Other Star Wars forums

I registered a few months ago on TF.N and I must say that this place is much better. It's alot smaller and easier to look at and read. TF.N is total chaos.

I've seen some other smaller sites, I forget their names. One was something on the lines of Sith Forum or Dark Side Forum. Not bad but needs alot of work.

I've been on the OS website and thats just lame.

Anyone else been to other sites with forums like this one?

No. I have had accounts at SW.com and TFN but I found the forums there terrible. The GS is much better managed.

I agree too. Many a little bit too moderated though, which can be a good thing and a bad thing. I guess I rather have it like this cause those other two big forums are chaos.

The easy one www.starwars.com FYI for the forums to join it's free and you get more stuff on other SW sites(IE www.lucasarts.com ect.) but not as much as Hyperspace.

no no, goto RottenTomatoes. Its very high quality and well run. But anything goes there and its HUGE! Hard to meet anyone online there to post against. So basically its like your talking to yourself all day. Too weird for me.

As for the link above, not a bad forum, but get rid of the Matrix graphics in the backround....too hard on the eyes

This is the main SW message board I go to. The JC is so huge and the people aren't as nice. I posted there awhile back, but not so much anymore. The OS forum needs a topic tracker and it would be good, but not as good as the GS.

I lurk on the OS boards occassionally, but I think I have posted all of twice there. I honestly just can't keep up with the 7 BILLION or so messages they get every day. I am a regular at Star Wars board set up by Dark Horse. It' s a wonderful board, really welcoming. It gets some trouble from trolls every now and then, but what board doesn't? I also DO have a profile at the TFN boards, although I almost never stray from the Fanforce Toronto section.

Other than that, lets see, I lurk at Peter David's blog (www.peterdavid.net), newsarama AND the Pulse, the Toronto Trek boards (http://tcon.ca) and a few other places. And YES somehow I still manage to get my work done on time!

I haven't posted at TF.N since my comp crashed, but when I get it fixed I plan to return with a sock. I like it there... nice and big so no one ever remembers you or the stupid things you've said previous in the debate forum that you now regret.

The NJO fan club board (http://invisionfree.com/forums/njo) is cool... its cheap, small, and nothing but spam, but the members are real nice and I'm a mod so it rocks. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif

I think out of all of the gazillion message boards I'm a member at, though, I post most regularly at this, NJO, and Starra's PFB.

I joined IMDB forum a long time ago and I just started posting there....wow, talk about the worst forum in the world. Its not bad to read every now and then but to actually discuss something is impossible.
