What does RTS stand for? Real Time Strategy?

Yeah, that's what it stands for. And no, there aren't anymore then that. The only other strategy is Supremecy (AKA Rebellion) which is turn based and poo. And not in print anymore due to it's general pooness.

Thanks now moving on to easter eggs in the games I now in some campaign levels in Galactic Battlegrounds on the you can find seans from the movies. I just forget where

But first what is Rebellion like is it like civil war general(non-SW) (if you have played it)

If you find a copy of Rebellion then it should be cheap enough for you to buy and try out. I wouldn't recommend it though, it's dated very badly and was a poor game to start out with. It's more of a "conquer each system in a vague way" rather then focusing on anything in particular. Even if you invest alot of time in it you'll find it a very unrewarding experience.

And the tactical part of it, when your fleet and an enemy fleet met, was atrocious. I usually just simulated the results because it was so boring and there really wasn't much I could do to affect the end results anyway.

Actually, IMO, Rebellion is one of the best Star Wars games I've played. Haven't got to Force Commander, but Galactic Battlegrounds is just an AOE mod.

Don't buy Force Commander it can never compare to GB in game play FC looks better but is harder to play and There is olny two civ. to pick from. GB has a lot GBCChas two more.

Nah, there already was a game released here called Rebellion (on the BBC Micro I think) which for some reason still holds the copyright. Even though it's been out of print for over 15 years...

I imagine its that expensive because its out of print. It went to budget a long time ago and then just dissapeared. $40 for that?!? Would you pay $40 for a game that's worse then Force Commander and much older? I know I wouldn't.

DAMN that's expensive. Because of how old it is I've seen it for 10 AUD (about 6 USD) in EB. but that was a LONG time ago. I personally got my copy courtesy of CCD style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif
