baby that's on the way, the thoughts involved, worries, concerns, etc. Then there's the outings to NYC, all the interviews and incidental stuff filmed at the house all interspersed.

Then there's the birth segment - should be the intense part but scaled back so as not to freak people out because apparently it was so hard to watch that the Hospital requested a re-edit. (Personally I think they didn't want to look bad on TV or risk someone suing them). All the really intense stuff sort of gets explained by the doctor and was shot a little while after the birth, outside the room somewhere. So while they edited a lot of the problems out, they'll be mentioned I think.

Then they do a final segment to wrap it up. That will be the baby at about a month old or so, follow up interviews, footage of a nice Italian dinner at my mom's.

Roll credits - and we're out.

I just found out that I'm not getting a copy of the show from the producers (no ads, etc) until 4 - 6 weeks after Wednesday's initial airing for whatever reason.

So we're going to tape it and I'll try to make a DVD from that version ASAP and see about getting some out to you. When the good one comes I'll of course make a master DVD of that one. Up to you guys if you want one sooner or later but no promises on when I can get it made.

Until then - 2 days and counting!
Producer said the show came out great and TLC really liked it.

Just talked to Louisa - she's home with my mom and her mom and my grandma all watching it. She said it was great and she was all crying and stuff style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif hehe...

She said they really really cut down the birth and there's no story from the doctor explaining the complications and stuff but that's cool with me. Apparently it opens with the Naked Cowboy stuff in NYC - hehe.. wack (that was actually my idea, to make them go dance with that guy).

It was so emotional. I was crying as well.

It was already touched upon, but yeah StarWarz.com, GS.com, and Silent But Deadly (briefly) was shown. I felt the show really gave a great small glimpse into what you two (the T'bone's) are all about.

I found out a few things that I didn't know before.

I was also reminded of the only time I witnessed a live birth which is when my niece Jaynie (she's 5 now) was born.

i was fortunate enough to see this in the T household last night! boy, having children is an adventure!!! i think TLC did a good job (but T could have done better) Mrs. T has all of my respect, Z bone was cute as ever, and as for baby Isabella, she is a very lucky girl to have such great parents!
