She looked at him. " You are right he does have the simple life."

*egorg nods his head, sullen again* i guess it's time to sleep

" Sleep, get up and start with an update in the breifing room and then maybe a test run for the shuttle."

meetings are always fun, woo hoo *he says, trying to crack a grin but not succeding*

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked at him. " Are you still thinking about that feeling?" she says starting to worry about him.

[Kapit]

*egrog nods, looking at the floor*

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina puts her arm around his shoulder and came in. She placed her hand on his cheek and brought his face to hers. " Talk to me about it. What do you think it could mean? A warning or something from the past, the future?" she asks him seriouly in a calm and soft voice.

" I feel it is a warning or something, really. I have had this kind of feeling before but not like this." she said to him.

[Kapit]

*egrog looks away* i really have no idea, it's just this feeling of...well, of darkness, like something bad is going to happen soon, and i mean bad

She looked at him as her eyes widend.

[Kapit]

yeah.....it's just bothering me a lot, i don't know why.....

Jaina wrapped her arms around him. " Get some rest, we have a busy day tomorrow and this on your mind isn't going to help. Get some rest." she says as he layed his head in her lap and she just sat there, no knowing what to think.

[DarthSolo]

"Well," Trel said at Reli's door again, "I guess this is good night."
"Yeah," she said and hugged him tightly, "I guess it is."
"I had fun. I really appreciate your friendship," he said with her head under his chin.
"Yeah, me too." She pulled herself away and smiled at him genuinely. Her right finger found its way to his nose for a poke. "Good night, Trel." She smiled again and walked in her door.
"good night."

*egrog lays back and closes his eyes, falling into a fitful sleep*

Jaina watched him as he fell asleep, she looked over at George and smiles. He had her thinking of what he has said.

*turning to alys "Alys, im sorry i acted like a fool but can you forgive me and give me one more chance?"

As the next morning dawned, Leet got up and prepared for the briefing. Finding Captain Aldan, he and Leet began going over the addition of proton torpedo launchers.

[Soontir Solo]

OOC: Jade, When you say getting the shuttle ready do you actually mean the frigate?

Soontir had gotten up very early and was going over the Tie Situation with the Engineers. He saw Leet and Aldan walking but decided to stick with what he was doing. If they needed to talk to him they would.

Jaina woke up and woke up Egrog. " We better get to going We have the breifing." she said as she stood up.

[Soontir Solo]

"Sir we are having problems with this Tie Fighter over here. I think this one needs a whole new overhaul done to the circuitry, it would probably a good 6 hours to get it done, then an additional 2 to have the shields put on."

"Well lets do it then, but I'll help you with this so hopefully it can get done faster."


Soontir and the Engineer began to rewire the entire Tie Fighter, Soontir getting all greased up just like the mechanics.

[Queso]

Alys raised an eyebrow. "I think I might be able to. Just don't scare me like that."

[Soontir Solo]

3 hours later Soontir and the Engineer had the Tie Figher completely recircuited

"Good job Lieutenant, your a fine mechanic."

"No offense sir but I am surprised you are. Most of the pilots around here can fly but dont' know a thing about keeping the fighters together sir." said the engineer

"The Chiss have all the pilots trained in maintenance before even flying a ship. It is very disciplined, quite unlike the New Republic Armed Forces. Well I am going to go to the bridge and have a look around, I'll be back shortly."

Soontir walked to the bridge and found it in good working order, the night crew still on the job for another hour or so but not looking sluggish.

[Kapit]

*egrog woke up, tired but otherwise okay* the meeting isn't going anywhere....

[jadeskywalker]

" I'll see you there. I am going to get cleaned up and then be in the breifing room." she says as smiled and left.

[Kapit]

bye jaina.....*sits up and shakes his head back and forth a couple times* damn, am i tired....

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina smiles. " I'll see you in the breifing room."

[Cassus Fett]

"Hey Soontir" *Dake walks over* "Why didnt you come and find me when you were working on the TIE's im an excellent engineer, i could have made a few modifications to them to. Im into RnD" *smiles* Do you need any help with anything in the hangar?"

[Queso]

Alys headed for the mess hall. Sitting in a corner with a cup of caff, she closed her eyes and nodded off

[Soontir Solo]

"I was not aware of your engineering capabilities. And there really isn't any thing special that has needed to be done besides retrofitting these Ties with shields. There are 3 more left that are being worked on, feel free to help out with them if you choose. And don't call me Soontir, I wish to be called Captain Solo or sir."

And with that Soontir decided it was time to take his newly designed Tie Defender out for a spin and see how the frigate paint job is going from the outside.

[Cassus Fett]

"Ok sir" *Dake headed to the hangar and began work on one of the TIE's*

"Why we using TIE's for" He muttered to himself i might see if they dont mind having some Mandalorians on the ship, just incase we get boarded or need to board another vessel, ill ask next time i see Captain Solo

Alys shook herself awake with a start and glanced around. Standing up and stretching Alys headed for the hanger bay. She might as well log some fly time.

[Cassus Fett]

"Hey Alys" *standing up* "Can we talk know?" *smiles*

*As he moves over to Alys CT and R7 carry on we the modifications*

[Queso]

Alys glanced at dake. "Yeah, sure. What's on your mind?" She wanders over to her fighter looking it over.

[Cassus Fett]

"i was stupid before, i should of acted the way i did when the Vong Cruiser attacked us!" *sighs* "I hope you will forgive me cause i care about you and i need you in my life, i mean i need you more than a friend. If you get what i mean"

[Queso]

Alys turned and studied Dake. "I understand. And I wouldn't mind being more than friends. Want to help me prep my fighter?"

[Cassus Fett]

Yeah sure *Dake starts to help Alys*

[Queso]

Alys goes over her fighter. "have you seen Captain Solo?"

[Cassus Fett]

"Yeah he went to test the TIE Defender"

[Queso]

Alys nodded. "I'm supposed to be his wingmate but we have yet to fly together. Maybe I'll go and see if he wants to do whatever."

[Cassus Fett]

"Ok" *smiles at alys*

Jaina soon got ready to meet Leet and Captain Alden at the beifing room. As dhe left her quarters she was quiet and had alot of thought about the mission as she walked into the breifing room she sat in the nearest chair and lays her head on the table and waits.

Alys nods as she climbs into her fighter. getting her helmet on and making a systems check, she gets clearence to depart from control.

Circling above the freighter, Alys comms, Solo. "Twin 11, Captain, I was wondering if you'd like to go through some manuevers? Twin 12 out."

Leet waited as the Twins, Knights and Bridge Officer's entered the briefing. Leet knew many of them were confused as to the pland that had been made, but hoped he could iron out the difficulties.

*egrog walks in, still kinda tired, and even though the feeling was gone, it was still with him*

[Soontir Solo]

"Perhaps later 12, right now there is a briefing and I for one will be there."

Soontir took his Defender in and went to the briefing room. He walked in, salutes, and finds a seat to himself.

Leet nods to Jaina, and waits for her to open the meeting and introduce the new officers.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir looked around, wondering when someone was going to begin, there was still some work to be done.

Seeing that Jaina was distracted, Leet began: "Twins and Knights, welcome. I would like to introduce Captain Aldan, who will command our ship and NRI Agent Ba'len. They will be assisting us in our mission.

Our cover is that of a pirate gang, to that end we have two squadrons of snubfighters to use in place of our regular craft. Half are ties, half are a mixed bag of older ships. We will give out assignments later.

The last place the Dark Jedi was tracked was Ithor, so we are starting there. Questions?"

[Soontir Solo]

"What exactly do you expect to accomplish there? The planet is a dead world. It holds no life sir."

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked at everyone. " They said the Dark Jedi landed there, so I figured it would be a start."

[Soontir Solo]

"So we land there, you all use the force to try and figure out where he was, and then what?"

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked at him. " Your a Chiss, figure it out. We are to hunt the Dark Jedi, capture it some how or bring him or her back dead. It there is nothing on Ithor then we go to Duros and check things out there." she says as she looks at everyone.

[Kapit]

*egrog grins, trying not to show too much amusement*

[Soontir Solo]

"I asked a simple question Colonel. I meant no offense. I ask my questions straightforward, things get done easier that way. I said nothing personal but if you insult my heritage again........"

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto, carefully considering the situation looked to both Major Leet and Colonel Jade, "The only good thing about this Dark Jedi is that we can sense him though the force."

He crossed the floor to the nearby console, "The main question is whether the Dark Jedi is still in Vong custody or does he have free reign, If he does then this will make the hunt for him much harder."

"And another question that comes to mind is why go to Ithor in the first place," Leto added, "the majority of Ithor's ecosystem was completely annihilated after the battle against Shedao Shai."

[jadeskywalker]

" I answered your question, captain." she said asa she took a little offence about him talking about the force." How is the Ferighter and the putting the proton torpedos moving along." she continues talking.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir looked hard at the Colonel, decided to choose to ignore her comment for now.

"I assume you mean the frigate, and as far as the proton torpedo installation that isn't something I was assigned to oversee. I have been overseeing the modification of the Ties. And Major Aldriss it wasn't just the majority. It was literally everything."

[Kapit]

*egrog shakes his head, watching the sparks fly*

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked hard back at him. " How many are left for the shields and maintainace to be complete on them?"

[Soontir Solo]

"All but three of the Ties are shielded, those 3 are being worked on as we speak. Within 1 hour they should be done. Whoever is assigned to a Tie will then need to pick a design scheme for there Tie to make it look deadly, like a pirate would have it. I have already had this done for my Tie Defender. So in 1 hour they will be in perfect working order, ready to be assigned and painted."

Jaina looked at him. " Excellet Work, Captain."

[Soontir Solo]

"I only did my duty Colonel. Which pilots will be assigned the Ties? I would recommend just giving Twin Suns squadron the Ties."

[Soontir Solo]

"On second thought no I don't. I think a pirate gang would be a mixed lot so each squadron should have a mixture of Ties and other fighters. But all of the pilots need to have a fighter assigned to them nonetheless. I have a Tie Defender set-up perfectly for myself and I have experience with them in the past."

"To answer your earlier question Captain, we have no idea why he would land on Ithor. It may be a good idea if we consider that this may be a trap.

As for pilots, All non-jedi pilots are being assigned to Ties. The Jedi are taking the other ships. The reason is that the Jedi will have to land on planet and track this Jedi. Many of the other ships have better atmospheric capabilities. Captain Solo will lead this team, and the Chiss will join him." Leet responded.

[Soontir Solo]

"I am to be given command of an entire squadron of Ties for this mission? I just wish to clarify this."

"Yes Captain, you will be. It will include all non-Jedi pilots, our new Chiss pilots, as well as any Jedi who does not wish to volunteer.

As of now the Jedi volunteers are myself, Col. Jade, Lt. Cdr. Kaputski, Major Leto, and Major Zhadar. Some of the other force sensitives and Jedi have not answered as to their preference." Leet responded.

[jadeskywalker]

" I don't see a problem with it, unless you do." she says with a little smile.

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well Major, now you know I haven't been back with the squadron for very long and things have been hectic. So who exactly are the non-Jedi out of the bunch? And right now I have 12 Ties at my disposal with 4 Chiss Pilots taking 4 of those and myself taking 1 so that leaves 7 spots open."

[jadeskywalker]

" That will be Lt.Trel Kaarisma, Lt. Alys Marius for non-jedi's. We need to know which Jedis will Volunteer."

[Soontir Solo]

"I thought Dake Chan was a non-Jedi as well?"

[Jjm3233]

"The non-Jedi are Hunter, Rece, Alys and Trel. Tlo has elected to go with you. Flight Officer Chan, who is a padawan, has not told us his plans." Leet replied.

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well Major, but perhaps the Flight Officer should be given an order. He seems to be fairly high strung. In that last engagement I was worried about him, he seemed nervous and overly excited."

[Leto Aldriss]

"Groundside for me," Leto said, thinking that this Dark Jedi wont be the only thing to deal with, "I could use a little time dirt down."

[Soontir Solo]

"Dirt will be pretty much all there is down there too Major Aldriss." Soontir said with some sadness behind his voice.

"I understand your concern Captain. Then Flight Officer Chan will accompany us on the barren wonderland of Ithor." Leet replied.

Jaina smiles and nods her head at Leto but distracted of what is going to happen.

Jaina looked at Leet and nods her head. Lt. Commander and Major Aldriss are with us, too." she says with a smile.

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well. We have 6 Tie Fighters, 3 Defenders, 2 Interceptors, and 1 Bomber. With 10 pilots to fill them. I don't want anyone out there in the Bomber, I actually want your permission to have the engineers do a major overhaul on that to turn it in to more of a fighter than a Bomber. So I'll be in One Defender and Alys and Trel will be in the two Interceptors. They will make one shield trio with myself. Tlo, Hunter, and Rece will make another shield trio with Tlo being in a defender and the other two being in Fighters. The Chiss will take the other defender and 3 normal fighters. Is this battle plan alright with you Major Leet and you Colonel Jade?"

"Yes, Captain that does. Re-engineered fighters would also help us to keep our cover." Leet said. "Which ships do the Jedi want?"

[Soontir Solo]

"I also want to have the Tie Squadron called Blood Squadron, numbered 1-10 in the order I listed when saying who would get which fighter. Is that satisfactory? And when do we leave for Ithor?"

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked at the Captain. " Your plan is fine, Captain."

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well."

"Two Mon Cal days. It will take us that long to finish modifications on the Neb-B and finish loading supplies.

Also, Col. Solo and Col. Fel are currently visiting Master Skywalker; getting that list of missing Jedi's for us. When they return, Col. Fel will be flying with you Captain. He will be flying as your XO." Leet said.

[Kapit]

*egrog begins grinning* i don't know....you're putting soontir in charge, he's already got this pirate mindset going on, i think we may have to watch him.....i heard him say "yar" the other day....

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina shook her head at Egrog.

[Soontir Solo]

"Only in your dreams Lieutenant Commander. And Major if Colonel Fel will be here I can't command this mission. He must command it. It would be dishonorable for a Chiss to be in command over someone who is higher rank. Perhaps either I should be his XO or Colonel Fel could escort all of you down there and provide support ground side from his fighter while I command the squadron in space making sure no one sneaks up on us takes us out. Just a thought."

"Anyway" Leet said rolling his eyes at Egrog "Captain, that is the way Col. Fel requested it, you and he may discuss it when he rejoins us. The Col.'s and I will abide by what you two decide.

Back to ships, I have always wanted a highly modified Cloak fighter."

Jaina watched Leet and Solo talk. She wasn't going interup them.

[Soontir Solo]

"Very well sir. I have no more questions or comments. Sorry for taking up so much time during the briefing."

[jadeskywalker]

" Always good to ask questions, I always say, Captain. The more you know the better."

'Captain, don't apologize. Your observations and suggestions are helpful. If you will take Blood Squadron, the Jedi still need to divvy up the ships and make some plans for the ground assault." Leet said.

[Soontir Solo]

"The squadron can begin simming at once, and we can start now sir with your permission."

[jadeskywalker]

" Very well, Captain. Everyone with Captain Solo, meet him at the Sims. when you leave here." she says as she nods her head at Solo.

[Soontir Solo]

"All those with me meet me in the simulation room in 10 minutes. I'll be going to talk to the Chiss Pilots right now and I'll meet you there." Soontir salutes and leaves.

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina sat in the chair next to Leet. " This is going to be tough mission?" she says as she leans closer to him.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir begins speaking to the Chiss in there native language. He told them about the briefing and what there place in the mission would be. They all went to the Simulation room together, 5 Chiss going to meet up with 5 non-Chiss.

"This should be interesting."

"I am not sure Jaina, I have a bad feeling about this." Leet says. "Ok, Zhadar and I have the Cloaks, who wants what? We still have: 4 headhunters, 3 preybirds and 3 Y-Wings."

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked at Leet. " Egrog and I will take a Headhunter." she says smiling. " Should we have these painted, too?" she asks.

[Kapit]

*egrog sits down* i heard you've got a bad feeling too, huh leet?

[Queso]

Alys ran through some target practicing before heading back to the ship. LAnding she nodded at the techs and headed for some sims. If Solo was as good as everyone said she might want to get in as much time as possible before the crap hit the fan.

[Soontir Solo]

The New Blood Squadron had simmed for about an hour now, going up against Vong Skis, gunships, and corvette analogs and were looking pretty good. The Chiss added a new dimension to things that really worked well.

[DarthSolo]

Trel had been flying in the sim for a long time, and was getting tired of it. He vaped another skip and did a routine bank. "ya know, i dont think these sims are quite accurate." It was all seeming to easy to him. "Eh, im bored. Time to die." He let a skip get on his tail and start pounding his sheilds, when suddenly he reverted all power to anti-thrusters, almost stopping his ship in its tracks. The pursuing coralskipper slammed into his ship, and the screen went black. "that was fun."

[Queso]

Alys snapped her fighter into a tight barrel roll, trying to shake the skipp of her tail. pulling up sharply, Alys pulled port. However the skip contiued to pound her shields.

Flame beeped frantically, as the shileds were stripped. ALys snarled something unfriendly bring into question the pilot's birth and mother, as the screen went black.

Getting out of the simulator, Alys saw Trel.

"Hey there."

[DarthSolo]

"hey, so you're dead too?" He walked towards her and smiled. "Fun stuff, huh?"

[Queso]

"Yeah. It doesn't bode well for when I get into my first firefight. I go in and I always wind up losing shields." Alys kicked the simulator then grimaced. "ow."

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked at Leet, Zhadar, Leto and Egrog. She felt like she sort of knew what this feeling was about but her questoin inside her head was " Who was it going to be?" she thought to herself as she looked back down at the ground.


" This is going to be a long mission, the feeling I am getting isn't that good. I feel it to be a warning of some sort. I have a feeling this Dark Jedi will get away the next few rounds and who knows what will happen. Still no word from Col. Solo about the list of Jedi's who are MIA ot thought to be dead?"

[Cassus Fett]

"Jaina, Ive got something i need to tell you" *running over to Jaina* "Its about the Dark Jedi"

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina turned at looked at Dake. " What is it?" she says looking at him.

[Cassus Fett]

"I know who the Dark Jedi is" *sighs* "Hes my brother, he was never killed but was taken and turned to the darkside" *pauses* "i know where he is heading"

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina eyes widened. " Your brother?" she says in a low voice. " Why didn't you say anything earlier?" she said starting to looked worried now.

[Cassus Fett]

"I was scared that i might follow him down the same path, but i have realised i wont now im here"

*looks away*

"He was captured when our ship was attacked and was converted to the Darkside. I fear he could be heading for Yavin 4, insearch of Master Skywalker and his Jedi Academy"

*wipes a tear from his eye*

"If we find him, i need to confront him. I hope you understand but i need you guys to trust me and help me"

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina looked at Leet. " What do you think Major?" she says as she looked back at Dake. " We will worry about that in a little while." she says as she looked at Egrog. " I want you to take Dake to the training room and work on some skills before this all starts." she says. " And facing this on your own isn't an option, Dake, as much as I wouldl like to let you but one of will be with you, if the time comes. I am sorry to hear that about your brother. What was his name?"

[Cassus Fett]

"Bendick, he is my younger brother, i should have been there for him, i should have protected him"

[jadeskywalker]

" That is what I thought about my sister." she says looking down at the ground. " Alot of things happen that we all do not like what happens but we must do what is requested of us and I will make sure to run this by Major Leet and the General and see what I can do. But for now, I want you to go with Egrog and work some on your skills and will get back to you as soon as I can." she says in a low voice wishing she could do more to help him.

[Cassus Fett]

"Thanks" *walks away with Egrog*

Jaina watched them asa they left the room as Leet walked up to her as she was still watching them. " What do you think, Leet? I don't know what to think anymore?

"That would explain why Dake knew and felt something before we did. It may even help us track him; back on Yavin Jacen and Jaina were once telling me how much closer their bonds were in the force." Leet thought for a minute. "But how would he react if he met his brother in battle?"

Jaina smiled. " Well, I figured their bond would be closer. Good, to hear he is back." she says as she looked towards Leet. "I am afraid of how he will react if he did see his brother."

"I don't know Jaina, family makes you act a little different." Leet said, thinking of his own family. "If this is a trap, there will easily be enough fighting to go around. Perhaps we should plan on splitting up when we find him: Leto and Egrog take Dake to fight the foot soldiers, and Zhadar, you and I go after him."

[Leto Aldriss]

"I think it would be a good idea if I stay available for him," Leto said to the the other two officers, "we both had to confront siblings whose paths had darkened."

"However, I think that we should find way to warn Master SKywalker and Kam," Leto continued, "I just hope that his brother hasn't learned about the students move to the Maw."

"Col. Jaina Solo is talking to Master Skywalker as we speak; and I am sure we can count on her to get the seriousness of the situation across.

Yes Leto, I think you would be ideal to help Dake. But I think that having Egrog around would be good as well." Leet said. "And at some point Dake will need someone to apprentice under."

[Leto Aldriss]

"His high spirited attitude will help to keep his humor during the search" Leto replied

"I agree, Leto." Leet wondered how Leto's meeting with Master Skywalker went; he thought Leto would make an excellent master for Dake. But he had no idea how to raise the issue.

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina turned to the both of them. " Egrog would to have for Dake. Send work to Col. Solo as she is there with Master Sywalker and inform her on more what is going on here, also."

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto felt a great sympathy for Dake, he at least never realized he faced his sister until it was too late.

Jaina looked at Leto. " How would you like to take Dake as an apperntice?" she says couriouly.

Leet nodded his agreement.

[Leto Aldriss]

"That might not be a bad idea," Leto replied, "After talking with Master Skywalker, I think that we should be trying to expand our responsibilitiies."

"Master Skywalker reminded me of what he gave up during the campaign on Ithor," Leto reminded, "The gauardianship of Jedi Tradition."

"I think it's time i took on my share of that responsibility," Leto said resolutely.

Leet replied "Good Leto, I think you will make an excellent master. If you need any help, we all will lend a hand." This news made Leet feel much better.

Jania smiled. " Good, that is great to hear. Yes, i agree to you being an excellent master. I will be avabiale to you anytime,too."

[Leto Aldriss]

"Thanks for offering to fly wing you two," Leto said to him.

"I think I'll talk to him in the morning," Leto added, "Think I'll turn in myself soon."

"Good night Colonel, Major," Leto said, stretching, "Better get your rest now, I have a feeling that we're gonna get dirty on htis one."

"Night Leto." Leet replied. Watching him leave, Leet turned to Jaina, "I've always thought he was too hard on himself."

Jaina looked at Leet. " Yes, I agree he has been hard on himself."

They stood quietly for a few minutes, each lost in their own thoughts. Leet broke the tension by saying "Lightsaber practice? If you are coming with me and Zhadar you have to be fast with your blade, and ready to take the odd life threatening blow."

Jaina looked at him and raised her eyebrow at him. " Is that a challenge?" she says smiling.

Leet drew his lightsaber and let the blade extend. "Yes Col. I believe it does."

" Very well, Major." she says smiling as she drew her saber out.

Leet jumped towards Jaina blade swinging in front of him, and then after her block, jumped back and smiled. "Nice Jaina, but . . ." Leet moved forward again his saber moving in a seemingly random pattern.

" But......what?" she says watching him as she lunged towards him as he blocks her move as she smiles.

Leet chuckles and begins a fast series of basic attack moves, probing Jaina's defenses. And then he found what may be a weakness.

Jaina smiled. " Find what your looking for?as she chucled.

"Yes." was Leet's reply. Making a quick feint to her right, Leet suddenly came left and threw Jaina off balance . . .

" Good one." she says as she rolls and got her feet. " Need to work on that." she says as she smiles.

Leet nodded and said "You are over reaching when you block to your right." Leet demonstrated. "Let's try again"

Jaina nods. " I am!" she says laughing. She watched him as he demenstrated.

Leet stepped back to the guard position. "Your turn, attack me!" Leet said.

Jaina looked at him as she attacked towards Leet. She worked on not over reaching and did it. " Well, what do you think?"

"Much better." Leet said, extinguishing his blade. "I need food, shall we eat?"

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina smiles. " Food sounds good." she replies back. " Leet, thanks for pointing that out." she says as she smiles and shakes her head.

"No problem Jaina. Where has Egrog been tonight?" Leet asked.

[jadeskywalker]

" I sent him and Egrog in the training room, while we talked about this."she says as she looked at him.

"Probably a good idea, but he will miss the eating." Leet said.

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina laughs. " He will know when it is time to eat. Lets see how long it takes him, if he hasn't already beaten us there."

Walking into the mess hall Leet responds "Odd, he's not here. Where is George?"

Jaina laughs. " Come on Major, lets eat while we still can." as she atarted walking to get her a tray.

Grabbing a tray, Leet grabbed some food. He wondered how long it would be before they had another quiet meal. Sitting by Zhadar, everything seemed right with the world.

Jaina sat by Leet and Zhadar. She smiles at them happy they are here right now. As they sat there and ate, not saying a word. " I have been with these two and leto for many of my missions and how the four became good friends and wingmates." she thought as they all smiled at each other as they ate.

When Leet woke up the next morning, he was feeling good after a night spent with friends. Then the reality of paperwork hit him, sighing he sat down and began going through it.

*egrog wakes up the next morning, feeling a little sore after training with dake* i need to work out a little more, ugh....

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto awoke from a rested sleep, he opened his personal data pad and recalle dhis records of the time he spent on Yavin IV. He didn't want to seem like he had an agenda for Dake, he may become suspicious. But still it seemed a good idea to have some sort of plan.

Leto had never before thought of taking on a Padawan before, he hardly new how to aproach the subject.

*egrog heads out of his room and over to the mess hall* food...needed....

*Dake enters the mess and sits down thinking about his brother about how he should have done something, how he needs to see if there is good still in him, to try and turn him back if he can be turned back*

*egrog grabs some food and sits down next to dake* what's going on?

"Im just thinking bout my brother" *pushes his food aside* "I need to confront him on my own, i want to know if he can be saved and if he cant i want to be the one to kill him, so know one else but me is responsible" *sighs* "i need you to help me convice the other to let me, please Egrog"

Heading to the mess hall, Leet enters and grabs some chow. Seeing Dake and Egrog in intense conversation, Leet begins to head away from them . . .

Egrog, if you let me do this it will be my fault no matter what happens, i know the risks and im willing to take them to try and save my brother if it is possible *stands up*

Soontir had been up early again supervising the designing of the Blood Squadron Fighters. All of them, except the Bomber which was being modified extensively, were now completely black and were having pirate symbols placed on them.

"This squadron will look incredible out there."

With that Soontir decided it was time for some breakfast. He went to the Mess Hall, saw Dake and Egrog talking and saw Major Leet sitting off by himself eating. He got some food and went over to sit by Major Leet.

"Good morning sir, I hope you don't mind me eating with you. I've been up for awhile now supervising the designing of Blood Squadron. Any new information about the Dark Jedi come out yet? Or our mission?"

Jaina woke up and got dressed and headed for the mess hall.

Leto watched from across the Mess hall as Ergog and Dake discussed lightsaber forms. He wasn't sure if he liked the idea of an initiate of the force seeeking to learn Form VII,

He himself had only the most rudimentary training in form VII, mostly defensive exercises, that he learned from Obi-Wan's old manuel.

Leto approached Ergog after Dake had retired from the mess hall.

"So, what is your impression of Dake's ability?" Leto asked, "Colonel Jade and Major Leet suggested that I take him as my first Padawan."

Leet got up from his table, watching Egrog and Leto discuss Dake. Without meaning to, Leet had overheard enough of Dake's conversation to know the problems he would face. Nodding at Leto, Leet walked up. "Evening." He began.

Col. Jade made it to the mess hall. She got her tray and approached Leto, Egrog aand Dake. " Hello the Major....Lt. Commander......and Lt." she says with a smile.

Leet sat down, "Evening Col., will the ship be ready for departure this evening?"

Jaina turned to Leet. " You know it will be. When has anything ever been delayed?" she replies back grinning.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir walked over to Major Leet and Colonel Jade.

"Major, Colonel. Blood Squadron is ready to go. Anything new on the Dark Jedi or the mission? And when will the mission to Ithor begin?"

Jaina looked at Soontir. " That is good to hear everything is ready. Good Job, Captain on doing a great job of keeping us informed on the ships. Not for to much longer. After we all eat and leave here, we will be leaving." she answers back the best she could with a little smile.

*egrog nods towards leto, letting him know they'll talk later* hello everbody, how are we all doing today?

Jaina smiles at Egrog. " Not bad at all, Lt. Commander."

that's good to hear....what're we up to today?

" Eat and then get ready to leave, that's what." she answers back breaking a smile.

" Everything is ready to go and is a go."

eat! i love eating! *continues eating* so we're heading out, huh?

" I do believe we are headed out."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir climbs into his Tie Defender and begins the pre-flight. He see's the other members of Blood Squadron getting ready as well.

"Remember Bloods we are to hang around while the ground team does what they need to do. Hopefully we won't be involved in a battle, but if there are Vong there or Vong arrive you know your duty. Stay with your flights, be smart,...........and May the Force be With You."

Blood 2: Alys, Tie Interceptor
Blood 3: Trel, Tie Interceptor

Blood 4: Tlo, Tie Defender
Blood 5: Hunter, Tie Fighter
Blood 6, Rece, Tie Fighter

Blood 7-10 are Chiss Pilots flying one defender and 3 fighters. All fighters have shields, the Defenders have hyperdrives and ion cannons as well. With 10 pilots there are 3 flights, 2 of which are actually trio's.

Just to make sure everyone knows because this information is a few pages back.

"And Major, Colonel Fel and I have decided that he will provide ground support for the ground team in a Tie Interceptor he has brought with him. He can provide reconnaissance for you and be right there in case anything on that ground requires immediate firepower. Blood Squadron will remain in space close to the frigate keeping an eye on everything."

Soontir paused for a moment.

"And does that Frigate have a name yet Major?"

Alys wandered around the ship, winding up in the mess.

*gets up and heads out of the mess* "If you aint going to help me learn form 7, ill find some one who will or teach myself" *walks out* "Hey Alys hunni"

"hey Dake." alys said. "What's wrong?" she said looking at him curoiusly.

"its Ergog, he wont teach me form 7 he just laughed in my face so im going to learn myself" *smiles at Alys* "How are you anyway?"

*Shakes head, her face turning serious."Don't. It's a dangerous one to learn when you first begin." she said firmly< placing a hand on his shoulder. "Please. Once you learn the other 6 well, and are able to keep your emotions from controlling you, then learn it."

*egrog nods to jaina* i like "darkness falls" has a nice ring to it

Jaina smiles at Egrog. " Lets get this mission started." she says as they all left and went to the docking bay.

"10 minutes Captain Solo." says the control officer

"You heard him Bloods, when we revert we exit Darkness and create a perimeter. Keep an eye on your scanners. We don't want to be surprised out there."

Soontir sat in his cockpit, ready for whatever may happen. And wondering why it seemed that there was information being kept from him, new information about the Dark Jedi. It was just a feeling he had.

"I know Alys, i will" *senses something* "Got to go" *runs back into the mess* "Hey Jaina, he aint very far from our position or has been here already, i can sense him" *looks at Egrog* "which form do you think i can study first before studing 7?"

Jaina looked at Dake. " Master, Major Leto Aldriss is taking you as his padawan learner. I think you should discuss it with him about that. You get to Major Aldriss and I will inform the others to keep their eyes open." she says as she gets to the comm.


" Captain Solo, this is Lt. Col. Jade. Our Lt. Dake says he feels him close around where we are. Keep your eyes open. We are almost ready to take off." Jaina comms in.

"Roger that Colonle, the frigate arrives at Ithor in 6 minutes. Blood Squadron will set up a perimeter to make sure our team gets to ground. Why is it Chan can sense this Dark Jedi but none of the other Jedi can? Is there something I don't know about Chan and the Dark Jedi?"

OOC: FF your under my command our mission is to protect the frigate Darkness Falls and keep an eye out while the ground mission, with all the Jedi, goes down to the surface of Ithor and do what they do.

Alys sat in her fighter, not all that comfortable with the fact she was in a TIE. even if it was the Defender. She sat back waiting for reversion.

" Copy that Captain." Jaina says as she comms back to Soontir. Jaina looked at the others. " Alright, lets get ready. We will be arriving in 6 minutes." Jaina looked at Dake. " Stay close with Major Aldriss. Leet, Leto and I agree you not ready to confront your brother. I feel it isn't time but you will get you chance to face him. I don't like saying this myself and right now and with him being your brother Dake." she says softly as she looked at him and at the others.

"I understand, but i know he will also want to face me" *looks at the other* "i know none of you trust me, but i will prove to you that i can be trusted"

Jaina shakes her head at him with a little grin. " Trust isn't the issue here, Dake." she answers back. " You didn't give me a reason not to trust you. Yes, you have a connection to him but we feel if you face him now....you will not be ready. You have just started your training. You are not ready for this, yet." she says sadly.

"I know i have come to agree with that i just know a few people on board this ship dont trust me that much after the attack near Hades"

Jade looked at him. " Then trust us on this as we will trust you when you say he is near. Don't jump into something that we are trying to get you avoid for now. Just for now, Dake. Wait til you get to 7 and not skip and then jump to 7 without training." Jaina said as she she tried make him understand that this discussion wasn't decided as easily as it seemed like.

"ok, im willing to work my way up to form 7 once i have studied the other forms"

Jaina smiles at Dake. " Good, what I wanted to hear." she says. " Work up to 7. That is all I wanted to you do. At least get some training and learn control. Come on Lt. lets get ready."

"Yeah lets get going" *Dake smiles back*

Jaina looked at the others. " Are you guys ready, yet?" she says.

*egrog jumps up* let's go! *points out the door*

Jaina shakes her head at Egrog. " Always ready for anything!" she says grinning.

As they all made it to the landing bay. " When we get to the ground. We will be spilt up. Majors Leet and Zhadar and I will be together as Lt. Dake, Lt. Commander Kaputski and Major Aldriss will be together. May the force be with us on this mission and the others." Jaina says as they all boarded the ship.

"ok" *Dake puts his hand on his curved lightsaber hilt, and smiles*

Jaina smiles at Dake. " You'll do fine." she said to him.

"Reversion in 5 minutes." came across the comm. Alys clicked hers in acknowledgement.

*comm* "Alys hunni, i see you wen we get back, good luck"

*egrog breathes in and sighs as he opens a private channel to jaina* good luck out there, watch your back, don't do anything more insane than what i'd do, and just be careful....

*comms to all* Good luck, ill get everybody a drink when we get back *laughs*

*Dake takes a seat and checks his blaster before putting in back on his belt the other side to his lighsaber*

Jaina smiles as she hears Egrog message. " You know I will...you do the same." she comms back to him as she took a deep breath.

" Col. Fel." Jaina says. " Ready on your mark, sir." Jade says as Major Leet and her stood by Col. Fel.

*egrog looks back, a sick feeling rising in his stomach, but he pushes it down, concentrating on the mission at hand* k-2 here, four lit and in the green. i just hope this bucket of bolts holds together

Jaina smiles as she shakes her head. " She'll hold....she has too!"

"Twin 7, ready to go" *Dake looks worried* "Is this gonna fall apart?" *laughs*

[Soontir Solo]

And then the frigate reverted to hyperspace.

"Blood Squadron launch and form a perimeter around Darkness."

Soontir and the other members of Blood Squadron exited Darkness Falls and created a perimeter around the ship to maximize sensor data. There Pirate looking designed Ties were admired by the bridge crew.

"Everything is clear for now. Colonel Jade if your team is going down now is the time."

[Soontir Solo]
