I came across this site while looking for some pictures of assorted Star Wars ships. some of you might already know about it, some of you might not, some of you might not care...but anyway, take a look if you want
First Site (http://frankg.dgne.com/swsv/index.shtml)
that's a pretty cool site, it lists all the ships under their respective creator.
Second Site (http://www.theforce.net/swtc/)
i did a nice job of labeling this sites, huh? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif anyway, this site takes a little more looking around to find what you're looking for. i was looking in the Imperial Warship section, and they list a whole crap load of ships...i enjoyed it, so i thought i'd share it
adios

The Technical Commentaries are very well known. In my opinion it is just a bunch of BS. Really, and Endor Holocaust?!

WHAT??!! "Bunch of BS?" Dr. Saxton's articles are derived from the movie canon. His articles are very well researched. While I don't agree with Dr. Saxton regarding his Endor Holocaust article, that's no reason to label the site as BS. Why do you think Dr. Saxton was chosen to write the AOTC and ROTS Incredible Cross-Sections and work as a consultant on the Inside the Worlds of Episode II in the first place?

Don't get me wrong, I use many parts of the TC as referance material and I find it very enjoyable to read. I also think Lucasbooks picked the right man to do the AotC and RotS ICS. Except some things on his site , such as the Endor Holocaust, are fan speculations. It was even proven that in that YA book, The Glove of Darth Vader, that the debris from the Second Death Star was sucked into a worm hole and spread across parts of the galaxy, and that book was put back into the Official Continuity in 2004, so that overrules Saxton's theory on a holocaust. Also, a comic in Tales #23 (which is one of the all in- Continuity issues) which was titled "Marooned on Endor" had a stranded stormtrooper and Rebel on Endor 1 YEAR after the DSII exploded. And you also have to remember that even though he is the author of some licensed material, that doesn't mean that his Technical Commentaries have also been made official. Unless Lucas Licensing approves of the TC, they are still mearly a fan production and will be treated as such.
Still, don't get me wrong, I think he has put much of his time into this project and I deeply respect Dr. Saxton and his contribution to the fans with his CS, IStWoEII, and even the Technical Commentaries. Sorry if I offended you in any way Magnus.

Some material, such as the Endor holocaust, are speculative (and I don't agree with Saxton on that, I mean that is what should happen, but this is a SW movie), but much of the site can't be regarded as "fan production" as he has derived most of his articles from the movies, and the movies overrides everything else (but again, as you say, some of his articles are speculative).
I wasn't offended, and I'm sorry if my reaction was a bit harsh.
