Alys looked at the ground. "I'm one of those examples, most likely." She studied Soontir. "And you're not alone in your assesment of politicians. But think of this. If the Chiss don't get more involved, when the Vong do turn to them, there migh not be anyone left to help them."

OOC: Is Soontir a human raised by Chiss or actual CHiss?

[Soontir Solo]

OOC: I am an actualy Chiss, blue through and through.

"Lieutenant I would say you are not one of those examples. You have courage, intelligence, and a sense of discpline and duty that is admiralable by the Chiss. And I never give complements lightly."

Soontir looked away again.

"The Chiss are very intelligent and know what they may face if the Vong totally defeat the other people of the galaxy. But the Chiss are very strong, stronger than any of you know. And the Chiss wouldn't wage a defensive war filled with poltical manuervering should they be attakced. This would offensive through and through, to the point of destroying the Vong utterly. Now of course my opinion about the Chiss is a bit bias but nonetheless my people know what they are doing, and if the time comes for action from the Chiss there will be plenty of it."

[Queso]

Alys let a rare smile touch her lips.

"Thank you Captain. Not everyone here beleives were fighting this war the right way. Thinking of the chism among the JEdi. For the same reason and some other more philosophical ones. With Coruscant fallen, I think we might see a change in the way things are being done."

[Soontir Solo]

"We shall see Lieutenant. We shall see."

Soontir stood there in silence, forcing himself to look at the dead Jedi in the escape pod, thinking about what this meant.

"Lieutenant stay here and make sure no one else see's this. I need to go find Major Leet and see what is going on, and have him come see this."

Soontir saluted and walked off.

[Cassus Fett]

"Be careful Egrog i can feel where he has been, the building is just over the next ridge" *Dake replies*

*CT stays back near to Leto*

*egrog decides to hang back behind everyone else* you guys go ahead first, i'll, uhhhh, hang back here, in the back....yeah

"Ok, do you want CT to stay with you?"

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir walked around and decided to go looking for Major Leet at his quarters, and if he wasn't there the bridge.

no thanks dake, i'm fine, i just....wanna hang back, that's all

[Cassus Fett]

"Ok" *Dake says as Leto, Trel, CT and himself slowly move towards the building, trying not to be noticed by the Vong guards outside the entrance*

[Kapit]

*egrog crouches down and looks around them, looking to see if anything was going on around them* we're all clear around us....

[Cassus Fett]

*whispers* CT, see if you can take those two guards out *asks Dake* One shot one kill, if you can

*CT targets both guards and fires, both guards drop down dead*

"Nice shot" Says Dake as all four of them make a run for the building "Egrog, come on, its safer if you stick with us"

i'm right behind you guys, just watching the back *egrog gets up and runs up to the rest of the group as they make a charge towards the building*

Leet left Flight Officer Zino to set up his new quarters and went looking for Soontir. Walking down the hall, he sees Soontir, more intense than ever.

"Sorry I wasn't able to respond to your comm earlier, Captain, we have a new Flight Officer and I had to get him settled. Were you able to get the escape pod open?"

[Soontir Solo]

"Don't apologize Major. And Yes we did get it open. You need to come see this. There is a Jedi inside. A dead Jedi who has wounds from what looks like electrical burning, as if from.........I believe you Jedi call it "Force Lightening." The burns are all over this Jedi's body. I think this must be a message from the Dark Jedi. Calling us out, or at least the Jedi out. But lets go see it. I have left Twin 12 there to make sure no one else see's it before you. And I warn you now its a gruesome sight sir."

With that Soontir and Leet walked to the escape and Leet peeked inside.

"Looks like our friend is sending us a message." Looking at the charred remains of what looked like a Mon Cal, Leet said: "He's on Duros, Master Luke said he was sending a someone to check it out. Aberd here paid with his life." Leet thought for a moment. "Do you know if Major Aldriss and the Knights returned yet?"

[Soontir Solo]

"They haven't yet sir. Still on Ithor as far as we know."

"Ok, we should prepare for this mission. I am afraid this may be another trap Soontir. And I'm afraid most of the Jedi are, uh, emotional because of the losses we've suffered." Leet began.

[Soontir Solo]

"I know most of the Jedi are very emotional right now. Even the non-Jedi are. What exactly is our command structure for this mission? Things have gotten very messed up with everything that has gone on. Am I too lead 3 Flight? And if so who exactly would be with me besides Alys?"

Pac Zino goes into his his quaters and places down his pilot bag on his bed. His room was, small, grey, and cozy, just like at home. On the right side of the bed, which was loacated in the middle, was a wooden desk and to the left was a drawer to put his clothes in. He started unpacking. He put his clothes, made up of a couple of tang-tops, jeans, and a wool poncho. He then put a dagger and a holo-book, a book for translating and saying different alien languages. The last thing he put on his desk was a miniature model of a swoop bike, the same one he rode when he was living on Bespin. Done packing, he grabbed the holo-book and began reading on how to speak Bocce, a language he always had trouble learning.

"Excellent question Captain. I am not sure, we need to wait to see if Leto's squadron returns unharmed. And check on the General's status for combat. Also, I think the Jedi has figured out who we are, so let's get our good craft out: Clawcraft, X-Wings and whatever else our people are flying these days; mothball the pirate squadrons." Leet paused, thinking "Let's start with the craft. I'll put in a call to the General while we switch out."

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well Major. If you want I can supervise the shipping of our fighters back here and the shipment of these fighters out of here. And do you know where this new pilot will be placed?"

"Yes, he will be Twin 7, Captain; my new wingman. Have him assist you in moving the ships about; and find out if he's as good a pilot as he thinks he is." Leet replied. "And Captain, good work; your conduct has been outstanding since your return. And your valor and skill are as good as ever."

Leaving Soontir, Leet went to find the General.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir walked over to the comm unit on the bridge of the frigate.

"This is Captain Solo of Twin Suns Squadron. We need our fighters delivered to our ship, all of them. Our pirate scheme is over for now. Myself and another pilot, Twin 7, will be flying to Mon Cal to escort the shipment back here. We will be there in 6 hours so have our ships ready to go in a freight. Understood Lieutenant?"

"Yes sir." said the lieutenant.

"Very well, Solo out."

Soontir then walked to find this new Flight Officer.

As Pac was reading though his Glactic Trnsalation holo-book, he heard his Twin number, Seven, being called. He hopped up from his bed, grabbed his family pendant, kissed it then put it in his pocket. He excited his room dressed in a light brown desert poncho and army cameo pants. "Finally, some action," he said to himslef as he walked through the halls, awaiting to meet Captain Solo.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir walked up to Flight Officer Zino

"Major Leet has assigned you to help me out for awhile. We are going to Mon Calmari. Once there we will be escorting a freight that will carry our real fighters back here. There shouldn't be a problem but it is something that needs to be done. We leave immediately. Lets go."

With that Soontir led the way to the hangar where Soontir jumped into his Tie Defender.

While running to his A-Wing, Pac cockily said to himself, "This should be a nothing."

He boarded his A-Wing and put on his flight helmet, waiting for Captain Solo's command to lift off.

[Soontir Solo]

"Lets do it."

Soontir exited the frigate, set the hyperspace coordinates and went to hyperspace.

"Lets ride!"

The A-Wing slowly lifted from the hangar and blasted through the frigate. He set the coordinates and felt the blood rush through his veins as he reached his favorite part of space travel - hyperspace.

[Soontir Solo]

They came out of hyperspace 5 and a half hours later

"Mon Cal Control this is Captain Solo. I assume the freight is ready?"

"Yes Captain Solo it is coming up from planet side now and has your fighters stored." said the control officer.

"Thank you conrol. Flight Officer Zino when the ship comes up I'll settle in a little behind and to starboard of it, you settle in a little behind and portside of it. We'll go to hyperspace as soon as it gets up here. In the case we have any problems, such as being pulled out of hyperspace we are to do whatever we can to ensure the survivl of the freight."

"Roger Captain. We got this all under control," Pac said cockily, rotating 360 degrees twice before forming up on Captain Solo's wing, awaiting for the freight. "Besides, whatever tries to attck this freight gotta go though us."

[Soontir Solo]

"Confidence is good Zino, arrogance is not. Remember that."

Soontir let some silence past.

"The freighter is here. It registers as the Coral Kappa. Coral Kappa I am sending you the hyperspace coordinates now. To hyperspace on my mark. 3, 2, 1, Mark!"

And Soontir went to hyperspace, with Twin 7 and the freighter with him.

Jaina stirred as she heard the cell door open, hands binded. She was in and out of causionness since she has been on the ship, for the past few days, with the Dark Jedi and the Vongs. Asking her questions she refused to answer and then she would be in pain more.

A Vong that came inside and walked towards the Dark Jedi. " We have just landed on Duros. We also found out the we have Lt. Col. Jaina Jade of the Knights." he said as he looked her way and then looked back at the Dark Jedi. " She use to Major of the Twin Suns. You brother Dake is in her squardon." he said.

Jaina eyes widened. " Oh man! They know who I am know and who my wingmates are." she thought to herself.

The Dark Jedi turned towards her. " So, you know my brother, do you?" he asks.

Jaina just looked at him not answering.

" Doesn't matter!" he said as two Vongs walked in. " They will keep you company, while I'll go send some sort of rumor you are here, since you are dead and they are not looking for you. If you will not help me find them.....then I will lure them here by using you as bait." he says as he gave her a cocky smile and a Vong hit her on her head and knocks her out cold.

Leet stopped, was that Jade he had felt in the force for a brief instant? Concentrating he felt through the force, towards Duros.

[Kapit]

*egrog stops running immediately and stands up straight, turning around to look at the stars* JAINA! she's alive! SHE'S ALIVE! SHE'S ALIVE!

In hyperspace, Pac replies back to Captain Solo, "Sorry, I'm just a cocky person by nature."

Leet went to the communications room and gave the code for immediate return to all teams. He hoped they would hurry.

"Uhhh....Captain Solo, I got a transmission from our frigate. It's the code for a immediate return. Your command."

*egrog stops and gets the other three to follow him back behind the hill and picks up his comm, talking to leet* did you feel it too? i can't believe it! we'll be back as soon as possible!

*he puts down the comm* let's go! we can't wait any longer! we have to leave now!

Finding the General Leet begins: "Sir, I felt Col. Jade, through the force." Explaining to him the details of the escape pod Leet concludes "Sir, I would to like to mount a rescue mission, I know its probably a trap; but we must try."

The General stands up to his full Wookie height "Yes, and this time he will have to face me as well. What the status of our squadrons?"

Leet replied "Everyone should be back within 5 hours, sir."

[Edgeomatic]

"It seems like an emergency Captain. I'm going, I'll see you there," Pac said as he punches in the destatination code and soon after jumps into hyperspace.

Five hours later, he is docking into the frigate hangar. He quickly jumps out of his A-Wing and runs to the bridge. He sees Captain Leet. "You called?" Pac asked.

((Soontir Solo, if you wanted me to stay with you for the frigate, I'll just edit this post.))

OOC: We were already on our way back Edge, that is our destination with the freight.


Soontir, Pac, and the freight came out of hyperspace near the ship.

"Zino go ahead and dock. I'll stay out here for awhile and keep an eye on the unloading and loading process from out here. Inform Major Leet that the task was successful. The Pirate ships are being loaded on the freighter and our old fighters are being unloaded onto the frigate. Once the Knights return we can get there fighters switched out as well."

As Soontir and Pac, then the Knights emerged from hyperspace Major Leet made a quick announcement "Officer's meeting as soon as everything is aboard." Going to a private frequency he asked Soontir "Captain what's a rough estimate on unload/reload time?"

*egrog, trel, leto and dake retreated back to their fighters and took off from ithor, and after meeting no resistance, they jumped into hyperspace* this is great! i cannot wait to see her again!

[Soontir Solo]

"Major all of our old fighters are unloaded. The pirate ships the Knights came back in are being loaded now. The freighter should be away within an hour. I am coming in now for the meeting sir. See you shortly."

"Thank you Captain." Turning to Col. Fel he said "Well we are now all present and accounted for." With that General Lowbacca, Col. Fel, Col. Jaina Solo and Major Leet headed for the meeting.

*the knights come out of hyperspace and landed on the frigate. egrog leaps from his fighter as soon as he can* leet! she's alive!

Leet replies "Yes, I know Egrog, just hurry up and get down here."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir landed his fighter in the docking bay. One of the freighters crew came by.

"Captain is that Tie Defender going with us as well?" the crewman asked

Soontir looked at the Tie Defender

"I don't think so Private. She is a great fighter and I think she may come in handy. And should any of us here lose our fighter to damage or whatnot it will be good to have a Tie Defender ready. She is the second best fighter in the galaxy. How much longer Private?"

"Just a few more minutes Captain." said the crewman

"Very well, good job."

Soontir saluted and walked to the meeting.

*knight squad runs to the meeting* we're here, what's going on?

With everyone accounted for, the General begins: "Jaina Jade appears to be alive. Every Jedi on this ship can attest to that fact. Our Dark Jedi has left us clues as to her whereabouts: Duros. So we are going to mount a rescue operation. I'll turn it over to Major Leet to fill in the details."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir listened carefully.

"Duro? They better give us an entire battle fleet to pull this off." Soontir thinks to himself.

[Kapit]

*egrog nods slowly, his anticipation and excitement growing by the minute*

"Thank You General. As you all are aware, Duro will be a hard nut to crack. Right now we are scheduled to join with elements of two New Republic taskforces, and the Hapan fleet. They are doing a standard hit and fade operation to both test and wear down the Vong forces there." Leet began.

[Soontir Solo]

"Who commands these taskforces sir? Admiral Kre'fey?"

[Kapit]

*egrog nods* sounds fun, but how are we getting to the surface?

"Yes Captain he will, and Lt. Cmdr I was coming to that. General Lowbacca will be leading the Jedi groundside, aboard a cloak protected transport. Col. Fel will lead the Non-Jedi, using the Twins and Knights call signs. Captain Solo will command the remnents of the Twins, while Col. Fel commands the Knights. Any questions?"

[Kapit]

*egrog looks around nervously* when are we going? soon?

[Soontir Solo]

"How many will I have under my command then?"

[Jjm3233]

"Egrog, the offensive was scheduled for tomorrow, so as soon as we get to the rally point and become ready - it begins." Looking at a list in his hands Leet said "Captain you should have Captain Neen, Lt. Hearst, Lt. Jolding, Lt. Marius and our new Flight Officer with you. Col. Fel will have Trel and the Chiss pilots."

*egrog gets up from his seat* then let's go now! what're we waiting for?

Leet sighed "Well Egrog, its called distance. See the ship has to go through hyperspace . . ."

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well Major."

[Kapit]

distance never stopped us before! let's go! *runs out the door. when he notices no one is following, he walks back in* umm, yeah?

"As part of the deception, Captain Solo you all should make enough comm chatter for the whole squadron, and refer to yourself as Twin Lead." Leet continued "We want them to think we are all up fighting our way down, not sneaking in the back door."

Jaina woke up as she was being moved to a living building on Duros. They made it to the cell dentition in the building and threw her down on the ground.

" Welcome to you new home now, for the time being." the Dark Jedi said as he entered behind her. " Want to talk and tell me where the Knights and Twin Suns are with my brother?" he asks as he hopes she will talk.

Jaina closes her eyes and reaches out for the first wingmate on her mind. " Leet!" Jaina says softly. " Leet? Ahhh.....your best friend. What a friend he is for leaving you. I have to say." he said.

Jaina lifted her head and looked at the dark jedi. " Do not talk about him like that. You do not know him. If he gets one word that I am alive he will come." she said as her anger grew more.

" Then maybe you will watch him die." he said coldly.

" I am not talking. No, no, no! You can't make me no matter what you do!" she said sharply as she closes her eyes and and reaches out again to Leet hoping he could feel something from her.

" Leet, Leto, Zhadar and you are close friends, now since you all have been together since the Twin Suns. Well, one is dead and the others think you are dead. I would say you are close friends."

" He did what I would have done. I blame nobody in my squadron for what has happened. I am still apart of the Twin Suns even though I am in the Knight squadron and don't ask me again, you know my answer already. I will not betray them like this. You can't make me!" she said as she looked away angry.

" Very well, then!" he said as two vongs walked inside the room. The Dark Jedi walked over to him and looked at Jaina as she sat on the ground watching them.

" She is up and ready for more. No matter what kepp the pain coming and no matter what happens keep her down and weak enough not to fight. Her sqaudrons should be here in the next day or so. So, I need you to her down to where we can get in here, to capture them. I have to go make things are in order. Stay busy with her and hurt her badly for refusing to say anything at all." the Dark Jedi said to the Vongs as he left the room.

Jaina looked at the two Vongs walking towards her. " This is going to fun." he said as he looked at Jaina.

[DarthSolo]

Trel had been happy to hear the news of Jaina Jade being alive, but that joy was quickly overriden by the difficulty of the task getting her back. Duro was heavily armed by the Yuuzhan Vong fleet, and the vong, alongside a Dark Jedi, would not be a fun trip.

He also found himself rather intimidated at being under Col. Jagged Fel and flying with all Chiss. Soontir Solo intimidated him enough, and now to be working with an entire squadron.... He took a deep breath and let it wash away when he saw the excitement in his friend Egrog's face.

[Cassus Fett]

"Leto, when we reach Duros i must confront my brother" *Dake askes*

*Dake hears his brother speak to him through the force* "i have your friend brother, join me or die but you will watch your friend die first"

"Nooooooo, brother" *Dake shouts out*

Leet felt something, a pain from someone. But who? The answer hit him like Death Star, Jaina. Anger welled up inside him, but after some calming techniques he was back under control. Looking around, Leet asked himself, did no one else sense it?

Walking over to Dake and Leto, Leet is shocked to hear Dake scream 'No Brother!"

[Queso]

Alys shook her head as if shaking something from it as she hears Dake scream. She stands up and goes over to him.

"Dake? What's wrong?" she asks concerned. "Calm down."

[Cassus Fett]

"He is talking to me through the force. If i dont turn to darkside or face him, Jaina will......die" *Dake turns to Leto, Alys and Leet*

[Cassus Fett]

Bendick (Dakes brother Dake, you cant hide. I will find you and your friends, i will destroy you all. But first you will witness the deaths of your friends

"NO" *Dake cries out again falling to the floor* "You cannot win, i will stop you"

[Queso]

Alys kneals donw beside him. "Its alright Dake, It's alright"

[Cassus Fett]

*Hugs Alys* Im glad your here

[Queso]

Alys studied Dake before wrapping her arms around him. "YOu'll be fine."

[Kapit]

*egrog watches as dake struggles with his brother through the Force. egrog closes his eyes and tries to help soothe dake through the Force*

Dake resists Egrog help at first but realise he needs it and allows him to help

"When are we leaving?"

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir looked at Chan then the rest of the squadron.

"Major Leet sir if you will excuse me I have some things to do. And Lt. Maruis you will be Twin 4 for this flight commanding the second flight, I'll command the first flight."

And with that Soontir saluted and walked out.

"Time to make my report to General Fel and talk to Colonel Fel."

Alys looked at Egrog weirdly then helps Dake up.

Hearing Soontir, she shoots a strtled look to his back.


Glancing at the others, "Did I hear him right?"

[Kapit]

*egrog walks over to alys smiling* congratulations, lieutenant!

[Queso]

"Alys slid and sat on the floor.
"But I don't know how! All my life I've always followed orders."

[Kapit]

*egrog shakes his head* that's the point! you've earned it!

[Queso]

Alys glanced up.

"How have I earned it?"

[Kapit]

*looking around nervously* uh, well, you worked hard to get where you are....and, uh, the fact that soontir told you was something too...he's never done anything like that before

[Queso]

"MAybe the fact I told him my mind instead of being afraid of him has something to do with that." Alys pushed herself up. "Joy."

[Kapit]

*egrog smiles* do i detect a hint of sarcasm there, alys?

[Queso]

Needed the force to see that, sir? *Alys quipped back.

Trel watched feeling helpless as Dake struggled with his brother. He wanted to congratulate Alys on the responsibilities she had gained, but he could see in her face she didn't want them. He still also had no idea thow to handle flying with the Chiss. They were all so straight and orderly, and Trel was anything but. He was nothing but a young alcoholic among a bunch of Jedi. He hadn't done anything besides graduate near the top of his class, and now he found himself in one of the most elite squadrons in this war, flying with a group of stranger who would probably already be looking down their nose at him, simply because he was human. He didn't know if he'd be able to really live up to their standards. It was coming time he really proved himself as a pilot. This was his opportunity, but was he up to it?

[Cassus Fett]

*still trying to fight his brother through the force* Well when are we leaving? *nobody answers again* Fine i will leave know without your help *he heads towards his R-Wing, where R7 and CT are waiting*

OOC:im just keep the story going, Dake is struggling and it has only been Alys and Egrog who tried to help, Soontir walked of not caring and Trel stood helplessly.

Alys grabbed Dake's arm. "You are not going anywhere, Lt. Chan." she snapped her tone one that broke no arguement. "What you are going to do is get a griip on your emotions before they lead you down a path you don't want to travel. Understood?"

*Dake shakes his head* Your right *still with his brother going through his head* Ill try and fight it

Twins and Knights come to the briefing room.

Alys gave a cheeky grin. "There is no try. There is only do or do not."

*Dake forces a smile out before heading to the briefing room* I wonder what he wants? *Dake says to Alys while fighting of the thoughts of his brother*

Who knows? *she replys* Don't worry. You'll do what's right. *alys says*

Twins and Knights we have been tasked with rescuing one of our squadmates Jaina Jade. Dake here just felt that if we do not hurry she will be killed. That's why tommorrow we will be launching a raid on Duro. We have two New Republic tasksforces and Basically the entire Hapan navy. Have fun tonight because it's going to be bloody. Well Jaina I hope you're ready for us.

We'll have 3 12 noghri squads helping us. I'll be leading the entire ground combat force. If any of the people who will be helping us in the air talk to Soontir for any questions.

OOC: Edeomatic if you want to kill off Hunter Hearst this is the perfect mission.
I'll be back on friday so please don't start any of the major action until then.

*egrog walks into the briefing room, but was quite anxious. he wanted to find jaina, and he couldn't see what this was doing to help*

Jaina lifted her head and looked at the two vongs in there with her. She grinned ever so big at them. " You Vongs are in much trouble now!" she said grinning as she chuckled.

Bendick I know you plan an attack, even though i do not know when it will happen yet, it will fail and your friends will die before you

*Dake shakes his head* No!

*To Jaina, through the force* Hold in thier my friend we will come, and my brother will fail

Fun? Trel thought to himself? How can anyone possibly have much fun! The General had just announced that the battle was going to be bloody. Trel didn't see much fun in sitting around, waiting for a battle in which he would likely die flying with a squadron of humanoids he only knew to be cold and distant. If he fell in combat, it would be a very lonely death, and that was not a fun thought. Niether was the thought of Jaina in captivity of some crazed dark Jedi on a Yuuzhan Vong controlled world. What are the Yuuzhan Vong doing working with a dark Jedi, or anyone or thing they would consider an 'abominatino', anyway? The whole situation just didn't seem fun at all.

Walking over to Leto, Leet said "We need to talk, in private. Meet me in my quarters later." Walking over to Dake he said "If we have time we need to work on your lightsaber technique, some more."

"Thank you General Fel. This is much appreciated sir. Solo out."

With that Soontir smiled and walked away.

"The Vong are in for a surprise now."

Soontir said with satisfaction, knowing if things got bad he had some hidden pieces of battle stowed away to help out.

"I wish I could tell them but I can't for now, it is unofficial and won't be used unlesss the situation is dire."

Soontir walked to the conference room.

Walking over to Soontir, Leet said "Is everything ready to go Soontir?"

Pac, still sitting, starts thinking to himself, This will be a piece of cake, at least for me, but then again, I never met the Yuzahhn (SP?) Vong before.

He sat up. "Well, I'm gona go get a drink at the bar.", Pac said standing up and walking toward the bar, hoping no one realized he was three years underaged.

"As ready as they can be Major. I only have half a squadron at my command but with the added stength coming from the task forces and Tenal Ka we shouldn't have a problem handling the skips. I would be more concerned about the ground team if I were you. You guys will need to get out of there quickly. The Vong must have thousands of warriors on the planets, and more than likely have rakamats and tens of thousands of slave warriors. And I hope you know you all can't allow Chan to go against this Dark Jedi alone. Nobody what he says. The whole mission rests on destroying this Dark Jedi, and that part of the mission shouldn't be given to a mere apprentice. Just my opinion of course sir."

Leet nodded "My thought as well, Captain. The whole Jedi force should stick together. If Dake wants to pull a Vader with his brother - he deserves the chance. But Egrog and I will be there if the situation gets out of hand."

"So you mean to give him a chance to bring his brother back from the Dark Side as you Jedi put it? And if he succeeds in that what then? Will this Dark Jedi be brought up on charges for the murder of Zhadar? Or the capture of Colonel Jade?"

"Tough questions Captain. I think he will stand trial, but if your brother was on the wrongside of things; and you had a chance for his redemption; even just a spiritual/metaphysical redemption, wouldn't you try?" Leet paused with a gleam in his eye "But I don't think he will."

The two Vongs looked at Jaina. " You know something that we need to know?" one said as they approached her.

" No, there isn't!" she said as her eyes didn't move off the two.

" The two Vongs looked at each other. " I think she is messing with us!"one said.

Jaina shurgged up her shoulders. " I could be!" she replies back and chuckles at the Vongs.

"I don't know how I would feel Major. But I know no matter what if he is captured he should be tried and put in a prison. Zhadar was a Chiss and that would be the least we would do."

"I agree Captain, I'll be the first in line to testify against him." Leet replied.

Soontir nodded.

"Personally I hope the Dark Jedi is killed. It would be just."

Soontir looked back at Major.

"Forgive me Major, it is not my place to make such opinions known. I was out of place. It won't happen again."

*egrog starts pacing back and forth, getting more and more anxious to leave as soon as possible*

"Nevertheless sir it was my mistake. Now if you will excuse me sir I have some planning to do for the upcoming fight, I need to speak with Colonel Fel and brief Alys."

Rolling his eyes, Leet wondered how the Chiss made friends. Then he went to find Leto.

*egrog heads to the training room, unable to contain his energy anymore. he starts attacking a dummy, trying his best to releave his tension and energy*

After getting a drink, Pac walks over to his quaters and lies down on the bed. Dressed in a course, woolen, brown poncho made out of Bantha wool with a plain, white tang top underneath it. He starts toying around with his dagger, side swiping. He was prwetty confident about the rescue mission coming being the cocky person that he is.

Soontir walks down the hall and walks by the training room seeing Egrog in there.

"Restless Lt. Commander?"

*egrog stops for a moment* like no other! i really, really, want to go, but i guess that's expected, huh? *he smiles slightly, still slightly saddened*

"Just remember patience is a virtue sir."

And with that Soontir walked on.

Sitting in his room, Leet tried meditating, but his worry and anger kept welling up inside of him. After an hour of trying to fight the feelings Leet gave in. Reveling in his hatred, Leet reached out to the Dark Jedi "I am coming for you." Was the only thought that he had.

in the middle of his work out, egrog felt a surge of dark energy from leet* don't do it leet, don't give in.....

Soontir met up with Colonel Fel and went over the battle plan. He then sent a message to Alys to meet him tommorow morning before they arrive at the rendevous to go over the battle.

Leet felt Egrog's push, backing away from the abyss he felt better. And then worried that he was that comfortable in the Dark Side. Literally of two minds; Leet contemplated the Force.

*egrog finally sat back, tired out but still anxious to go, and go now* i can't take this much longer, i NEED to get to her

"Yo, Egrog, buddy," trel greeted as he came up behind his restless friend. 'Whats up?"

The Dark Jedi walked in. " Any luck?" he asks.

" No, she is refusing to talk." the replied back. Jaina closes her eyes and took a deep breath, as she looked back up at the Dark Jedi.

" Well, then I guess you know what to do." he said as he looked at Jaina.

The vong approched her as the other grabbed her. She gave in to her anger and she threw head back and hit the Vong behind her and he went down. " When I said you Vongs are in trouble, it was not because of the knights and Twin Suns. It was me I was referring to." she said as lighting came out from the tips of her fingers and fried the Vong in front of her and with the other she fried the other Vong." Jaina turned and looked at the Dark Jedi. " Looks, like I am your girl to find them and bring back your brother." she said coldly lifting her head up and looked at the Dark Jedi Chan.

The Dark Jedi rose and smiled big. " Good." he said grinning ever so big..

While he was meditating, Leet felt a surge of darkside power. Jaina???? Leet was taken aback, why, what could have caused this?

trel's eyes widened. This was a situation he had absolutely no idea how to handle. The stress and worries about the mission and flying with the Chiss completely left his mind. He stared at Egrog, dreading the news he had just heard. "Can you help her? can you reach out to her? Tell her you love her!" He exclaimed unsuredly, ".....OR SOMETHING!"

i.....i don't know if i can....there's so much hate and anger....i just don't know.....

"Well...." he stuttered, then found himself, "at least try!" he grabbed his friend. "Comon buddy! You can do this!"

Reaching out Leet could feel the conflict, Jaina's hate - Egrog's affection; he wondered which would win out.

Trel stood over his friend, again feeling helpless. These Jedi always seemed to make him feel helpless.

The Dark Jedi looked at Jaina. " Come we have much to do before they arrive here." he said as he extended his arm towads the cell door as he motined her out the cell.

As they walked out of the dention block. Jaina listened to what all the Dark Jedi had to say. " Your mission is to bring me my brother, Dake. any questions?"

"Yes, my master!" she said as she took a few steps back behind him and stood there til he ordered her to leave. They were in a conference room as some Vongs entered.

Jaina kept her place by the Dark Jedi. As the Dark Jedi and the Vongs we discussion the coming mission and reports on the things being prepared. Jaina felt Egrog trying to reach herthrough the Force, she closes her eyes and she pushes him out, focusing on what is going on right now.

As she heard that General Lowbacca will be leading the ground troops. She stepped up closer to the Dark Jedi as he turned on a hologram of the building.

*egrog lets out a long sigh and lays on his back* she just pushed me away trel

Leet went deeper into the Force, Jaina's anger was like a blinding nova in the voids of space. Finally breaking free Leet went looking for Egrog, quickly finding him he said "She's gone over."

Trel felt hope slink away and hide in some dark corner, possibly not to be seen for a long time. The situation became disgustingly dark, and Trel felt as helpless as ever. This rescue mission could be more doomed then he thought before.

Leet didn't respond, just watched as Egrog held back his tears. Leet knew what Master Luke had said about the dark side; but the experience was so much more.

Jaina leand towards the Dark Jedi. " I know the General. He will have all the Jedi's gorunded to rescue me and face you, while the non-Jedi's will be aerial and with as much backup assisatance they can get. They will come and try to get me first and when they have me thay will go and face you." she said as she looked at the hologragh in front of her and takes a deep breath and pushes all her care and love away.

The Dark Jedi looked at Jaina. " Are you sure?" he said as he looked at her.

" I know so! The only thing I can say is that I do not know when they are coming." she replies back.

The dark Jedi dismissed all the Vongs that in the conference room. I'll show you to the room you will be styaing in. Jaina followed him to the room she will be in. Repot back to the conferance room in 5 hours. " Yes, sir." she relplies back.

As the dark jedi left the room, Jaina stood there and she saw window and walked over to the window she puts her head down in confusion but felt herself stronger with the darkside of the force. " If I contiue to do this I will be lost for sure but if I don't all I care about will be lost or destroyed and I will not let that happen!" she thought to herself and her anger raged even more as she looked out the window.

Leet nodded at Egrog, not knowing what to say. "How about we find some food?" Leet asked.

Soontir had made all the necessary arrangements with Colonel Fel. Now he just had to wait for the fight.

Alys shook her head, her eyes worried. leaving the mess she went to find Captain Solo.

Soontir saw Alys.

"Lieutenant I hope your read. You are in command over Lt. Jolding and the new Flight Officer, Zino. You will be Twin 4, with them being Twin 5 and 6. I'll command the other trio. Stay calm and collected and there won't be a problem. We will be fighting alongside Colonel Fel and the Chiss so I wouldn't worry about much, on this day you will see a squadron of Chiss fight. It will be an experience to remember I assure you. Any questions?"

Alys shook her head. "Sir, may i talk to you? I think something is wrong and i need some help?"

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir looked into her eyes.

"Speak Lieutenant. What is wrong?"

[Queso]

"I'm not sure, sir. Everytime something has happened in the Force, according to the Jedi, it's like I feel it to. THe thing is I'm not a jedi. And it's creeping me out."

[Soontir Solo]

"Perhaps you are force sensitive and you simply never knew it. If I were you I would go talk to Major Leet about this, but after the battle. Now isn't the time to get distracted. Any thing else Lieutenant?"

[Queso]

"Why did you chose me to be the flight leader?"

[Soontir Solo]

"Because out of the pilots available to be a flight leader I have the most confidence in you. Your skill and sense of duty made you an obvious choice."

[Queso]

Alys thought about that. He obviously didn't know about her past...come to think about no one did. "I'll do my best."

*egrog looks at leet* food? at a time like this? i'm not hungry

"Wow," Trel finally found something to say, "that's a first." He shook his head and found his toungue fully. "I'll get some food with you, Leet, if Egrog's not up to it."

"I am sure your performance will be fine Lieutenant." With that Soontir walked away.

"Thank you sir." she said fishing her commlink out. "Lt. Zolding and Flight Officer Zino, please meet me in the simm room. asap. MArius out."

She walked to the simm room

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto awoke in the hallway outside his quarters. When the swell of the darkside had surged through Jaina, Leto had tried to fight it with reassuring feelings and the knowledge that they were coming. When she tried to shut him out he stubbornly fought back until he passed out.

He opened his eyes to see one of the enlisted soldiers looking down at him.

"No," he said quitely, as if the thought had stolen the strength from him.

Shoving the poor tech from his path as he rose, he grabbed his comm.

"Major Aldriss to Major Leet," Leto said frantically, "Leet, please tell me I dreamed that wave of dark energy?"

Dake awoke after seeing a vision of his brother and Jaina standing over the bodies of his friends with himself injured infront of them both

"NO!" Dake screams out *still in the briefing room*

Bendick Your friend has fallen to the Darkside, and you will be next or you will die with your friends

"Never, i will never"

Bendick Then you will die aswell

Soontir sat in his room meditating, waiting for the battle to commence.

Jaina walked away from the window and went and got cleaned up. when she got out she some freah cloths on her bunk. She put them on and noticed a black cloak and a lightsaber on top of the cloak. She put the cloak on and activated the lightsaber and it was red and she held it tight. then she saw her reflection and looked and smiled. She puts her head down and closes her eyes.

She put her head down and deactavated the lightsaber and clipped it on her belt. She felt Leto push ever so stubbornly to her. " I have to do this!" she made herself present to Leet and Leto and shut herself out and buried her feelings ever so deeply to where she couldn't feel them and left her quarters to the conferance room.

Dake heads out of the briefing room, still fighting his brother thoughts and the will of the Darkside, in search of Leto

Soontir finally ended his meditation hours early and headed to the mess hall.

Looking at Egrog, Leet picked up his Comm "Major Leto, meet me in my room in five minutes." Turning to Egrog he said "Go with Trel and eat, you'll need your strength."

*egrog sits up* i'm not hungry

[Leto Aldriss]

"Affirmative," replied Leto, "I'm on my way."

Leto quickly appologized to the tech he up-ended and broke into a run. On his way through the hall he saw Dake heading his way. Motioning for him to follow, Leto said, "It looks as if your brother has made himself quite an impression on Colonel Jade, I hope it is one that we can repair."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir noticed Leto running somewhere.

"Who knows what has happened now."

Seeing Leto and Dake enter the room, Leet said "I take it you felt that as well?"

With nothing else to do Soontir decided to engage in his favorite wartime activity.....simulators.

"Leet ive been fighting his thoughts all day through the force, he is trying to build the anger up inside of me"

Leet nodded, his next sentance was drowned on by the announcement "All groups prepare for reversion. Twins and Knights to your fighters; Jedi to the shuttle bay."

Leet sighed, and said "Don't let him get to you, Dake. Well then shall we go catch a shuttle to our frieghter?"

"Yes sir" *nodding* "Are we Jedi using transport and not our own ships?"

[Soontir Solo]

"Twin Suns you heard the order get to your fighters. The moment we revert exit the ship and form up on me."

Soontir ran off and jumped in his Clawcraft.

*Dake shakes his head, then grabs his stuff and heads for the hangar where the shuttle is waiting*

Leto looked to Leet, then Ergog, and lastly Dake. The varrying degrees of anguish were insidiously high, threatening to engulf the whole group. Instead of trying to fight the emotions of his group he instead tried to direct there feelings into a determination to recover their lost friend.

Leto felt some degree of success, particularly from Leet and Ergog, Dake however had his feelings buried in family matters, and Leto didn't feel he was going to be sidetracked.

Building his strength inward, Leto sent a short very meaningful message across space to Jaina and her alone, "I didn't pull you off that Peace Brigade ship to have it end this way! Come back to us!"

[Cassus Fett]

*Dake looks back at Leto showing him by the look on his face that he will not get sidetracked*

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir sat in his Clawcraft, ready for the fight. He looked at the faces of everyone. Too many seemed to have faces of either anguish, anger, or nervousness.

He opened up a secret comm frequency to Csilla.

"Lieutenant is everything in place?"

"Yes sir, General Fel is in position. Give him the word and he goes in." said the Chiss control officer

"Very well Lieutenant. Solo out."

Yes, the Vong would rue the day they helped murder a Chiss Warrior.

Jaina stopped in her tracks. She felt Leto and she closes her eyes and opened herself up to him. Letting him know she was losing control of herself and scared that she would destroy them. She has seen the vision and then everything was closed off as the Bendick walked towards her.

*egrog slowly walked to his fighter, less anxious now and more nervous then anything. things had gotten worse, much worse, and he was unsure what to do, what to think, how to act. it was almost too much for him, but he reached into the Force to calm himself down, trying to remain focused on the mission. he didn't need to reach much farther to sense the growing dark cloud that was jaina. he hoped she could sense his presence, hoped that it would help her come back*

Soontir began to meditate to clear his mind.

Trying to get control of herself, she saw the vision again." NO!"she softly says as she got weak kneed, her stomach tied in knots and went back to the room she was in.

" Go to your quarters until I call upon you." he told her and he turned and left.

She left for her quarters as she heard him tell the two Vongs to stand by her door, nothing goes in and she doesn't come out, as she continued walking. When she walked inside she stood at the window looking up at the sky. She opened herself up to anyone who could feel her. " Hurry! It is getting harder to fight back." she thought.

*egrog was almost in his fighter when a wave of pain hits him through the Force* JAINA!!!!!!! *the pain is so much that he lets go of the ladder and falls to the hangar floor, landing on his arm*

Lowbacca felt Jaina's anuish and opened himself totally to the force giving Jaina all his strength and telling her that it's going to be alright.
*Jaina tell us when and where to attack* he called out to her.

This is the General I have just been informed that the 36 Nohgri that will be accompanying us have been trained in Jedi style fighting. So they will have vibro blades instead of lightsabers but will fight like Jedi.

Jaina felt the General, she closed her eyes. " They are already on alert for you. Ground there are some passages that are not gaurded in the back of the building." as she contiued to try calm down.

Lowbacca felt Jaina and siad *can you do anything to distract them*

Lowbacca recieved the comm of 30 seconds till reversion from hyperspace. *Okay boys and girls this is it.*

Jaina opened herself up and smiled. " You know I can think of something." she concentrated to the General.

*Do your best; that's all I ask* Lowbacca sent.

Jaina walked to her door and opened it and actived her the lightsaber and sliced the two Vongs heads off and drug their bodies inside the room kicking their heads inside, too. She broke off in a run through the hallway.

She stopped at a room she had watched alot of boxes and things being moved in and out of. She walked into the room and noticed alot of explosives. She saw a couple of bags and put as much explosives she could in them. and the set the one in the room of exploves with the timer set for a couple of hours. She hoped enough time for when they get here and it will destract them from the squadrons when they arrive. she left the room.

*egrog sat in his x-wing, trying to get is arm feeling better. it hurt, and he was worried about it being broken. he heard the generals comm and tried to settle himself down, but to no avail*

Soontir was ready for anything, and felt very sure of himself knowing the hidden cards he had now.

The reversion from hyperspace was normal as can be. Lowbacca looked at his sensor and told Leet *There is only hlf the amount of vong here as expected. Lucky I hope for us.* The flight to Duro was uneventful except when they hit the atmosphere. *Twins lead you better hurry the rest of the Vong fleet just reverted from hyperspace* *Okay all ground troops we hopefully won't have too much trouble but you never know. We will all stay together. We will have at least four Jedi in the front myself included. I'm sorry to say this Egrog and Dake but I'm going to have to ask you to stay in the middle of the formation until we have Jaina and defeated Bendick. Or If one of us gets hurt I or Leet will choose who goes in the front. 15 Noghri will take the rear. 7 will be in the front with me and the other 14 will bein the middle of the formation. May the force be with you all*

Jaina sent a warning about the explosives in the building. " You want a distraction, you have it, General." as she ducked down for cover as the building exploded.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir came out of hyperspace. The 5 other pilots of Twin Suns formed up on him.

"Twin Suns this is Twin Lead. Looks like the Vong have around a dozen cruisers and 2 dozen frigates. Kre'fey and the Hapans are moving to engage them. It should be an even fight for awhile but if the Vong bring in reinforcements there could be trouble. Move up and engage coralskippers at will. Stay with your flight leader when possible."

Soontir led teh 1st Flight straight into the fight where New Republic and Hapan fighters were already engaging the skips.

*egrog looks at his comm, angry* wonderful, just wonderful.....

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir said out loud

"This is going to be a long battle Twin Suns. I hope you all had plenty of sleep and have plenty of energy."

Soontir dropped in behind a skip that was chasing after one of the Chiss and peppered it with fire. Making a corkscrew turn he came up a pair of skips making a run against Ralroost.

"1st Flight some skips are trying to make a run on Ralroost, hand it to um."

[jadeskywalker]

As the building exploded, Jaina was down on the as low as she could. She stood up and yells. " Yeah! There's a good distraction for a while! " she said loudy as three Vongs saw here and ran after her.

[Kapit]

*egrog looks at the scopes and sees a huge explosion shoot up on the surface* sir, we've got one hell of a fireworks show going on on the surface

Jaina took out the blaster she took from the room and started shooting as she stood her ground and then broke into a run when she saw more them coming her way. She saw an empty building and ran in there as they kept running forward. Only two came in the building she was in.

The room she ran in had a piece of board she could hang upside down and snoeak on them as they came inside the room she was in. She took the lightsaber she had and stabbed into their heads and she dropped to the ground.

She could feel the Dark Jedi looking for her.

"Alright people let's get to ground!" Leet ordered. The frieghter and its escorts landed near the large explosion Jaina had begun. As he prepared to exit, Leet told Soontir "Twin Lead, begin your attacks, May the Force be With You!"

Nodding at the General, Leet and and the Jedi began moving out, looking for an easy way in.

[Kapit]

*egrog steps onto duros surface, and he can feel the darkness everywhere. he watches as the general, leet, and leto walk off. he shakes his head and turns to dake* cmon, let's go before they get too far ahead *he says angrily*

Jaina kept her present low. She could feel the Dark Jedi around but where, she thought to herself as she looked around for him. Then she suddenly found herself surrounded by the Vongs.

" Put down your blaster!" he said.

They all took a step forward to her. Jaina gritted her teeth and took a deep breath as she actived the lightsaber she had got, started a parry stance as her anger grew more. And attacked the Vongs.

Pac, in his A-Wing, saw the Skippers shooting at Ralroost. He turned his A-Wing so he could come from the side of the skipper. He fired continously at one as he watched it blow up in a ball of fire. He then went for the other skipper. He flew a little behind it then goes underneath it. He shoots at it, and watches as the laser tears through the Skipper.

As they approached the doorway, Leet said "Jedi let's get this over with." His green blade extending Leet yelled "For Zhadar!"

Leet's headlong rush, was joined by the howling of the General, and the yelling of his friends; who joined him in the fray.

*egrog activates his lightsaber and walks forward, taking out the first vong he sees. it was a bloodbath, everyone was scattered around, hacking and slashing every vong they could find. the noghri were jumping on top of vong and clawing them. egrog tried not to pay too much attention, he had to watch out for himself*

Jaina flenches as she heard the screams of the others. She was distracted and a Vong came up and hit her and she went down. She came up really fast and looked at the other vongs around her with the lightsaber in her hand. As she killed the other Vongs as fast as she could and brased herself up against the wall and closed her eyes wishing the vision would go away.

" No, i will not destroy them!" she said softly.

" you will rather you like it or not. You see the vision, you can't change it." the dark jedi said to her through the force. Jaina gritted her teeth harder.

Trel thoughts wanted to be with Egrog and the Jedi finding Jaina, but he had to concentrate. "vanguard 13," came a Chiss voice over the comm, "break port."
"Copy," Trel said as he obeyed and a volley of plasma shot past him. "Thanks."
There was no reply, his Chiss wingmate just kept flying. THe battle had been intense, and Trel was flying decently, vaping a few, but these Chiss really were impressive, though so cold. There seemed to be little to no emotion in their voices.
"12," trel called, "You have a pair on your tail. I'm coming in."
"Copy," 12 said as he started to maneuver. The Skips were surrounding the clawcraft with plasma, but none of it connected. Trel's X-Wing came behind the pursing skips and started scattering fire into their afts. Eventually the two broke, but not after Trel had sent a proton torpedo after them. The torpedo detonated and destroyed on of the skips, and the other limped away injured.
"You're clear."
Again, there was no reply from the Chiss.

Lowbacca's voice was starting to howl it was starting to become a general melee (no pun intended) the fight seemed to be going well until he was attacking a Vong warrior and all seemed to be going well until his ooglith masquer came. * Jaina S. help me it's Bendick* he yelled
as Bendick lit his lightsaber.

OOC: Lowbacca has a translator similar to Piggy's in the X-wing series.

Jaina quickly ran to Lowbacca's aid. He was doing well but Jaina could tell that Bendick was just tiring him down. Jaina attacked him and she could see that Bendick was surprised in the style she attacked. But his surprise was soon over. She parried an aggresive attack then returned with an attack herself which created an opening for Lowbacca to attack.

Lowie attacked and caught Bendick by surprise. He nicked his arm and Bendick howled then force jump away. *Leet, Dake, Jaina after him.* * Egrog you're second in command until Leet comes back. Let's get Jaina J.

Trel felt the pound of a plasma projectile nail his shiels and he cursed to himself. "I've got a tail," he announced.
"Copy, 13, stay on your present course," came 12's voice. Trel obeyed, only juking and jolting a little bit. "break starboard on my mark, I'm coming nose to nose with you."
"Copy," Trel said and looked to see a clawcraft flying directly at him at top speed.
"Mark," 12 ordered.
Trel banked his X-Wing hard starboard and saw the clawcraft open hard fire on the un-suspecting coralskipper. The skip exploding almost immediately sending chunks of coral throughout the area.
Trel looked and saw the clawcraft go deep into the bulk of the coral debris. He didn't see him come out. "12?" he questioned worriedly. "12?" After a few more moments silence Trel opened up to Col. Fel. "Leader, I've lost 12."
"Copy, lt. Karisma," came Jag's military voice.
"I'm sorry sir, he died saving me."
"Don't be sorry, keep flying. He got cocky. It was his own fault."
After a cold silence Trel replied, "Copy."

It was a blur of action. More like the Noghri were a blur of action. Parry, strike, these were iexpierinced warriors Lowbacca thought. The vong were dead before we even knew it. Lowbacca started to run when he doubled over in pain. He noticed Egrog dounling over too. Then Lowbacca felt Jaina's pain. Come on we have to hurry and get Jaina before it's to late.

Broadcasting on all frequencies * All ground foces prepare to retreat out of the system. Another wave of Vong just reverted from hyperspace.*

Lowbacca looked at Egrog I'm staying until the job's done. Are you?
*All ground forces this is General Lowbacca we have been ordered to get off planet I am staying. It's your call. Lowbacca heard a gravelly voice behind him * General we will stay. We swore an oath to defend the Jedi at all costs.*

Leto tuned himself in to Jade's presence in the Force. Feeling the conflicting light and dark was like trying to swim against a strong current. It threatened to take him into the dark as well.

Leto grounded himself to the things that brought him peace, friends, comrades, they all counted on him and would support him to the end.

Keeping himself tuned into her he used it as a guide to her location.

Unfortunately, her location had an obstacle, in fact, it had two.

The two Vong stood a full head taller than Leto, and much as he'd hate to admit it, but the one on the right looked smart too.

The dumber looking of the two came on in a rush, his associate staying back, assessing the situation.

Leto ignited his lightsaber, and prepared for the attack. However, just as his opponent narrowed the gap, he drew back and lashed out with his Amphistaff as a whip, scoring a stinging nick across his cheek as he hastily avoided the full force of the blow.

Leto used the force to hurl a storm of rocks and soil, blinding his opponent to his reposte and slash. "Now you have a new set of brand to show the Gods," Leto said, nursing the cut on his cheek as the Vong fell, cut across the middle from Leto's backhand slash.

Leaving a dozen Noghri to guard the only entrance to the room, the two Jedi head out; both of them looking for a fight.
