OOC: Just for your information... I am new to this forum. I am a veteran of RPs such as NationStates and Wing Commander: Galactic Conflict, so forgive me if I destroy any of your RP values... this thread is a semi-open RP... please, no godmodding, no stating others damage, et cetera.

When Grand Admiral Thrawn, the last Grand Admiral, was killed by his Noghri bodyguard, Palleon because the Admiral of the Imperial Remnants. He ordered his fleet, the bulk of the Imperial fleet, to retreat from Bilbringi, leaving behind the vital shipyards. The New Republic, which was still struggling, kept Bilbringi, and utilized the shipyards to produce cruisers for the Republic. 2 years later, Admiral Palleon assigned Commodore Mickuu Kukehm to the 2nd Fleet, a small detachment of ships left over from a failed assault in the Correlia Sector. It was comprised of a single Imperial Star Destroyer, a Nebulon-B Frigate, and 2 Carrack Cruisers.
Under orders from the Admiral, the fleet began a move towards the system of Bilbringi. It was expended to have only token Republic resistance, as the republic itself was currently undergoing a small war with the smaller imperial warlords not under Palleons control. The republic believed that Thrawns empire would still be rebuilding after 2 years, but they were about to be disproved....
