Photoshop is a fun application. If you have anything you've done in photoshop that you think is cool, post it here. Please try to keep the chit-chat to a minimum and let's make this a great visual thread.

Here's one I made for that sexy beast Pablo Hidalgo from Lucasfilm.

I did some bumperstickers a couple of years ago.
I can't say it's my best Photoshop work ever but they were fun to do.

did another lightsaber effect, still playing with it to make it look good

this is a friend of mine, i took out his face and such

i had to remove the plastic blade so it would look right

enjoy, and if anyone's willing to critique it, give me some tips, that'd be helpful

thanks!

just putting this here for me and anyone else who hates the fact that PSD previews have been turned off vie windows explorer in Photoshop CS. It's their lame attempt at forcing everyone to use their crappy "File Browser"

style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Kapit

i guess i'll stick with 7 then, i love being able to browse through and fid what i want w/o having to open PS

Is there any point in downl..erm, upgrading to CS? Does it actually have any significant improvements?

Horse_Head
10-27-2004, 02:02 PM
CS has some very cool stuff... the text handling is finally where I wanted it in the mid 90s... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif I use it at home all the time

T-bone
10-27-2004, 02:11 PM
^ very right.

however i'm not saying NOT to get CS, it's cool as hell.
i'm just saying it's lame that they purposely turned off the previews to force people to use their file browser which is a pain in the rear.

Adobe has released a new online photo editor/storage site...

Photoshop Express
https://www.photoshop.com/express/landing.html

It looks like a great tool for those who don't have photoshop or don't have it installed on all the computers they use. And the storage part looks like it could be cool.

The only drawback I can see is that it looks like you need to be 18 or older and live in the US.

But you get your own subdomain... http://horse_head.photoshop.com/
