During the long journey back, Leet sat contemplating life. Landing in the docking bay, Leet dreaded the walk he was now taking to sickbay . . .

Jaina was catching Zhadar up on the things that he has missed during his deep sleep. They were both smiling , espically Jaina she wasn't alone and Zhadar was up now. She was mainly waiting for when they can leave the sick bay and be back with the other Twins. Jaina did anything to keep her mind off her sister til she heard something from Leet.

[Soontir Solo]

"I am going to meet with Booster, see what the low down is around the galaxy and hopefully get an idea of what he has up his sleeve for the future. I heard the Diamond Deck is one of the greatest places in the entire galaxy, I will meet you down there a bit later Egrog."

Captain Solo goes and meets Booster in the flagdeck. And who is with him? None other than Talon Kaarde, leader of the Smuggler Alliance. They exchange pleasantries and then get down to business. Kaarde and Booster have a mission coming up, one that could use the services of a First Rate Fighter squadron with Jedi. They have been supplying the resistance effort on Honoghr and now the time has come to pull the rest of the Noghri off the planet.

"So we could really use Twin Suns Squadron to help us out here. The Noghri are very valuable to the GFFA and from what we know there are still around 500 left on Honoghr in the resistance. The Vong continue to pour more soldiers in though and the time has come to relocate them. And I have a special interest in the Noghri because of the help they have given me over the past against the former Empire." says Kaarde.

"Well I can't promise you anything but I will be returning to Mon Cal in 2 days. I will let my Commander know and we will see what happens."

"In one week we will launch from Kessel to Honoghr, be there if you can." says Kaarde.

"Ok, I have 2 days of leave now and if you don't mind Captain Terrik I think I am going to go treat myself to a good time on your Diamond Deck."

Walking in the room Leet crossed the distance to his two friends, Jaina's anxiety was palpable. "Jaina, I, umh, your sister was one of the volunteers to fight the rearguard as the Jedi were evacuating. She fought bravely and helped keep the Vong distracted. However, she did not make it. But her bravery saved the life of the children."

*egrog walks to the bar, on his way, he sees soontir* hey soontir! cmon over and get a drink! we can go take over the sabacc tables

Jaina looked up at Leet. Her eyes watery." You know that sounds like her to die for children. She loved kids and would have done anything for them." Jaina said as she tried to hold back her tears. Her heart was torn by the Vongs one last time, Jaina thought deeply inside. Jaina sat back down on her bed. Breathing deeply. No wonder why I couldn't feel her anymore. " I always thought that would have been the reason for me not feeling her anymore. Jaina looked ay Leet, Do you think these Vongs have a weakness of some sort." she asks with a bunch of other thoughts going through her head. Deep inside she was planning an attack. When the Twins get their next chance it will be the Vongs turn to take damages the next go around.

Putting his hand on her shoulder Leet responded "They must, the force is not with them." All Leet could do was stand and wonder how much the loss would effect his friend.

*looking around diamond deck, egrog noticed a group of human females* hey sonnitr........*gestures subtly in their direction*

Jaina looked up at Leet. " I can't believe she is gone, but , I am proud of her. And the children are safe?," Jaina asks. " Yes, Jaina they are safe." he said. "Good," she says . She really was happy to hear that. " You know what she tell me if she was here?" she says softly. Leet and Zhadar didn't know if she was to get upset or mad. " She would tell me she died to save those childeren," as turned around and cracked a lil smile when she turned around and looked at Leet and Zhadar. "And want me to stay focused on our future missions against the Vong, and I'm going to do it."trying not to show much emotions.

" Leet if the maedical droids come by, Iwent to the sims. I'll be sitting and keeping sharp. I will be there if someone needs me. But, I just want to be alnoe for now." and she walked off as fast as she could.

[Soontir Solo]

"We are at war Egrog, a Chiss Fighter keeps his eye on becoming a better fighter, not looking at women. I do think that is a big difference between Chiss and Humans. When Chiss get involved in war it consumes them, it is all they think about and all they will concentrate on till victory has come. Humans do this to a point as well, but also keep an eye out for having fun. By the way Booster and Kaarde have a mission for us, and really as much of Twin Suns as can be brought together. When we get back to Mon Cal I'll tell you more about it."

*egrog smiles and shakes his head* yeah, just a little different, i suppose. you wanna go find some sims and go one on one?

Congrats on the promotions Twins. I think a little hand to hand combat is needed. So I have asked an ex Imperial guard to help brush up on our techniques. Command is also planning something big you guys so be prepared to move too.

*as egrog and soontir headed to the sims, they both recieved a message from the General on their coms* changes? heh, after what's happened, i'm ready for anything

[Soontir Solo]

After Soontir and Egrog had gotten done simming, they decided to treat themselves to a first class dinner, get a good night's sleep, and fly back to Mon Cal to inform them about the extraction planned for Honoghr and see what big operation is being planned.

"Nice little trip I must say, but duty calls. Back to Mon Cal. Hyperspace on my mark, 3, 2, 1 Mark!"

Captain's Solo and Egrog begin there return to Mon Calamari.

*egrog and soontir land on the hapan cruiser* hey, let's go check on jaina and zhardar, see if they're feeling any better

*as they head towards the med bay, egrog senses something wrong* something isn't right here........

[Soontir Solo]

"Well stay alert, lets just make it to Sick Bay."

Soontir makes sure his charric blaster is on him.

*as they enter the sick bay, egrog notices that zhardar and leet are the only ones there*
hery guys, where'd jaina go? ran off again? *said egrog, with a smile*

"Egrog, Soontir - Jaina's sister died fighting a delaying action on Yavin. That's why I came back early, to let her hear it from a friend before she recieved it through official channels." Leet replied.

*egrog rocked back on his heels, stunned* are you serious?????? oh man, where's she at now?

"She cried and left, said she wanted to be alone, and I didn't want to crowd her." Leet said.

yeah, i don't blame her. that's so sad.....i think i might hit the bunk for a little while. take care guys *egrog heads out the door*

Jaina left back to the sick bay. She entered the door and saw leet and zhadar. " Leet, Thanks for coming back and telling me about my sister,"Jaina said as she cracked alil smile.

*on his way back to his bunk, egrog got sidetracked by the prospect of food* mmm......food......
*egrog sits down to eat, and is thouroughly enjoying his food*

*after eating his share, egrog got up and decided to find leet and find out the story of jaina's sister. as he enters the medical bay, he notices jaina is there too*

oh...hi jaina. i'm sorry about your sister *egrog said hesitantly* if you don't mind my asking, what happened?

Jaina's reply is lost in the sound of a loud speaker: "Twin Suns report to training room. Twin Suns Report to training room 8."

*egrog looks arouud* oh man, i wonder what's going on this time...

"Well, lets go wait for the rest of the Twins in the training room," Jaina says wondering what's going on.

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina, Zhadar, Leet and Egrog enter traing room 8. " well, I guess we wait, for now." Jaina says calmly.

ooo, pretty mats *egrog said as he looked at the floor*

what are they for?

"Unarmed and melee weapons training, Lt. Hand to hand, vibroblades, the rough stuff." Leet said.

*egrog smiles fromf ear to ear* ah, stabbing, awesome. it's been awhile since i've had a go at hand to hand

"There's supposed to be some ex-Imp here to train us." Leet said. Wondering what an ex-Imp could teach a group of Jedi and Chiss.

*egrog looks a little less happy* no hard feelings, right? especially considering most of are jedi

"I would think not, the General did arrange it." Leet replied.

[Kapit]

*egrog nods* everyone's supposed to be here, right? i mean, right now it's just the five of us

"Yes, everyone is supposed to come. However, most of the squadron is engaged in simulator practice, so it may take a while to get here." Leet answered.

[Kapit]

oh okay *yawns* would you mind if i go and hit the bunk for awhile? i'm in need of some serious sleep

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto, enters the training room. Immediately heading for Xo Jaina Jade, enveloping her in a comforting hug.

"I just got back from the communications suite," Leto said " I'm sorry to hear about your sister."

Relaesing his hold on Jade he turns to Leet. Grasping his forearm in a friendly greeting he glances down at Leet's leg.

"You sure you're up to this?" he asked.

Returning Leto's grasp Leet replies "Of course Leto, how have you been?"

*egrog walks in* mornin guys. your name is leto aldriss, right? i don't believe we've met. i'm captain egrog kaputski, and it's a pleasure to finally meet you

[Soontir Solo]

"Booster Terrik has an operation planned to evacuate the remaining Noghri resistance on Honoghr. He could use some help to keep off the Vong skips so I am going to meet up with him and Kaarde at Kessel. Anyone who would like to join me feel free. Noghri are vitally important to the military and I know this is worthwhile, Twin 11 out."

Soontir heads for his Clawcraft ready to launch for Kessel.

*looks at where soontir was* well, i guess he doesn't like hand to hand!

[Soontir Solo]

"I am proficient with a charric and a blaster, not to mention various forms of explosives. My talents aren't with Vibro Blades. Plus this mission is too important for me right now, Booster and Kaarde have squadrons with them, but they lack discipline and could use real trained leaders to lead them against the Skips."

Soontir heads to hyperspace.

"Welcome to Kessel Captain Solo, How are things?" says Booster.

"Pretty good Captain Terrik, may I dock?"

"Certainly, we leave as soon as your on board. It will be a few hours to Honoghr after that. Kaarde says his complements. Him and I will meet you shortly." says Booster.

"Solo coming in"

When Leto gave Jaina a hug. Jaina tells Leto thanks as he continues to talk with everyone. Gavin and Zindra eneters the Training room.gavin went straight to Jaina. " I'm sorry to hear about your sister," gavins says." She fought an ddied bravely, Gavin, " Jaina replys back with a lil smile. " We may have to start without the others, it seems like, Leet. We are wasting time just standing here."Jaina says as she towards him.

"I agree, everyone pair off - practice unarmed attacks and defense." Leet ordered. Pulling Jaina aside he said "Jaina, Soontir has taken off on his own back to the maw."

[Kapit]

*as egrog stretches, he sees jaina and leet getting into a discussion* man, this is gonna be fun, i haven't done hand to hand in a long time

[Soontir Solo]

OOC: I am actually on Honoghr now.

"Captain, I have 3 squadrons of fighters ready to go. Unfortanetly most are smugglers and most aren't in what we would call pristine fighters. Mostly Uglies, Tri-Fighters, some Headhunters, and a few outdated Y-Wings and X-Wings. So I am assigning these squadrons to you. Meet with the Squadron leaders as soon as we are done here. Kaarde has an entire fleet of corvettes, freighters, and gunships. He will be in charge of picking up with resistance fighters. You will need to keep the skips off my back up here in the Errant Venture. Hopefully this will go quick but you never know." says Booster

"Captain Terrik, We will be ready to protect the Venture, and if you need be to go groundside and cover Kaarde from atmosphere."

Later on Soontir flies at of the hangar with 3 squadrons of fighters and heads towards the skips.

"Red Squadron on me, we are going in. Stay alert and work together. Blue Squaron hang back with the Venture but be ready to move. Green Squadron go downside and cover Kaarde but be ready to come back up here on my word, it looks like only 2 squadrons of skips for now. Leave half of the squadron here to join me in assailing those skips."

Errant Venture pounds the small frigates and gunships while Soontir mixes it up with skips.

Let's start this training. We'll begin by sending holographic Vong at us and we'll be graded for our scores. Don't be afraid to pair up or go solo. * Comm buzzes* General your squadron is needed at Honoghr to help with their defense. One of your pilots is already there helping Booster Terrik. You have an our to finish your exercise.

sir, is this serious? we just got back from a mission and some of us aren't even ready to fly again. are we going or not?

[Soontir Solo]

"All seems to be going well so far. Captain Kaarde how are things down there?"

"We could use some more help to be honest, the Vong have got some more skips coming our way groundside and they are moving rakamats and ground forces our way."

"You shall have it Captain, Green Squadron the rest of you go groundside and take orders from Kaarde. Blue Squadron I want you to move up and support Red Squadron. Hopefully we can finish up here then all go dirtside."

And right then a Vong fleet comes out of hyperspace.

"Alert, Alert, Vong Fleet coming out of hyperspace. Looks like 3 Cruiser Analogs, 8 Frigate Analgs, and a ton of skips. Blue and Red Squadron get ready to defend yourselves. Lets finish off this group then meet the newcomers. Captain Terrik, may I ask what your intentions are?"

"Solo Kaarde has some more ships on the way but not enough for this. I can handle one maybe two of those cruisers. I have sent for help, hopefully some will come. Right now we are just going to try and hold them back long enough for Kaarde to finish the evac."

"Very well then, Blue and Red Squadrons it is time we buy them some time. Blue Squadron you take point. Stay in front and hold them back but give ground slowly towards the Venture. Red Squadron on me. Lets move out towards there capital ships and see if we can't divert some skips away from Errant Venture. Play it safe guys, this isn't the time to try something stupid. Play it smart and we will get through this."

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto turned back to Jade and Leet.

"If trouble's not looking for us, we go looking for it." He says as he brushes his shaggy black forelock out of his eyes.

"I hope the last couple of days have been used for healing trances, cause last I heard the fighting over Honoghr was a real furball."

*egrog smiles* here we go again! and i wanted to finally learn to not cut myself when using a vibrobalde

Jaina looked at Leet and Leto. "THis ought to get intresting."

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto looked back at her, "Well, shall we make with the 'ALL PILOTS TO THEIR SHIPS' ?"

[jadeskywalker]

Yeah, we better, we have one of our own over there as we speak. Twins get prepred to leave , we are going on a lil trip. Let's go!" Jaina says.

[Kapit]

*egrog begins heading out the door* alright, lets go kill some vong! it's time we got them back for what they've done to our squadron, and this time, it's personal.

Leet looked at his friends and headed to his X-Wing, on the way he said "Major, take it easy out there; leave some Vong for the rest of us."

I'm sure there will be enough for all of us, Jaina replies, headed for her X-Wing.

*hopping into his x-wing, egrog began prepping his ship for takeoff and the coming battle* alright r5, things are gonna get fun out there. you ready for it? *his r5 tootled wearily* yeah, i'll watch out for a buddy, just so long as you watch out for me
*his r5 beeps more happily* alright, that's what i like to hear!
*to twins* alright twins, who's ready for this?

[Soontir Solo]

The Smuggler Alliance Squadrons fight for there lives, while dirtside Talon Kaarde has finished the evacuation.

"Terrik, Solo it seems we are trapped. I am off planet now but there is too much activity here. We are trapped in teh Gravity Well. We have to punch out of here somehow." says Kaarde

"Captain Kaarde, Booster is taking a beating, When will the rest of your fleet arrive?"

And at that moment, 3 Corvettes comes out of hyperspace.

"Speak of the Devil, Hello Aves. Nice of you to join us. If you wouldn't mind moving up along side Errant Venture and trying to take some pressure off his port side." says Kaarde

"Understood Boss, Aves out"

"All Squadrons regroup around Errant Venture. Looks like we are down to 2/3 our original number. Aves has Booster's port side so lets concentrate on protecting starboard long enough for help to arrive."

And more hypespace activity now.

"Sith Spit! Another Vong Cruiser and 3 more Frigates. Booster any help coming that you know of?"

"Its coming Solo, General Keyen Farlander is on his way here, word is he has a strong fleet and the rest of your Twin Suns with him."

"Thank the Force."

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto checked his pre flight systems. As he verified the ship combat ready it occurred to him that less than four years ago the olny ships he flew were frieghters. Sadly he recalled the last time he flew 'Dream Chaser' he missed the old YT-2100.

As he lifted off from the deck he looked to his comrades and hoped that this time they would all come through unscathed.

Reality unfortunately told him that the odds were against it.

As they cleared the launch bay, Leet said "Twins prepare for hyperspace. I have coordinates being beamed to your astromechs." Waiting until the entire squadron was ready, Leet said "On my mark 3-2-1" and his starfield went white.

[Kapit]

*egrog settled back into his seat as the starfield stretched and he was launched into hyperspace* time for a quick snooze. r5, wake me when we're 30 minutes out

" All systems go...ready in 3,2,1, mark." Jaina waches the stars streach as she hit hyperspace. " How long til we get to them," Jaina says.

"About one standard hour." Leet replies.

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina herd Leet's relpy and thought good they will be plenty far all to go around. " The Vong Fleet should be there by now, so when we get of of hyperspace don't be surprised if we see them there alredy."
Just then she saw a Vong jumping at her screaming as if he was going to attaack her. Jaina grabs for her saber but realized it was something else. She was still awake when she saw that. Jaina;s eyes widened, " The attack has already started," Jaina says in the comm befire she even realized she has said it.
" How much longer? Jaina says wondering.

[Soontir Solo]

"Terrik, fall back. Your going to lose your ship if you keep this up. You can't stand against all those cruisers and frigates at once. A fighting retreat, our reinforcements shoudl be here anytime now."

"Solo tell me your situation." says Kaarde

"Captain, I am down to half strength now. These men are fighting valiantly but there are just too many Skips out here."

"Alert, we have hyperspace activity." says Red 2

"Well I'll be, nice to see you Twin Suns, we could definitely use your help. General Farlander may I recommend you team up with Booster and take it to the Vong Capital Ships? There are plenty of skips to go around Twin Suns."

[jadeskywalker]

The Twins jump out of Hyprespace and Jaina shot down a few skips. " Woo...Hoo...Soontir glad we made it when we did."

[Kapit]

*as he exits hyperspace, egrog looks around and sees all the skips* alrighty, r5, give me some targets!

*r5 beeps and bloops* thanks r5

lead, what's the situation? pick and choose, or we stayin together?

[jadeskywalker]

Flight 1 group go left, flight 3 group will go right and flight 2 will continue going staright. Lets get most of the skpis off the other squads and we will meet up for another attcak run.

*egrog reaches up to flip a switch* s-foils into attack position, four lit and in the green, lasers charged, shields up at...99% i have to talk to the mechanics about that one

"No problem, 8". Jaina comms. " Just watch for the fighters and make sure they do not get near the shuttles."

"Twin suns 11, what's your position, we are coming to you?" Jaina says quickly.

Leading Flight 3 to the right, Leet says "Twin 11, we are coming to you. "

Lets get the rest of these brfore they get here. Twins 5 in, I got a few more. All Twins report in, what are yals statius?

*egrog looks around* i'm scanning the furball, and it looks like we're outnumbered about 5 to 1 right now, so this'll be one hell of a party

"Twin 9 standing by. 3 flight is ready to go and meet with its missing member." Major Leet replied.

[jadeskywalker]

" We'll keep them busy here, you meet with 11." Jaina replies back.

Blasting their way to the middle of the furball, Leet, Zhadar and Zindra saw Soontir's clawcraft.

[Kapit]

*egrog flies into the middle of four skips, taking one by surprise and blasting away at it, turning back into the particles it came from* noce, scratch one skip

*no sooner had he said that when a plasma ball streaked across the front of his xwing, bringing his shields down to 25% and adding a nice burn mark along the nose* sithspit, there goes the shields! r5, keep me informed as to what's aroud!

*jinking and juking, egrog made his way out of the furball for a moment* looks like this is gonna be a tough one for us to get through...

*coms twin 11* soontir, is there anything else coming to help us?

Turning left and then right Jaina was trying to get a lock on the skip. Stay still for a sec. She got her lock and shot watching the skip blow up.
Leto comms in" I can't shake this one"...and then from in front of him Jaina had him already lock and he was gone. "Thanks XO..."Leto says. " No problem," Jaina says back. Leto nails another skip. " Yes, I agree this is going to get good."

[Soontir Solo]

"Twin 11 here leading Smuggler Alliance fighters. Twin Lead, Errant Venture and Farlander's Fleet are pushing the Vong back. Captain Kaarde is getting ready to go to hyperspace with the "cargo."

My squadrons are shot up and our docking with Errant Venture now. Be advised I think we should go ahead and get out of here before more Vong arrive. We have an opening, but for how much longer I don't know. Kaarde is leaving and Terrik will soon as well."

The remnants of the Terrik's Squadrons dock with Errant Venture, Kaarde jumps to hyperspace with all of his ships.

"Twin 11 to Mon Adapyne, General Farlander sir I think it is time to ger out of here before more Vong come. The Noghri are safe now."

"I think you are right Captain Solo, lets get moving." says General Farlander

Just then more Vong come out of hyperspace.

"You have got to be kidding me, All Alliance forces I have 8 more Vong capital ships coming out of hyperspace. Captain Terrik please remain here to back up General Farlander, your Star Destroyer is really needed now. General, can you handle this situation with just 3 Mon Cal Cruisers, 2 Bothan Assault Cruisers, 4 Assault Frigates, and the Errant Venture"

"Lets hope so Solo, Farlander out."

[Soontir Solo]

"General, I have on my screen now 6 Vong Cruisers and 10 Frigates. I hope you know what your doing General. Twin 11 rejoining Twin Suns Squadron now, lets get ready for more skips."

Launching torpedos at another skip, Leet said "Three flight form on me, let's protect Soontir's flank."

From across the furball a voice called out "Twin 12, I'm in trouble; I have four skips on my tail."

[Soontir Solo]

"Starfighter command this is Twin 11, can you assign a squadron of Y-Wings or another Bomber squadron to make a run on there cruisers? Twin Suns could escort them in. 1 Y-Wing Squadron that offloads all of its bombs on one of those cruisers should be able to destroy it."

"A wonderful idea Twin 11, Rock Squadron will make a run, Twin Suns will escort."

"Twin Lead, with us going in to cover the Y-Wings the Jedi in the squadron could try out some Shadow Bombs on some of those Frigates or Cruisers"

[jadeskywalker]

"6 where are you I have 5 on my tail!" Jaina comms in. Getting really hard to shake them off.

Zindra continued her evasive manuvers, however the four skips behind her continued attacking as if controlled by one mind. Overwhelmed by sheer numbers her squadron mates were each fighting for their own lives . . .

*egorg wipes sweat from his face* 2, this is 8, i'm on it! just give me a sec to evade............*explosion in background heard* alright! on my way 2!!!

Gavin comms in," I have 4 on my tail.
Jaina comms in to the Genereal Lowbacca. " Sir, what do we do now, I have 5 skips and 12 and 6 have 3 on them. What's the plan now,sir. How long til the others hit hyperspace?" Jaina questions trying to reach a desicion.

*egrog coms jaina* 2, i'm sorry, i can't make it, i picked up three on my way there!!! *an explosion is heard very close* AGH!!! i just lost an engine!! i'm getting ripped apart out here! i don't know if i can keep this up much longer!
*another explosion* that's just great, there goes r5.....

Zindra hears the chatter, her comrades are in trouble; but so is she. Watching her shields melt away at each hit, she wonders what she can do. Heading back into the furball she tries to use the other snubfighters as blockers.

" Do we know when they are jumping into hyperspace?" Jaina comms in barrel rolling to the left trying not to become a target with the 5 followong her.

"Soon I hope" said Leet, launching the last of his torpedoes.

Zindra's race against the skips was quickly running out, her shields were gone, and only her Jedi reflexes were keeping her alive.

[Kapit]

*egrog puts his ship into a wild spin that takes him in a wide arc* this is not lookin good!

*to squad* when are we blastin out?!

Zindra's X-Wing was now without shields - the next shot destroyed the ship itself.

"NNNOOO!" Yelled Leet.

[Kapit]

As Leet's anger was welling up within him, he watched as a squadron of Y-Wings came out of hyperspace and began launching torpedoes at a Vong Cruiser.

[Soontir Solo]

"Twin 11 here, General Farlander we can't stay out here any longer your outmatched."

"No we aren't Captain." says Farlander

Andjust then a fleet comes out of hyperspace.

"General Farlander my compliments, so I guess you did need my help." says Tenal Ka

"Your Majesty welcome to Honoghr, the Vong are waiting." says Farlander

"Twin Suns squadron I see, so we meet again. This is teh second time I have come to your aid." says Tenal Ka

"Welcome your Majesty, if I may make a suggestion you are primed to rip into the Vong right flank."

"I shall take your suggestion. Twin Suns form up and get out of the combat area if you can. My Hapan Squadrons will finish this up."



"Twin 11 here, so Farlander had a trick up his sleeve. Well I've got 3 more skips on me. Egrog I am starboard of you. Come around in front of me and I will wipe off teh skips from your back and you can do the same to me. Twin 11 out"

roger 11. i don't know how much i can do for you though, i'm not in much shape for this anymore

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir takes out the skips on Egrog and then forms up on his wing.

"Well the good news I got the skips off of you, the bad news is we have a whole squadron coming our way."

And just then the Smuggler Alliance Squadrons tear through the skips coming after Soontir and Egrog.

"I thought Captain Terrik had you guys out for the rest of the fight?"

"He sent us back out, with fuel and loaded with missiles. I have 18 fighters out here Captain, awaiting your commands. Compliments of Captain Terrik." says Smuggler Fighter

"Well form up on me and lets go ahead and help get the rest of Twin Suns out of this mess."

Soontir and Egrog take point with Booster's fighters covering them, going in to relieve teh rest of Twin Suns. They fly right through the skip pack, taking the skips off Jaina's and the rest of Twin Suns backs.

"I think we are all here now, those of us that survived anyway. Lets get out of here. Tenal Ka and her fighters have this under control. Lets dock with Mon Adapyne if thats alright with you Twin Lead. "Red 1, take the rest of the fighters and go back to Errant Venture, give Booster my compliments."

" Thanks guys," Jaina say releaved.
" Leet sorry about Zindra," Jaina says shocked.

"Thank you Jaina." Turning to the squadron frequency "Twin 9 to Twin Suns" Leet replied, "Dock with Mon Adapyne for rearming and refueling. Squadron meeting after that."

" yes, please do tell us what has been going on here, Soontir." Jaina says in the comm. " When we have our lil meeting," Jaina says very interested.

*egrog turned his xwing towards the MON ADAPYNE* alright! finally able to take this floating disaster back

" Lets just get on board so we can all discuss this together." Jaina says. Most of the Twins knew Jaina was mad as was working hard on trying not to be or sound mad.

Landing on the deck of the Mon Cal Cruiser, Leet shut down his X-Wing. The carbon scoring from this battle was pretty bad, but the damage was mostly cosmetic.

Landing on his feet, Leet worked out the muscle in his leg; it was incredibly sore.

Jaina landed not to far from Leet. She shut down and climbed out holding her side. As her feeet hit the floor she was already walking towards Leet. " Leet, sorry about Zindra. She was a great pilot. " Jaina says . " How's your leg?"

*egrog shakily sets down his xwing, hops out and looks over his ship* wonderful...looks like i'm out for awhile

*heads over to leet and jaina* how are you guys holding up?

"She was, do you realize this is our first loss since we have been here. I mean I knew that we were replacing losses when we joined. But with all of our close scrapes I just thought . . ." Leet's voice trailed off. "Anyway my leg is a little stiff, but not bad."

Turning to Egrog Leet replied "A little frustrated, sad."

*egrog puts his hand on leets shoulder* it'll be alright my friend, and it's best to not dwell on the past. i am sorry for our loss, but we did what we could, and nobody would ask anymore of us

Soontir docks his Clawcraft with Mon Adapyne. Climbs down from his fighter and looks it over quickly.

"I've got to send a message to Csilla, How about meeting in the Mess Hall in 15 minutes and I'll let everyone know what has gone on here."

Soontir walks away to Communications to send a message to his superior General Fel.

"Leet sorry about Zindra,"Gavin says as he graps only his arms. "I was doing good til I had four ships on my tail." Gavin sayas he turns to Egrog.
" Well it's off to the Mess Halls then." Jaina says. Jaina and the others walk to the Mess halls.

*as egrog follows everyone to the mess hall, he looks around the ship, trying to understand what just happened*

"Ok I am back. Here is the jist of it. 3 months ago the Vong took Honoghr. Most of the Noghri living there evacuated to other Outer Rim planets, some going to Mon Calamari actually. But the Noghri left around 200 Noghri behind in the Jungles and underground tunnels to act as a resistance force against the Vong. Needless to say they were very effective and the Vong were forced to bring in somewhere aroudn 10,000 more troops to quell the resistance. That is when I met with Booster Terrik in the Maw. He notified me of teh need to evacuate the resistance fighters. Apparently Kaarde has some dealings with the Noghri and has a past with them helping him with security and dealign with Grand Admiral Thrawn. Kaarde and his ships went down to evacuate the Noghri. They got bogged down there with the VOng moving forces to stop the evacuation. When he got up here teh Vong had come in with a large fleet. Kaarde brought in the rest of the fleet he had on hand, 3 Corvettes under his lieutenant Aves. We didn't have enough though. That is when you all and General Farlander came in. The rest is known."

"The Noghri are vitle to Republic Commando and Special Operations. We saved pretty much the entire resistance unit, not to mention all the information they ahve about Vong tactics and there own effective tactics against the Vong. Kaarde is bringing the Noghri to Mon Calamari right now. I am sorry for our loss but to be frank I am surprised this is our first casualty. We have been in enough battles that we should have had casualties before. We went up against over whelming odds and 11 of us 12 came out of it ok. Not too bad if you ask me. Not to mention over a dozen Vong capital ships and perhaps hundrds of Vong skips were destroyed by our forces"

*egrog stands up* we got dragged into a battle that we shouldn't have done in the first place! this was not our fight yet! we're a squadron under the new republic, not smugglers! i don't carre if they asked for our assistance, they should've asked the new republic first. you aren't the gateway to missions for our squadron, you're a pilot soontir.

*egrog slams his fist on the table* because of your wanting to do this, we lost a member today, an xwing, and now everyone's gonna be in a terrible mood. we should not have been here, this was not our fight!

*egrog slowly takes his seat, angry*

Jaina was leaned back up against the wall. " Soontir if you would not have taken off and been in the training where you were suppose to be,we wouldn't be here with one gone and an x-Wing out." Jaina says. " We were all suppose to be in the training room, and that included you,too. We were fully prepared for this mission, you know?"Jaina says trying to keep things udercontrol.

"The Smuggler Alliance has been recognized by the GFFA Military. They have aided you in your fight for you Republic from Dubrillion through Borleias. It was Booster Terrik who took care of all of your Jedi children after Yavin was taken. Not to mention him adn Kaarde were the ones taht saved teh children from Yavin to begin with. Do not lecture me Egrog about war and about is worth dying for. I have been in a cockpit since I was 16, fighting with the Chiss against more enemies there than you even know about. I did not ask any of you to come. Booster and Kaarde called for aid. General Farlander responded, like the honorable soldier he is. I am sorry Zindra died but everyone of us knows we may die anytime. We all take the chance of flying out there and participating in a battle. If you can't handle that and dont' recognize the dangers than so be it. I did what I had to do for the Noghri, for the Smuggler Alliance, for the GFFA, and most importantly for the sake of this galaxy. And I hold no regrets."

"Captain, we do understand the necessity of the mission. But to function our best, we need information before we jump into a fight. You seemed privy to information that you failed to relay to us." Leet said calmly. "Furthermore, you failed to follow the chain of command. What is the Chiss penalty for that?"

Jaina, I left with the permission of Fleet Command. And once again I hold no regrets. Had I not gone 200 Noghri might very well be dead right now.

Fleet Command classified this as a need to no basis Leet. This operation couldnt' be leaked to the Vong. Obviously it still was (no doubt because Smugglers were planning it) but I did what I did. I can't look back and see anything else I should have done differently. Once again I hold no regrets.

I reported taht I had business to take care. And Fleet Command didn't choose me for this mission over a General or anybody Major, it is simply how it happened because Booster Terrik came to me with information about the evac. I went to Fleet Commadn like Terrik asked me too. They deemed it classified and sent me on my way. If you or any of you have a problem with saving lives and defeating the enemy like we just did than take it up with the proper authorties, not me.

Jedi children who have been protected by the Smuggler Alliance for months now Jaina. If Errant Venture and the Smuggler Alliance had been defeated you can bet the Jedi children would have had that less protection. If it wasn't for Booster and Kaarde the Jedi children would all be dead right now.

Egrog we have lost one of our own, it is hard. It is regrettable. But it is war. We all know what could happen. Zindra was a fighter and died a fighter's death. There is no blame in this, none except towards the Vong. Don't pinpoint your anger at me, pinpoint it at the Vong.

"General Farlander's to start with. Rumor has it that Jaina Solo may be around for some of the missions. Part of this is psi-ops against the Vong, part to attack isolated outposts and convoys. We are also hunting for the Vong's leadership." Leet replied.

"Very good Major, Offensive actions with us having the numerical edge should help establish confidence and experience. If Jaina Solo comes around that would mean my immediate Chiss Superior Colonel Jagged Fel would be as well."

" Look we all had rough day and we lost a member today, I think everyone should go rest up, now!" Jaina ordered she turns to Soontir, " I have never doubted the Smugglers Alliance. I just wished we were more informed. that's all."

*egrog stands up slowly* sounds like a plan, methinks.

"I agree Soontir, however, my understanding is that Col. Fel and Major Solo are involved in a special project involving captured enemy equipment. There will be a briefing with mission specs tomorrow." Leet answered. "Egrog, you will join us in pounding the enemies."

"You don't have to tell me again. First stop for me is taking a shower then sleeping."

Soontir salutes then walks out, still unsure of what the Squadrons overall feelings of him are, but not regretting his actions at all.

*egrog stops* how sir? my ship is out for a long time, and the r5 is toast, there's no way they can ever salvage skippy....

" We will discuss this more when ever ones has calmed down a bit. Nobody is going to be focused right now. Not even I am focued right now."Jaina tears up thinking of her sister and knew deep inside Soontir did what he could. I t has been a rough day and she felt like her squd was falling apart right now.

Soontir is taking a shower, thinking about the coming fight and the possiblity of fighting alongside Colonel Fel for the first time in months.

Leet turns to Jaina "I am not sure where Captain Solo's loyalty lies." Seeing Jaina tear up, Leet puts his arm around her. "Are you doing ok Jaina?"

" Yeah, I know, Leet." Jaina says. I just hope this squadron doesn't tear itself apart with all this anger. Even I'm angry. Why do you think I called the meeting short." Jaina says with a little cocky smile.

Done with a shower Soontir heads towards his bunk ready to rest up.

Leet worried about his friend replied "We had our first squadron loss, add that to the amount of personal losses we've had; its no wonder we are at our breaking point."

*as egrog entered his room, he realized he was far too tense for sleep of any sort and wandered around looking for a training facility. he found one and entered it. he began beating the stuffing out of a hanging dummy*

Soontir falls asleep and dreams of his home back on Csilla. He would do whatever it took to make sure the Vong never destroyed his home and family.

*for twenty minutes, egrog never let up, punching and kicking and just trying to get out all of his anger on the dummy. it proved to be too much, and the dummy split open and broke*

Nodding to Jaina, Leet wandered to his room; thoughts of his family kept his brains fully occupied.

Comm goes off, Soontir jumps up and walks to the Comm.

"Yes, Captain Solo here."

"Captain this is General Soontir Fel, I read your report you sent about the engagement at Honoghr."

"Yes sir, the fight was hard and lengthy. But the victory was ours."

"Yes and good job with that, I have commed you because I have an opening here back on Csilla for a a Commander of a new squadron. With your experience against the Yuuzghan Vong you are an ideal choice."

"Sir, will this squadron be sent to Republic space to fight the Vong?"

"No Captain, if the Vong make a move into our space then we will respond but any official action of such size can not be taken." says General Fel

"Then sir I most respectfully request to remain here where I can fight the Yuuzghan Vong and gather inteligence for the Chiss."

"This is a great opportunity for you Captain, coming with an immediate promotino to Colonel." says General Fel

"Thank you sir but I can't leave here yet, not till the Vong are defeated. I am making a difference here and getting plenty of experience fighting the Vong. Hopefully I can help make sure the Vong never have a chance to move on Csilla."

"You are just like my son Captain, I hope you know what you are doing. Keep up the good fight Captain and continue to report."
says General Fel

"Yes sir, Thank you sir."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir lays awake for awhile, thinking about what he had just done. He knew he couldn't leave the fight now though. General Fel was right, he was a-lot like Jag. It was to be expected though.

Soontir clears his mind and goes back to sleep.

[Leto Aldriss]

Down in the hanar bay Leto halls oof and kicks a burnt X-wing access panel a good ten feet across the bay, clattering it against the far wall.

"Sithspit!" he exclaimed and then sank to the floor with his back to the bulkhead. Another injury, another death. "How ae we supposed to trust one another when one of their own can't follow propper chain of command.

*on his way back to his bunk, egrog hears a loud clattering in the hangar, and then somone yelling "sithspit" egrog looks in* hey leto, how are you feeling?

Jaina was in the Hanger bay checking her X-Wing when she heard Leto. She peeks around and saw him standing there. " Leto," Jaina says as she walks around her ship with her hair up and a few dirt spots on her face. She puts an arm around his shoulder. " Hey we will do fine, Leto. Yes, we are all mad. But I am not going to let this fall apart after we have come through some much." Jaina looks at Egrog. " What do you think?"

[Kapit]

*egrog shakes his head* i don't agree with what he did, i never will. it just does not seem like it was teh right thing to do, and makes me feel like he does what HE wants to do, regardless of his position in the squadron

" Egrog, I am mad myself. After my sister you guys are all I have left. I am mad and upset about Zindra, too. But I need you guys to focus on our next mission. Leet and I will decide what to do with Soontir, but til them I want you and Leto to get cleaned up and tell the rest of the Twins to meet in the breifing room for our next mission. We may not be ready to go out as a squad but...sithspit....Jaina says. But we are stuck together, regaurdless of one person in the squad who thinks they can do what they want, Egrog. My squad is all I have left and I will not sit here and it tear itself apart. We are stuck together regaurdless of the situation." Jaina says upset about the squad maybe not being able to hold itself together. " Go get cleaned up and Leet and I will be there soon to brief you guys up about the next mission, Ok, Egrog and Leto. Lets try to keep together and not tear ourselves apart. Lets try and make it throught the mission first, please." Jaina says as softly as she could. Sounding really worried about her squad.

*egorg frowns* i see your point, but it's gonna take me some time before i can completely come to grips with it. i don't like feeling like we brought into this for nor reason.

*egrog shakes his head* i think right now i would like to stay out of this mission if soontir's involved, i don't think i could him or myself with that. of course that's up to you, so i don't care either way, but i know how i feel

Soontir wakes up and heads off to the Mess Hall for breakfast before going to the meeting.

" Good , I'm glad you do see my point and you will do what is requested of you just like the rest, Egrog. Jaina says as nice as she can. Jaina the rest of the Twins go to the mess hall. Nobody spoke on the way to the mess hall just all the thoughts they had going through their minds.

As Soontir was eating the rest of squadron come in. Soontir salutes and then sits back down to finishi his meal.

*egrog grabbed some food, and decided to sit at the end of a table, trying to keep to himself. he didn't want another confrontation*

Soontir notices Egrog staying as far away from him as possible.

"Well it looks like he hasn't accepted what war is all about and why I had to do what I did, so be it." Soontir whispers to himself

*while he was eating, egrog wondered why this all happened. why did soontir run off and disobey a direct order? he's not supposed to do that, not unless it's a very good reason.....look at him look over here. i guess he can't accept the fact that he screwed up. heh*

Jaina waches Egrog and Soontir. Hopeing there will be no confrontation between them and the squad. Jaina was upset but she wasn't going to let the squad tear itself apart. Well not on her time and not before a mission. She was going to have to make it work somehow, someway.

*egrog finished his food and went and got rid of his tray. walking back he noticed soontir glaring him down. egrog sat down, closed his eyes, and thought about the simpler things in life*

Lowbacca saw most of Twin Suns eating at one of the tables at the mess hall. He decided to call a meeting. We defeated the Vong today but we took losses. I have to say Soontir that I wasn't to impressed with your leaving for Honoghr without telling me. Now we have lost one of our own! It was a victory but was it worth? I have that answer. Yes those Noghri resistance have vital information on key military targets. We will be hitting Fondor. Colonel Jaina Solo will be joining us until further notice.

"Yes, Sir!" Leet replied. Turning to Egrog he said "Since your regular ship is down for repairs you will be flying an A-wing."

[Soontir Solo]

"General, I wasn't allowed to tell you. Try to understand that. I am not the one to complain about with this. Talk to Admiral Sovv, General Farlander and the other Fleet Command people. I did what I was ordered to do. And Egrog as you can see had we not been there an opportunity would not be here for us like it is. To Fondor we go!"

"Gentlemen, we will begin the formal briefing in 15 minutes, we are waiting for some updated intelligence to be added to the maps." Leet informed them.

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well sir, I'll be back shortly then for the briefing."

Soontir heads out for a moment to send a comm message to Csilla.

Looking over the mission briefing Leet turns to Jade "This should be fun, two Jaina's on the same mission - what could go wrong?"

Jaina smiles. "Yeah, I am looking forward to working with Jaina Solo. So I guess you guys will have to call me Jade instead of Jaina for now."

"Yes, Major Jade!" Leet's smirk showed his attitude.

"Finally a little since of humor in the group. Well, when Soontir gets here we can start the breifing then, I guess."

Jaina stands up, looking at the table were the Twins were sitting at. Thinking just yesterday the were all just smiles. Jaina knew the squad was mad, includidng Jaina herself. But Jaina didn't want to be mad anymore. She realized she was angry. She looks at the group and cracks alittle smile and trys to get a few smiles from the group but didn't which she expected, " Now before this breifing starts I have a few things I would like to say." Jaina says. " Major Leet, I will say what I have to and you can breif everyone about the mission." Jaina says calmly.

" Can we tolorate each other until this mission is over with?" As she looks at Egrog. Lets do this for Zindra, what she would have wanted us to do. To continue with our missions and helping the people and species out there who need our help. Lets not let her death be the bad reason to tear this squad apart." Jaina says as she lowered her head and wispers,"that's something my sister would say." She looks at them. " You guys may think different about the both, but I do not. And I am mad about both their deaths and I am going to go out there and honor them both the best way I can and not sit here and watch you guys tear this squad apart. I can't just sit here and watch you guys do this." Jaina says looking at Egrog , Soontir and Leto. She will want us to go out there and give it our best, just like yesterday but with a loss." Jaina says sadly. I want you guys to think about that. Jaina took a deep breath.

"Major Leet, all yours for now."

Soontir hopes Egrog listens to her, and hopes Major Jade has no problems with him in this next mission. Time to listen to the Twin 9

Leet nods, driving emotion from his minds.

"Twin Suns, many of you are wondering why we have a mission to a New Repulic planet. The reason is simple, there have been a number of shipyard workers disappear. A highly placed intelligence source has let us know that the Peace Brigade has kidnapped them to hinder the war effort. They plan to meet with the Vong just inside the Fondor System.

We have intel as to the composition and timing of this meeting. The Peace Brigade will have five freighters, the Vong will have two troop transports, one frigate analog and 6 skips. At the same time the Vong will be probing the Fondor defenses from the other side of the system.

The local forces will be dealing with this diversion. Our job is simple, rescue the hostages and take prisoner any Peace Brigade member that we can.

Pointing to the holographic map projected in front of him, Leet continued:

"First Flight, under the General will be flying B-Wing's which will disable the ships and screen us from any additional capital ships.

"Second Flight, under Major Jade will escort the New Republic Commandos in their Assault Shuttles, and join them in boarding the frieghters. Colonel Skywalker will be with them.

Looking at the two Chiss in the audience, Zhadar and Soontir:

"Under my command, Third Flight will provide CAP for the group. We will attack the known skips, and any other snubfighter opposition.

"Any questions?"

[Soontir Solo]

"What kind of support do we have for this mission? Or to be more specific what will be coming in to take out the Frigate and troop transports?"

"In an effort to protect their source, Intel and Starfighter Command have ordered us to go it alone - we are not even allowed to call Fondor for support. It is supposed to look like our patrol "stumbled" onto this operation. Plus most of the Fondor defenses will be tied up defending against the probing attack." Replied Leet.

"I see, you do understand we are heavily outmatched Major? We shouldn't have a problem with the skips but 5 Freighters, a Vong Frigate and 2 Troop Transports? Perhaps 2 Flight should go in with the rest of us and try and take out some of those ships while the Assault Shuttles hold back till there isn't as much action. We can't risk losing an Assault Shuttle. Or maybe not all of 2 Flight should board. With a Commando unit they should only need one or two Jedi with them.?"

Jaina looked at Leet, " Well, should have know, I knew it was going to be that it would be that way, always is." Jaina says with a smerk. Flight 2 will help escort the commandos?" Jaina looks at Egrog, " You better get focused because I'll be needing your help Egrog."

"To answer your question Soontir, the frieghters are lighly armed. With the element of surprise should be able to use their Ion Cannons to disable them; the Assault Shuttles are also armed with Ion Cannons. Since their shields will be down for prisoner transfer, it should only take one volley to disable all the transports involved. The B's will then concentrate on the frigate." Leet responded. "We have one hour before we launch, May the Force be With Us!"

"See you guy in an hour, May the Force be with you," Jaina says walking towards Leet. The group left and it was just the two of them. " How do you think this is going to go, Major?" Jaina says couriously.

"Major I submit that Egrog shouldn't even go, he said so himself that he can't guarntee anything. That is something you say before a fight. His presence puts all of us at danger with the mind set he is in. And just so you know Egrog I didn't do what I did because of my standing as a Chiss, I did it because I was ordered to do so by Admiral Sovv and Fleet Command. Don't speak of things to which you know nothing about."

i'm not letting death blind it, i'm looking and talking, right now, to a pilot who abandoned his squadron to fight someone else's battle without so much as an explanation for our leaders, and on top of that, we all get called into it, and on top of it, we lose a member. that shows you have complete disregard for our chain of command

What part of you can't accept that I didn't abandon anybody! I went to Fleet Command with vital information, information that needed to go there first. Admiral Sovv and the Fleet Command ORDERED me not to tell my squadron. I was to say I was going to Kessel on orders, which I did, and that was all. You are blaming me for something that I couldn't help. If I could tell the squadron what I was doing I would have. But I know my duty and I follow orders.

And that wasn't someone else's battle. It was our battle. Every battle against the Yuuzghan Vong is our battle. Saving the Noghri was our battle. They are worth it. Helping Booster and Kaarde was worth it. With you being a Jedi you should have nothing but respect and thanks for them, seeing as they saved you kindred at Yavin 4. Had it not been for them the Jedi children would have been killed, not to mention Masters Kam Solusar and Tionne. You are blinded by your rage and teh need to blame someone. Either let go of your anger and accept the costs of war or leave!

"I have made my routine reports to my Chiss Commanders yes."

"Sir I had to send a message to the Chiss Command, it was vitally important. I regret that I had to violate the Communications blackout but I had no choice."

" Captains Leet is right." Jania says to them.

"Captain, let us get one thing straight, if you are going to serve with us you are not above the chain of command. Now Capt's you both are excellent pilots, do both of you feel that you are up for this mission?" Leet asked.

"Major Jade I do not believe Leet is right. This is a problem that must be taken care of here and now, one way or another. I don't think Egrog should be allowed out there. He is a danger to himself and the rest of us. He endangers this mission. He is not in the right frame of mind for this. You must see it!"

Major I was born ready for this mission. And about the communication, know that there are things in place now that can not be undone. Things that are happening that I can't prevent, but I must follow my orders and keep up my reports with the Chiss. I can't tell you what it is but I wouldn't break the communication blackout unless it was vitally important."

*heading towards his fighter, egrog stops soontir* look, you know i don't agree with what happened, and it's gonna bother me for some time, but you're right, there are more important things in life to worry about. all i ask is that you just be more careful about what you do, and try and at least be a part of the squadron. the feeling here is that you're on the outside a little. yeah, you're a great pilot, but, no offense, your social skills are a little lacking. so just come out and hang around with us, fighting isn't everything

To Major Leet: "Very well sir, but I tell you now my issues with the Chiss can't be told to you. Colonel Fel knows this, it was his father who ordered this. I understand your anger but the Chiss keep to themselves, something I have grown to resent at times to be honest. Colonel's father has his orders from the Chiss Ruling Families, and his son knows them and won't tell you what you want to know. To do so would be to dishonor his father and the Chiss.

I am going to begin pre-flight now. See you out there Major."


Captain Egrog, my mission here is to fight the Yuuzghan Vong. That is all I am here to do. I am a fighter. Prove to me you are as well." And with that Soontir heads to his fighter, leaving Egrog to think.

Soontir begins the pre-flight of his Clawcraft, thinking about what to do about his disagreements with Leet, Jaina, and General Lowbacca, assuming he feels the same as they do.

Soontir manuevers into space and makes a few barrel rolls to get warmed up.

"Just had to make sure my Clawcraft was in good working order."

" Well that went well,huh Leet." Jaina says walking to her ship. " I just hope they are up for this."

Leto had sat quietly through the meeting, but not peacefully. He was barely able to contain his rage as he heard Soontirr's explanation.

Rising forcefully from his seat, he carelessly sent waves through the force moving several chairs.

On his way down to the hangar he tried to clear his mind. He wished he new more about the Chiss society. Zhadar was not this self oriented.

Leto had been trying to read the truth of Soontirr's words as he spoke, but his reception was fuzzy. He felt that enerally speaking that what was said was true but that something was missing.

Jaina waited for a few of the squad to get there. Her flight 2 team were not all there.

Soontir waits for the others to come out of the docking bay, relieved Egrog has calmed down finally. Now wondering what Leto's thoughts are, and why he was silent throughout all of this.

*egrog leans back and closes his eyes, smiling* well, i'm glad this is over. one good thing is that i get to fly this awing.....nice and speedy, but a little weak....

*opens com to soontir* got a question for ya, cap. how's an awing compare to a clawcraft?

"The Chiss Clawcraft is the most superior fighter in the galaxy. Compared to an A-Wing it has better shields and weaponry, equal speed and more manueverbility. The A-Wing is a fine fighter in its own right but does not come close to what the Chiss have designed.

"Egrog was Leto coming? I haven't seen him since we left." Jaina asks wondering. This wasn't like Leto to be behind.

*egrog sighs* i guess i got awhile then. anyways, keep it in mind. just have some fun. the best relief for death and killing is pointless fun

As Leet went through his pre-flight check, one of his brains wondered how the unit would hold up during the coming battle.

"I sent this out on our squadron comm frequency, she should have heard it on her personal comm."

Twin 9 responded "5 minutes, Twin 11."

"Roger that Major."

Soontir wonders what is keeping Major Solo and Leto.

Arriving at the hangar, Leto coasted briskly to his X-wing. He felt eyes on him but payed them no mind.

He had 'Squeak' begin pre flight while he called up information on a data pad.

"Deck officer," called Leto to the young attendant. Once again Leto couldn't help but notice that the war was making officer's out of children.

"Yes Leiutenant?" asked the deck officer.

Let held out the data pad, "I'd like you to transmit this message to my mother on Sullust."

"Of course," Said the deck officer as they turned to leave.

Leto returned to preflight.

*egrog sees movement on the hanger* hey soontir, looks like we might be leavin sooner than we thought

"3 Flight, engage repulsorlifts and meet me at the staging area." Leet ordered. Feeling the thrum of the repulsorlifts Leet flew out of the docking bay into the void of space.

Jaina climbs in her ship. Watches the rest of the Twins doing their pre-fights. She comms to them, " Are we ready? May the force be with us all as she floated up and turned and flew out.

*egrog swings his awing around* all set here, 5, just waitin your go

May the force be with us. Leto thouht , load of good it does agaist the Vong.

Leto let his emotions ebb and flow over him. It was time to put the to good use.

With that he engaged his repulsorlifts and frmed up on the rest of the squadron.
