UNIX and DOS are just not user friendly enough for most people (except computer nerds). I personally hate having to remember commands to do stuff.

If you had read some of the more recent posts, you would see that there are still a few people using Win 98 as little as three months ago.
For me, XP Home at home and XP Pro at work.

Windows XP Pro.
When I first got my computer it had XP home and I had to spend a day or so installing Pro.
I am using XP Pro, but I miss those good old days when there was only DOS and computers were shut down by the help of their power switches. Than came Win*ows and we learnt that besides planes, computers can crash, too.

I think that NT for Workstations is a very old network operating system. Too old. ME is for the Millenium, year 2000, which has past, and CE is a OS that I don't know much about, but have used before so I will not say anything about it.
