I know there's a thread about this already, but I thought a poll would be interesting, as it would show the actual ratio of the ages (does that sound right?).

Oh, dear gawd. Is it just because more youngsters come and vote in these polls or are there really more young teens here than I thought. I knew there were a lot of young 20's and then us in the "original SW Geeks" group of 30 - 35.

The 12-15 year olds are overunning the 30 plussers. This is scary. No wonder I got chastised by Obi-Wan's parents for posting on a children's board. Where are all the adult SW fans in the world, aside from the few that are here?

Thank God for you and Kafer, and the other 30-somethings. I just realized, 30-35 is 26.67%, and 35-40 is 3.33%, so in fact its 12-15 30% and 30-40 30%. I feel a little bit better, but the younger guys still post far more than the 30 somethings. C'mon ya old farts, get busy posting!

Yes, Cat, I feel old here too. On the old Jedinet message boards we were all adults and some late teens, with only a few youngsters on occasion posting. Now it seems the majority of posting is being done by the 13-17 year olds, and the adult posters are few and far between. It is strange to start discussing subjects with someone else, and then realize that the person is young enough to be my daughter/son if I had one. They are all great people and interesting participants; it's just strange to sometimes find myself in mature discussions with people half my age.
