I'll be there, last time I went I had one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had at a con!

I mean there were times I would just hang out with two or three of my favourite authors, talk about nothing except the weather, or soccer or whatever, while they casually signed autographs or shooed away rude fanboys, then I'd literally bump into a group of fans who would invite me out to their dinner/room party/whatever.

Really great con! So can't wait!

Yup, I'm going. This will be my first ever ComiCon, so I'm really exciting and looking forward to some of the panels I've seen listed, and some of the celebs who are going to be there. I'm even putting the finishing touches on a costume I plan to wear for at least one day.

Can't wait. I'm leaving tomorrow morning. I'll meet up with my friend at the hotel, then we're going to Preview Night. Got all of my stuff I'm taking to get signed (books, comics, cards, DVD slips, etc.), all my clothes, and my costume all packed.

Hey All,

You obviously do not know who I am, My name is Mike Kelly. I am a staffer over at JediTempleArchives.com. I hope that you are familiar with us. Anyway, I talked to T'Bone about San Diego Comic Con, as we are lookin for someone to take pics for us. For some reason I thought I read somewhere that he was going, but, alas he is not. He then said for me to check the forums as someone may be able to help us out. I saw that this thread, and that some of you were attending Comic Con. There are only 3 of us here on staff at the Temple, and all of us are east coasters, so, none of us can make it. We are looking for someone that is attending all 4 days, has a decent digital camera, that you know how to use the camera (nothing is worse then blurry pics), and that can email us pics each night of the Con. No editorials, nothing like that. Just pics of everything and anything Star Wars, Especially Hasbro, Wizards Of The Coast, LEGO. But we also would like anything else that is Star Wars related. costumes, the LFL Booth, the Lucasarts Booth. Etc. We would like as many pics as can be taken, nice detailed pics are very important!

For doing this, we would pay for one of your days admission at the con. We choose Saturdays admission, as it is the most expensive one at $30. We think that's a pretty fair deal for taking a bunch of pics and getting an extra $30 in your pocket for goodies. In fact, if you are going for the 4 days, and signed up for the 4 day package @ $60, then your admission is half paid for.

If you are interested let me know!

I have an ok digital camera, but my computer doesn't like it very much. It's hard to get the pics from one camera to my cpu to my internet cpu. But I can try to take some for you. I'll do it for free since I might not get exactly what you want. Have someone else do it just in case, too.

Just got back from Comic-con, had an absolutely wonderful time! I had to travel light this year, but I picked up so many goodies at the con that my suitcase gained around 15 pounds or so (I was *this* close to being told to lighten the load at check in). I have some picture that I took during the con too, and I will see what I can do about including those with my next column (gotta upload them off the CF card first) style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

HH! I missed you at the con! but I guess thats because aside from the books and comics panels I really didn't do alot of the SW stuff this year. I actually didn't take that many pictures this year either, but I did participate in the local 501st garrison's droid hunt on saturday and was nabbed by a Grand Admiral Thrawn who methinks needs to find facepaint a darker shade of blue.

Had lots of fun though, spent too much money, can't wait to do it again style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif
