Greetings Fellow Posters!
I am pleased to announce the very first in the Galactic Senates Fanart Competition!
The Rules and Regs are as follows:

1. The image must be produced by the artist ALONE.
2. It has to be an image set in the classic era, Ep I or Ep 2, or EU. NO EP 3 CONCEPT IMAGES ALLOWED!
3. The image can be of anything you like. Character, ship, creature, etc.
4. Any medium is acceptable.
5. You don't have to submit full color. A tone study, or line art is just as welcome.
6. All entries have to be submitted to me via e-mail (tarkheki@yahoo.ca). If you wish to upload it somewhere on-line and save my mailbox, please e-mail me a link!
7. Include your name and title of the piece.
8. Deadline for the competition will be July 4rth *See Edit Below*.
9. After the deadline, I will post all qualifying images in the Fanart Section for judging.

Judging will be done by anyone who wishes to participate! There will be a poll, and you will vote for the best image!


What can you win?
I'll tell you!

1. First Prize: A "Darth Maul" Unleashed figure (MIB)
2. Second Prize: 2 "Fact Files" (found in UK only) and an Obi-wan pad and notebook set.
3. An "Amidala and Friends" Drawing kit. Includes: Pencil Case, Ruler, sharpener, eraser, notebooks, pencils with character erasers.

See pics attached (Might be slightly dark due to freaky Digital Camera).

Edit: NEW DEADLINE&#33;

Since some people have complained that they won&#39;t have enough time to work on artwork due to finals at school, I&#39;ve extended the competition until the end of July. August 1st I shall be putting up the artwork for voting&#33;

Just a question about voting. How many votes do we get? You should set limits, like vote for your favorite top three or five. That way folks won&#39;t vote over and over and over for one picture style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

doh, nevermind, I figured it out... it&#39;s a POLL, so we only get one vote. So what keeps us all for voting for our own stuff???

Why? How should we know.... it&#39;s Sheridan College... they decided to "upgrade" to a BA program, and they are changing so many things it&#39;s driving us crazy&#33; Even the university guys get more vacation&#33; ARGH&#33;

Well, the contest in the winter was a no go due to 2 reasons:

1) overwhellming work load- I didn&#39;t even spend the christmas weekend at home. I was at the studio working
