Alys double clicked the come and flew over taking postion off his starboard side.

"Ready when you are 11."

"11 cancel that im heading down to the planet" *Dake replied as opened up his throttle pulling away from Solo and Alys and heading towards the planet* "This is Twin Suns 7, do i have permission to land"

As Jaina looked to where Leet was pointing. " Yeah, I say the Wild Knights." she says as she looked at him with her brow risen. " We do tend to get stuck with the crazy missions." she says with a smile.

Trel woke up groggy, and wondered how long he had been sleeping. he hadnt seen anyone in days. he stumbled out of his room to find Egrog about to knock on his door. "Well, hey there."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir and Twin 12 made a pass over the frigate

"Not much to look at." Soontir commented to Twin 12

"Looks like there is still work to be done to the engines, and I am only picking up a few turbolaser batteries active."

With that Soontir decided to go ahead go to ground.

"I am going to go ahead and land Twin 12, feel free to as well."

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto tossed his bags on the bed and found Squeak a place to plug in and recharge. Yet another set of quarters in this long list of temporary homes. He went to the dedicated comm system and keyed his personal ID number. He waited as the console routed his holonet access to the new location.

It had been several weeks since he had contacted his mother in the hospital on Sullust. He felt bad about this, things just kept weighing on his mind.

RN-47 answered the comm, "Master Leto, I was hoping that you would comm soon, your mother asked me to thank you for sending K'Estra by with the gift basket."

Leto smiled, knowing full well that he had not sent the gift in question, "Tell her it was K'Es' idea"

"Of course sir, is something wrong ?", RN-47 asked.

"No, I just wanted to send you the new adress for contacting me throug the Holonet." Leto said,then he added, "Is she able to take this call?"

RN-47 looked over it's shoulder, then replied, "I'm afraid not, she is resting just now, I'm very sorry."

"It's alright, I'll comm again soon," Leto returned, "Take care of both of you."

"Of course sir,"

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir passed overheard of one of the great Mon Cal cities, impressed like always.

"Sometimes I wish Csilla had beaches and such great cities." said Soontir too himself.

OOC: What's a R-Wing?

Lowbacca headed toward the Twin Suns command when he heard Jaina Solo yell his name. *Lowie Jacen's back!*

*What! I thought he was dead.*

*We were wrong. I am so happy."

*So am I Jaina that's great. Maybe we can all get together.*

Lowie heads back towards Twin Suns command. When he got there there was a message on his comm.

OOC: I think it must be a starfighter from a comic or game or something. It isn't one I have ever heard of in any EU Book though.

Soontir got the message that Ackbar was Back and turned to the general fleet frequency where he heard laughter and what sounded like a party. It seemed the fleet was very happy Ackbar was back.

"Twin 11 to the rest of the Twins, just so you know I just got a message from fleet, one sent out to all the ships. The message says "Ackbar is Back." Twin 11 out and about to land."

Soontir piloted his Clawcraft to the landing pad with the nimble skill only a Chiss can have.

OCC I've seen it before this thread, but I didn't know if it was EU, or game or like SS said, comic.

Knowing that survival is first order in any new situation, Leto immediately searches out the mess hall for a caff.

Jaina looked at Leet, " Ackbar is back. That is great to hear." she said smiling.

Leet and Jaina land the shuttle, and join the Republic forces in their revelry at Ackbar's return. After a little break, Leet says "I am glad Admiral Ackbar is back, but what do you say we go take a look at our new ship?"

Jaina turned to Leet. " Yeah, lets go see our new ship. I am courious to see it myself." she says as they turned to go see the ship.

[Leto Aldriss]

Leto mingled casually with the crowd, happy about Ackbar's return, however still disturbed by the apppearance of a Dark Jedi among the Vong. He sat on his own contemplating this new twist.

*egrog and trel walk up behind jaina and leet* ackbar's back!? awesome!

" Nice of you to drop by,finally." Jaina says. " We were going to go check out the ship. We will be back." she says smiling.

"We are on our way to visit our new ship, care to join us?" Leet asked Trel and Egrog.

sure, nothing more exciting then looking at a refurbished ship! *egrog says, with a sly grin*

Leet rolled his eyes, "Anyone seen Soontir or Leto since we landed? Be nice to get everyone up there at once."

Jaina smiles. " I wonder what she is going to look like."

*egrog shakes his head* he was on his way down after us, as far as i know

A Dark Jedi, thought Leto. He'd never stood against one before. He had heard rumors about the shadow academy, maybe this is one of their protoges.

Leto looked out the window at the starscape beyond. He thought of his sister, and of how close the dark can sometimes be.

Leto wondered when the others were going to arrive on board.

Squeak rolled up to him and chirpped.

"A message from K'Es? put it through," He said casually.

Turning to Jaina, Leet said "Should we go look for them, or just go your highness?"

" i think we ought to go back and get them." she says. " It would be good to have everyone around."

OCC: I'm already there, I went straight to the ship.

"Sounds good." Leet picks up his com and says "Twins and Knights, meet back at the landing pad in 15." Leet turned "Anyone who isn't her can stay put."

They all headed to the landing pad to see the ship. " Everyone is quiet is seems like?"

Hearing the comm, Leto makes his way to landing pad 15

"I think we are all on edge. This mission will not be fun, and I bet NRI has some over the top scheme to keep our profile low." Leet responded.

" I just hope it works this time." she says.

*egrog laughs* over the top, hehehehehe

"I do too, maybe we can be pirates. Captain Leet and his evil band of cutthroats sound good?"

*egrog laughs more* pirates, that's great! YARRRR!

" Pirates, intresting." she says as they continued walking. " Have you thought of a name yet?"

"No, only that one, do you have one Jaina?" Leet said.

" I don't know yet, we may have to see what we can come with when we see her." she says grinning.

*egrog smiles* your highness and her band of scabrous pirates!

Jaina shakes her head. " Something not obvious." she said smiling. " Good idea though."

*egrog puts his arm around jaina's shoulders* anytime, your worshipfulness, anytime...

They all walked into the landing pad. As she smiled at Egrog.

Walking up to the shuttle Leet said "Plenty of time for that, here comes Leto."

Jaina headed straight to the **** pit with Leet behind her. " What do you think?" as she sat a chair in the cockpit.

"Think? Oh, well I think we will enjoy being out on our own, but this mission, something isn't sitting right. Maybe its the force, maybe my own fears . . ." Leet said.

Jaina looked at him. " Well there has been alot of crazy things that has happened. What else could happen. We always found away around them." she said trying not to think of the worse. " But, I know what you mean about the mission not sitting right." she smiled a Leet.

Trel was still pretty groggy from his "nap" which was more like a prolonged unconsciousness, due to something he wasn't fully aware of. "Hey, do you guys really think pirates say stuff like 'yar' and 'ahoy matey' or is that just what the holo-films tell us?" He looked around dumbly. "What?"

Leet and Egrog burst out laughing. When the laughter died down, Leet said "Its been 15, time to go." With that the shuttle began ascending upwards towards their new ship.

The Nebulon-B Frigate that was becoming larger in their view; was a standard issue Kuat creation. Originally designed to escort Imp convoys, they were made to hold two squadrons of snubfighters.

Leet said "A little beat up, but it looks like the repairs are in order."

Alys landed the XWing on the landing pad. Getting out Alys began to hunt for the rest of the squadron.

Landing in the frigate's landing bay, Leet was struck with the fact that none of the detail work was done. Interior walls, decks, ceilings were not yet painted. "Well Col. looks like you can pick the colors here . . ."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir had heard the order to go to the Escort Frigate but decided to stay on the planet, having already seen the ship and knowning what a hunk of junk it was.

"There is something about this mission. They assign us a mission to hunt down a Dark Jedi with the Vong and give us one beat up Escort Frigate to do it. That piece of junk won't last 5 minutes against whatever the Vong throw at us. Something isn't right about this mission at all." Soontir said to himself on a balcony of Starfighter Headquarters, looking down on the party that was going on due to Ackbar's return.

"Party's................pathetic. If these people would concentrate more on fighting and making themselves better than the Vong instead of partying this war would have been over by now. If only General Fel could convince the Ruling 4 Families to allow him to go in and take out the Vong himself, we would show these amateurs how to really fight." Soontir said disdainfully.

[Queso]

Alys had wandered around the base. Hearing there was a celebration at Ackabr's return, Alys decided to go.

OOC: i figured it'd be easier if i just posted here to let you all know i'm hopefully not going to be on as often, two major porjects, tests and all the good stuff, when i get on, i'll get here first

After watching the pathetic display of pleasure for long enough Soontir decided to see if he could get a meeting with General Antilles, who was here for a shortwhile before having to leave for Kuat.

"Lieutenant is General Antilles in?"

"Yes sir, he is in a meeting right now with Admiral Sovv but I am sure he wouldn't mind meeting with you afterward if you have the time to wait." said the lieutenant

"Yes, I do have the time."

Soontir sits down and waits for the meeting, hoping he could get a better idea of what was going on in the galaxy right now.

*Dake finally landed his R-Wing in the hangar after flying around apart of the planet, getting a look for the first time at Mon Cal*

He landed next to Alys X-Wing "Looks like shes here already, R7"

"Whistle beep whistle" says R7 as he notices CT coming towards the R-Wing

"Hey CT, where has everyone gone" *asks Dake as he climbs out of the cockpit

"They are around, Master" CT replies

Admiral Sovv walked out and Soontir stood up and came to attention, saluting.

"At ease Captain, I heard you only recently came back from Chiss Space. Any news on whether the Chiss will come in to the war on our side?" Admiral Sovv asked him

"With all due respect sir I am only here as a military representative for the Chiss here to gather intelligence. I am not the one who could answer you, even if I did know the answer. All I can tell you right now is that the Chiss are watching the situation closely, through the eyes of good intelligence sources like myself and Colonel Fel. Sir."

"Very well Captain, I do hope you are trying to get the Chiss to come in on our behalf, and I know you can't respond to that. Good day." And then Admiral Sovv walked out

"General Antilles will see you now Captain" said the Lieutenant.

"Very well Lieutenant." And with that Soontir walked into the office of General Wedge Antilles, having just come off his legendary campaign at Borleias.

" Why don't we not paint it? The uglier it is, the better, I would say. If we are going to be Pirates." she says to Leet, Egrog and Trel.

*egrog nods* i agree, it would fit the persona well...we could add burn marks in different places, make it look like it's been through a lot, maybe even a lot of "burns" around the engines, like they're prone to frying or something, trick our enemies....

[Soontir Solo]

"Captain Solo what can I do for you." Antilles said after Soontir saluted.

"Sir I know you are aware of the mission Twin Suns has been assigned, dealing with this Dark Jedi and I was just hoping you could help me understand exactly what is expected of us and what to expect."

"Yes I was one of the planners of this mission, along with Admiral Sovv and General Cracken. What are your concerns." Antilles said.

"Sir if we are to do this mission why give us only a Escort Frigate to do it? And one that is at least 30 years old? No matter where this Dark Jedi is that Escort Frigate won't be able to do a thing against anything the Vong throws at us. And why is this a military assignment in the first place? Why isn't Master Skywalker handling this situation. This seems like a Jedi matter more than something the military should be concerned with sir."

"Look, right now things are tight. Every available capital ship is needed to replenish our fleets under myself and Kre'fey. General Bel Iblis is still controlling over 1/3 of the entire Alliance Fleet at Fondor, and he isn't answering to Admiral Sovv anymore. That Escort Frigate is literally all that can be spared. Now if a situation comes when you do know exactly, and remember I said exactly, where the Dark Jedi is and need more firepower I am sure something can be done, but the Escort Frigate should do fine as for now with the mission only gathering what information you can. And the Jedi Order is in disarray after the Fall of Coruscant. Half of the entire Jedi Order are feared dead or missing. The military can't rely totally on the Jedi, and with Twin Suns having Jedi in the squadron this seemed like a fair compromise." said General Antilles

Soontir looked at General Antilles.

"Sir this is not a mission I am not very happy to have, and I doubt the rest of Twin Suns are happy either. I would rather be assigned to a fleet that is taking the offensive against the Vong, not lurking in the shadows looking for a Dark Jedi that may not even exist in my opinion."

"I know how you feel Captain, with my time with Rogue Squadron I had many such times when I felt like that. But Twin Suns is needed to do this right now." said General Antilles.

"Very well sir, forgive me for intruding on your time I just had to have some answers."

"No problem Captain, May the Force be with you." and General Antilles saluted

"And with you sir" Soontir saluted then left the office, heading for his quarters on Mon Calamari.

"Plus we need to add a few surprises, I was thinking we should add some torpedo launchers in the empty crew quarters; we need the added firepower." Leet said. "As well as some other surprises."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir went into his quarters and started meditating, trying to calm down and get ready for this mission.

" What ever we can add, I wonder how her shield power is?"

"As good as new, they gave her new shield arrays, and upgraded engines." Leet replied.

[jadeskywalker]

" That's a relief." she says as she got up and Leet behind her. " I don't know, what do you think? It should work." she says not sure what to think. " If we are going to be pirates, i say our ship fits the part." looking around.

"I think so, and who lacks the intelligence to go chasing after the Vong and a Dark Jedi in this? At least they are upgrading everything as they replace it. Does anyone have capital ship experience?" Leet said. "Does Soontir?"

" We may have to find out when we all meet up again."

"Good idea, then we can figure out what else we can add to this baby." Leet said "Ok, lets go gather the rest and see what we can figure out. We may have an intel agent along for the ride as well."

" Yeah, lets go get the rest and then we can have an idea of what else we need to do."

Loading quietly back into the shuttle Leet and Jaina took part of the squadron back to Mon Cal, Leet said "It could have been worse - a dreadnaught."

[Soontir Solo]

OOC: A Dreadnaught would actually be better. They are much more heavily armed, can carry more squadrons, and are much bigger.

Soontir came out of his meditation and wondered why a squadron meeting hadn't been contacted yet.

"Surely they should be ready for a meeting now." Soontir says after walking out of his room.

OOC: Yes with worse manueverability and even more outdated equipment.

Upon landing, Leet and Jaina called a squadron meeting. When everyone was assembled Leet began:

"As you know, we have been tasked with trying to locate this Dark Jedi. I wish I could give you a lot of good news. The only good news is that Col. Fel and his Chiss pilots will be working with us. Col.'s Solo and Fel will be attached to our squadron, but may be on detached duty for part of our mission.

We have been given a refitted Nebulon-B Escort Frigate to work from. One that is owned by the NRI, and has a skeleton crew. We will also be assigned an NRI agent to work with us.

Since our ship is not on anyone's list, we will be masquerading as pirates. Two questions: Does anyone have capital ship experience? As in command or operations; not riding in one Egrog. And does anyone have any suggestions for surprises we can use on the Vong?"

Jaina looked at Leet and leaned closer to him while they waited for an answer. " I just they know what the are doing."

[Soontir Solo]

"Major I have been a 1st Officer on a capital ship before the war. Once the war started I decided to rejoin a fighter squadron."

[Soontir Solo]

OOC: Dreadnaughts have better shields too, and the equipment isn't much more outdated than a Escort Frigate.

"That's good to hear Captain. Do you have any suggestions as to what we can do to prepare for the worst? Any surprises or equipment we could add?" Leet said.

[Soontir Solo]

"Sir I did a flyby of the frigate and the main thing is to make sure the engines, hyperdrive, and shields are the best they can possibly be. That isn't a ship we will be able to use in combat really, at least against Vong capital ships. It would be more effective to be used mainly as a Carrier. It could handle small Vong ships like corvette sized ships but anything larger than that we would be better off keeping it out of combat. I didn't see any torpedo launchers either, that could be a good benefit but isn't necessarily a necessity, the engines, hyperdrive, and shields definitely are though. In my opinion of course sir."

"The ship was only a hull when it returned from Coruscant, that's how NRI ended up with it. They have put state of the art engines, hyperdrive, shields and automation. We have the normal complement of ion and turbolaser cannons. The communications have been upgraded to NRI standards, along with eavesdropping equipment off of spyships." Leet began. Continuing he said "We were considering scrapping some empty bunks and adding torpedos."

" That still sounds good, to do." Jaina says.

[Kapit]

*egrog nods his head in agreement" i agree, i think we're getting very lucky here with this ship, and we should be glad command gave us one in the first place...

[Soontir Solo]

"I would also consider gutting out part of the ship and increasing the size of the hangar so we might be able to add enough another squadron. But even with state of the art shielding and a full complement of turbolasers and ion cannons we still need to be weary about its use in combat. My official opinion is it doesn't go into combat if a Vong ship larger than a corvette analog is involved unless absolutely necessary. We can't afford to lose the ship, not with supplies and ships being so hard to comeby these days. Who is the Captain of the ship? Are they dependable?"

"I agree Soontir, it's not a ship of the line; hopefully it will be mostly drop and scoot with the frigate. As far as another squadron goes, if you have a Chiss squadron we could borrow, we'll use it. Otherwise, Starfighter command has said we're it. And we amount to a squadron and a half as it is.

We have no official word on the captain, NRI and Fleet are bickering over it." Leet responded.

Jaina looked at Cap. Solo curious to what he was going to say.

"A Chiss Squadron to borrow? No, that most definitely isn't an option sir."

*egrog leans over to soontir and says quietly* i think it was a joke, soontir

Soontir looks over to Egrog

"If it was I didn't catch it sir. It didn't sound like a joke to me."

"What about false blisters with thermal detonators inside? Or mines? I have heard both can be effective against Vong ships." Leet said, out of his element.

" I heard the same thing also." Jade says to Leet. " Haven't tried it but I heard that worked."

[Soontir Solo]

"I am sure we can experiment if you want. I don't know how effective mines would be unless a Vong ship came out of hyperspace inside of a mine field, meaning it would be surprised. Otherwise the Vong would be able to identify mines if we placed them somewhere. One thing that I think everyone needs to consider is if we are going to be acting as pirate maybe some changes need to be done to our fighters, as in getting new fighters that a pirate would have or making some drastic changes to our current fighters, making them look rugged and such, though I am not sure if that would be enough to convince the Vong. Changing fighters to ships like headhunters, preybirds, or uglies may be the only concrete way to make sure a cover as pirates wouldn't be blown."

also, we could paint the cruiser in such a way to make it look like it's damaged, or even just old and dilapidated, to throw them off

"One step ahead of the discussion, Captain. We have been offered two mixed squadrons of captured ships. They are mixed bag one squadron is of older snubfighters: 4 headhunters, 2 cloaks, 3 preybirds, 3 Y-Wings. The others are tie's 6 Ties, 1 bomber, 2 interceptors and 3 defenders." Leet responded.

[Soontir Solo]

"Ties? Do they have shields? I know Tie Defenders do but do the others? If not we definitely need to have them retrofitted with shields. And I have some experience with Interceptors and Defenders, just so you know. The Defender especially is very similar to a Clawcraft."

[jadeskywalker]

Jaina nods her head at Soontir. " Glad to hear that Captain."

"Except the Defenders, I don't believe they do. Most were captured from pirates not the Imperials. We also will need to check out the cloak shapes, preybirds and headhunters to see what aftermarket mods they have and what we can do to improve them. The Y's are from Starfighter command, so they should be in good shape." Leet responded to Soontir. Turning to Egrog he said "I agree we should look beat up, that's why the ship looks like it does."

*egrog nods* i was thinking maybe some painting around the engines to give them the impression of being prone to overloading and frying

Jaina looked at Leet. " Who all are going in the shuttle and who all will be in the snubs?" she asks couriously.

Turning to Jaina, Leet said "Well we will have to ferry our current ships up, and place them in deep storage; then come back for our new snubfighters, shuttles, etc." Looking at Egrog he said "Good ideas."

"If there are no more questions, the Col. and I have meeting with NRI soon. Leto you are in charge of checking over our new non-tie snubs; Soontir you are in charge of looking over our new Tie's; Egrog you are in charge of getting our Frigate painted. Let's get a shopping list together and then we will buy, beg and borrow what we need. Split up our personnel to help. Soontir, our new Chiss pilots are aboard ship; so integrate them into your plans.

Zhadar will take Tlo and Hunter and begin ferrying our ships up. May the Force be With you." Leet responded.

*egrog laughs* oh great, painting, perfect!

*he walks over to trel and places his hand on trel's shoulder* so, you like painting, right?.....

"Only if it involves your face when you are asleep."

*laughs turning to trel and egrog* "We we called always paint a picture of both your faces on the ship, im sure no-one will come near us then" *laughs* "What you want me to do sir? Im an excellent ship mechanic and R&D specialist"

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir went ahead and headed over to where the Tie's were being held so to get them shipped up to the Frigate. He decided he would go ahead and pick out a Defender for himself and take a spin in it.

Alys walked in and stepped aside as Soontir walked out.

"So all, what did I miss?"

Jaina smiled at Alys. " Talk to one of the guys about it , they should be able to fill you in. It is good to see you Lt. Leet and I have a meeting with the NRI soon. Ready Major?" she asks.

[Queso]

Alys nodded. "Aye, ma'am."

She looks around. "So who volunteers?"

*turning to alys* well, you look like you enjoy painting, you can come along with trel and i to supervise the painting of our new home

Alys' eyebrows raised.

"painting? PAinting what?

painting our new nebulon-b frigate that we're calling home now. we'll be posing as pirate, yar. *egrog chuckles a little*

so, we need to make sure we get it painted to look like it's old and damaged, to make sure the vong aren't able to tell it's nice and new

"you mean that thing I flew past on landing here? It's already old."

As Jaina and Leet made it to the door of their meeting with the NRI. Jaina stopped at the door and took a deep breath. " I am not so sure about this." she says quickly.

*egrog smiles* alys, it's been refitted, don't listen to soontir, he's just paranoid.....trust me, it'll be fine. i don't think command would give us a crappy ship for its best squad, would it?

"Well..." Alys drawled out. "THey might. Speaking of Soontir, what's with him? He doesn't seem pleased to have a rookie for a wingmate."

Soontir couldn't help but enjoy taking a flight in the Tie Defender. It wasn't quite as good as a Clawcraft with speed and manuerverbility but it was more heavily armed. He decided to escort the shuttling of the Tie's into the Frigate in the Defender and he had already thought up a good design scheme for the outside of his Defender.

Soontir docked inside the Nebulon B Frigate and watched as all the Tie's were brought up and put inside the hangar. He walked over to one of the hangar maintenance men.

"Soldier, I need a new design scheme for this Tie Defender. I want it to be made compleletey black, everything. Then I want depictions of skulls and any other deadly pictures you can think up on the flanks of my Defender. I want this thing to look like it would be the fighter image of Darth Vader. Can you do it Sergeant?"

"Yes sir, I'll get to it right away." said the maintenance sergeant.

"Very well then, I need it done as quick as possible. The other Tie Fighters and Interceptors need to be retrofitted with shields, how soon can that be done?"

"We have a crew coming up with the necessary parts now, give us 24 hours and all of these Ties will be shielded sir." said the sergeant.

"Excellent, do your duty soldier. If you need me I will be doing a survey of the bridge and and this frigate as a whole."

With that Soontir walked off to make sure this ship was on its way to being flight worthy.

"If only they could have given us a Star Destroyer........that gives me an idea. I'll have to talk to Major Leet soon about some possible options we may not have discussed."

*egrog snorts* there's a lot that soontir doesn't like, especially fun. something to do with being a chiss, i guess they weren't allowed to have fun like we do. don't bother trying to joke with him, or mention "party" around him, just trust me on that one....

"YEs, sir." Alys said. "So l;et's go paint."

Jaina looked Leet and opened the door. They entered taking their seats and the meeting started.

"Hey alys," Trel said catchin up with her, "need help painting?"

[Queso]

"HEy, Trel. Yeah. don't tell Egrog this but i've never painted before."

"HA!" Trel had a good laugh as he caught up to the lady pilot. "Man, when i was first at the Academy that was all they had me do!"

[Queso]

Alys grinned. "Well the pilot program is a bit more sped up nowadays. Pretty much if you know how to fly and don't blow yourself up, you get to be a pilot."

[DarthSolo]

"Yeah, i know what you mean! They were really throwin' me through those courses like a got piece of metal when the war started. And here I am now..."

[DarthSolo]

They got to the new ship and Trel picked up a paint brush filled with paint. "Alright Alys," he said, "time for a lesson in painting. You don't want to do this," he poked the paint brush against her nose, "oops. And you should probably avoid anything like this," he painted her sleeve. "Alright, i think you're ready to go."

[Queso]

Alys grinnned. "You mean this?" She painted his shirt.

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir had inexpected the bridge, hyperdrive, and was now making his way to the hangar to see what had been going on with his Tie Defender. He walked in and actually grinned.

"Looks good so far Sgt."

The Tie Defender was completely black now and the Sgt. was starting on the death designs

*egrog walks over to trel and alys, and in classic three stooges fashion, paints both of their faces (along the lines of the triple slap in the face* back to work, you two, you're wasting valuable resources *he says, with a slight grin*

*Dake walks in towards ergog after getting himself out of painting* "Aint you guys finished yet?" *laughs*

[Queso]

*Alys spins around and smacks Dake with paint* SLACKER! *she grins*

*egrog turns to face both of them and sticks his paintbrush in their faces. as he shakes his hand, paint is splattered on their faces* listen, no more slacking, we need to get this painted to look like it's got damage, so back to work, lovebirds, before i'm forced to paint the both of you onto the ship

"WELL that would most definately scare the vong away!" Alys says wiping paint off her face

*egrog laughs* if that's what you wanna do......

*Dake picks up the small tin of paint and pours a bit of Alys* Opps, i dont know how that happened *He picks up a paint brush and moves away from Alys, laughing* Alys can i talk to you in private after we have finished? *smiles as he wipes the paint away from his eyes* Egrog, got my lightsaber built know *smiles and starts to paint*

Alys glanced at Dake. "Sure. Now let's stop putting paint on me and get it on the ship."

*egrog stops for a minute* really! that was quick! what's the color?

*egrog twirls dakes lightsaber around in his hand* not bad at all, pretty cool, pretty cool.....*he activates it* interesting, it must be fun to fight with it

No problem it will come off! Yeah its interesting to fight with, i think its easier than the standard stlye lightsabers to fight with *carries on painting*

*looks at his brush* this is taking too long....dake, in a test to see your abilities with the Force, you are going to "throw" paint on the ship. you will have to make it look like it's battle damage and it will have too look PERFECT or else you're scrubbing it off and trying it again

OOC: Are you guys painting the frigate's hull? If so you know you would be in Vac suits and you wouldn't be painting it with paint brushs and wouldn't be able to paint eachother, the paint would freeze at soon as it was exposed to atmosphere and there is still the fact you would be wearing vac suits. And if you aren't painting the frigates hull you should know that that is the ship you should be painting. And even if the Frigate was on the planet you wouldn't be able to paint the whole thing with paint by yourselves, its hundreds of meters long. I am pretty sure they had special machines that do it for you.

OOC: I think the commanders established it was on the ground. When we arrived in system myself and I think Leet automatically noticed it immediately, which means it must be in space.

OOC: well, so a bunch of posts aren't wasted, it magically was transported to the ground, so, it's on the ground now, just pretend it has been

OOC: But my posts have already assumed it was in space, all of mine. And not just mine but the commanders as well when they toured it, taking a shuttle up to it. I had the Tie's transported from ground to space to get to the frigate. I have been touring the frigate and seeing how it was running, which it wouldn't be running if it was on the ground.

OOC: And why would you guys be painting it by hand anways? This frigate is 300 meters long! Just imagine how long that would take for a few people to paint by hand. It would literarlly take like a month.

OOC: I have an idea. How about you wake up suddenly, after falling asleep in the mess hall, and realize you were dreaming. And the posts the others made was part of your dream. Then go up to space and supervise the painting of the frigate, though with the engineers doing it with machines so it isn't impossible to get it done in a few hours. It is plausable at least. Otherwise we can act like you and the others who followed your lead were are high on PCP and were hallucinating the whole thing and ended up painting your fighter, thinking it was the frigate. lol

Soontir walked back up to the bridge and sat in the Captains seat since the ship hasn't been given a Captain yet.

"Hmmmmm, I could get used to this."

And Soontir stayed there looking out the forward viewpoint at Mon Calamari and hoping he wouldn't see this beautiful world destroyed.

In a small meeting room on Mon Cal, three beings entered where Jaina and Leet were waiting. One was an older human in a New Republic Naval uniform, the other two were Bothans.

The older Bothan began the meeting "Col., Major we are pleased to see you. This is Captain Aldan, your ships Captain. On my other side is your NRI laison Karth Ba'len."

Leet knew of Captain Aldan's reputation, during the Rebellion he was one of the best frigate commanders the Rebels had. He was a legend at convoy raiding. Leet hoped he had lost nothing with age.

The leader continued "You already know the broad outlines of your mission - find this dark Jedi, and either capture or terminate."

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir looked out now and saw some ships rising up, maintenance ships it looked like.

"I think I know who that must be."

Soontir walked over to the Comm station

"Lieutenant Commander is that you with those ships coming up to paint the frigate?"

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir watched the ships begin there work, glad Egrog finally got them up here and was supervising the paint scheme from his X-Wing out there.

"Time to check on those Ties, hopefully the paint scheme on my Defender will be done and the shield retrofitting will have begun."

OOC: ya know, i should really pay more attention to whats gin on, its just that you guys POST SO DAMN MUCH!

IC: "wakin' up sleepy head?" trel said as he patted the groggy Egrog on the back. "You were sayin' some wierd stuff while you were out."

Alys was heading towards her X-Wing when she saw C7.

"C7 where's your master?" she asked.

The Bothan continued: "We believe this Jedi was formed or was hiding on Duros. Its ship was tracked to Ithor. Either place would be good to start. I will now leave you all to discuss your plans. You should be ready to leave in two Mon Cal days." With that he nodded and left.

OOC: I have it to where you are already up there supervising it Kaputski.

Jaina looked at Leet. " We have two days to gets things the way we want them. Where should we start first?" she says. " I say we look at Ithor, first. That is where the ship was tracked at."

OOC: i'll get there, it's not like it's a huge fiasco like the last one, no biggie

[Soontir Solo]

Soontir found that his Tie Defender was done, and could honestly say looked perfect for something a pirate would pilot

"Well sir its black with a variety of disturbing images on there. I have skulls, Vong warriors in agony, some with limbs cut off, I have some depictions off fire, depictions of destruction, and overall a fighter Darth Vader would love to be flying. It should definitely get the Vongs attention and let them know you are a pirate. I'll go ahead and join the other engineers in working on shields for the Ties now with your permission sir." said the Sergeant.

"Go to it and good job, very fast and very good. I think I will go take it out now and get the feel for it."

And Soontir hopped into the Tie Defender, sent a message to the bridge telling them to inform him when the Commanders return and headed into space with his bran new pirate paint job.

Leet turned to Captain Aldan, "Sir, your reputation preceeds you. Shall we visit the ship? Captain Solo and I were going to discuss different gimmicks we could use, such as adding torpedos and blisters."

Aldan asked "Solo, the Chiss officer?" Leet nodded. Aldan continued "The first time they brought me out of retirement was to help fight Thrawn. I've been curious about them since." The young Bothan sat nervously watching.

As a group they exited and made their way up to the Neb-B, As they entered the bridge Leet said "Attention! Captain on the Bridge!"

[Kapit]

*egrog and trel fire up their x-wings and head into space. they were almost to the cruiser when a ship painted in skulls and other various things flew past* what in the blazes!? was that soontir?!

*opens com* soontir, is that you? and if it is, you allowed someone to do that to your fighter?

"Yes indeed Lt. Commander. I think it looks quite like a fighter of a pirate don't you?............Major Leet, Colonel Jade, and the new Captain are on the ship now. I am heading in, you might want to as well sir."

Soontir blasted and headed back into the ship. He got out and walked to the bridge seeing the entire bridge at attention. He went to attention himself.

*egrog and trel head to the docking bay. egrog looks at soontirs fighter* not bad, not bad at all, i like it even....anwyays, i think we should head to the bridge....

Squeak, sat oddly patient outside Leto's X-Wing as his Master fininshed stripping out some of his personal additions.

"Squeak, hand me the Hydro Spanner," Leto called, still head first in the main access panel.

'A TIE fighter, I've never flown a TIE before,' thought Leto as he worked, 'Freighters, X-Wings, even piloted swoops, but never touched the Imperial Death balls before.'

Over the com he reviewed Col. Jade's breifing, he would have liike to be there, but he really wanted to have the experimental shields up and running. Sorcha had gotten the designs from a contact of his in the Imperial Remnant, word is they were the latest thing.

"Captain a pleasure. As I am sure you know we have multiple Tie Fighters and Interceptors being retrofitted with shields. I have supervised the engineers to make sure this will be done in about 12 hours now. We also have a few Tie Defenders, one of which I have already had designed into a Pirate looking ship for myself. After the shields are in place all the of the Ties will be given a new design scheme to make them look as if they are piloted by pirates. I have looked over the Frigate for the past few hours and the hyperdrives are in place and seem to be in good working order, though I would recommend a test jump before the mission begins. 12 Turbolaser batteries and 12 Ion cannons are now in place giving this frigate at least some protection sir. And just for clarification purposes who exactly is in command of the mission? I know Captain Alden is in command of the frigate and Colonel Jade is the ranking fighter commander but who is in overall charge? And what shall we name the Frigate? I was thinking something along the lines of "Blood Seeker." That is all that I have to report at this time. I am sure some of the others here have some to say concerning the other fighters we have, the paint job being done to the Frigate itself, etc."

"How about Scarhead Bane?" Trel snickered a little bit, but he really would like to be on a ship with that kind of name.

"I think Scarhead Bane could draw attention to us that we don't want, attention that could lead the Vong to seek us out rather than us seeking the Dark Jedi out. Attention that would encourage the Vong to find out whatever information about us possible, which would lead them to find out who we really are."

"Yeah," trel admitted, "you're prolly right. But its still a kick-ass name."

"General Lowbacca is technically in charge, but since he is out of action, Col. Jade is. With input from Agent Ba'len, of course." Leet said nodding at the Bothan. "Captain Aldan is in charge of the ship, and will be giving his experience in helping us act like convey attacking pirates."

"Thank you for clarifying that Major."

Jaina nods her head at Soontir. " Good work with the TIE fighters." she says to him.

"Captain Solo, Captain Aldan and I were discussing ideas for upgrading our firepower and being able to give the Vong some surprises. We would be interested in any ideas you have." Major Leet responded.

[Soontir Solo]

"The one thing that would be useful is to have maybe some proton torpedo launchers installed, perhaps 6 starboard and 6 on the port side. I don't think we should add too much more than that though. This ship wasn't designed to hold too much weaponry and trying to force it too could cause some major maintenance and energy problems. One thing that I was thinking of though is a gravity well mine. The Hapans use these in place of Interdictor Cruisers. You set a mine in a place where you want to stop a ship that is in hyperspace and it will, and the ship will be disoriented for a few critical seconds. Having some of these available could be beneficial. It would give us more options for a variety of operations adn give this frigate the advantage of surprise if the need comes up to have a raid."

"We do need to be careful adding all this stuff with energy supply, like you said captain. That's alotta stuff to ask of this Nebulon-B."

[Soontir Solo]

"Some proton torpedo launchers should be ok, this ship was designed to hold concussion missile launchers, I believe about 6 of them. And we won't need any energy to have the gravity well mines, just a place to store them and have droids available to release them where we want them."

Jade looked at everyone. " Dismissed for now, we will all have a breifing in the morning and see where we are then. Soontir, make sure the shuttle will be ready for the first jump as soon as it can be done. Captian Alden will be there shortly as soon as we are through finishing up our disussion. " she says.

*egrog was uncharateristically quiet during the meeting. he couldn't help but feel something was wrong*

jaina looked at the Captain and Leet. " Informif anything happens. I am going to try to get some rest. As you should to, after you get things going on that shuttle. Leet, I want you to show Captian Alden to the shuttle and see how things are going. See, you in the morning." she says as she tuened and left to her quarters.

*egrog catches up to jaina as she walks out* hi

Jaina looked up and smiled. " Hey! What are you doing? SOunds like this is going to be fun, a little." she says smiling not sure what to think of all of this.

*egrog for once isn't smiling* i don't know....ever since the meeting started i've gotten this feeling of......dread, i guess, like something's going to happen or something

she noticed that there was no smile on his face. " Come on, lets walk." she says. " I don't know what will happen out there but I don't know if will be bad or dread as you say it. What is on your mind?" she says couriously.

*egrog shakes his head* i really don't even know, just a feeling of something bad...there's really no specific thought *he frowns more, confused*

She looked at him. " I cannot predict what is going to happen but I do know one thing about everyone here. They are strong enough to make it this far and will contiue to do so. This Dark Jedi has everyone tense and focused on it and we are all about to be undercover as pirates to look for this Jedi. I would say everyone is thinking about something and we get the job done." she says softly.

[Kapit]

*he let's out a long sigh as he tries to focus* i don't know, i just can't shake this feeling that something will happen, as much as i want to....i just don't know......

[jadeskywalker]

jaina looked at him closely. " Well, maybe it isn't time for you to know? Lets get something to eat. Maybe that might you some. I will go with you to." she says.

[Kapit]

are you sure? i thought you wanted to sleep.....i can go by myself, it's no big deal...

" I don't mind, I need to eat to." she says.

*he puts his arm around jaina's waist as they walk down the hall, and egrog looks around, unsure of what to say, but smiling again....*

" You want to know somethin, too? I have that same feeling, too. I have had it since we have arrived here." Jaina says as they walked to the mess hall.

*egrog looks genuinely surprised* really. wow, i thought i was the only one, everyone seemed so upbeat and happy.....can you explain it?

" I can't explain it myself but it is there. I don't know about the others but I have had that feeling since arriving.Why do you think I had Soontir watch the peperations to the shuttle? I know he will make sure it goes the way it is suppose to."

"So," Trel said to Reli in the door of her new quarters aboard this Nebulon-B, "what do you think of the new ride?"
"Ugh, I don't like it," she complained. "The rooms are smaller, the mess messier, and everything is just off and...ugh, i dont know."
"Hey," Trel realized she was deffinetly in a bad funk so he embraced her, "Its ok. Lets go get some food or something from the messy mess."
She smiled up at him. "Sounds good." She put her arm around his waist and they made their way around the "new" ship to the mess.

*he slowly nods his head, not sure of what he can say. they reach the mess hall and walk inside to see no one there* well, that's pleasant

" Come on Lt. Commander, let get something and try to eat."

[Kapit]

*egrog looks at her, a slight smile* well, lt. colonel your worshipfulness, sounds like a plan *he says, smiling more

Jaina smiles back at him , happy to him smile, right now.

*they grab some food and sit down to begin eating when......*

"Hey, lovebirds," Trel called as they entered the mess. "Save us a couple seats."

Jaina looked at them. " Saved."

*egrog leans over, staring curiously at the chair*

Trel and Reli went through the line quickly, getting some manner of nerft steak and a bowl of funny colored soup from some exotic outer rime world. They sat down next to jaina and egrog. "Hows the food? Looks kinda wierd."

Trel raised an eyebrow towards Egrog. "Something wierd about the chair too, buddy?"

[Kapit]

*looking up at trel with a confused look on his face, egrog points and says* there's no "save" button, i can't save these seats for you without a save button

*egrog keeps his face perfectly still, looking like he's talking in all seriousness*

Jaina chuckled at them.

"Wow. Sometime even you amaze me," Trel said as he matched the straight face. Reli was cracking up next to him.

*egrog couldn't take it any longer and broke into a huge grin, and finally began laughing until his sides hurt*

Jaina looked at Reli and smiled. " how are you two doing?" jaina asks them. She hasn't seen most of them most od the day.

Trel immediatly matched his friends laughter and put an arm around his shoulder as they sat. "We've been ok," he said stifling the laugh. "I guess getting used to a new ship is a bit wierd."
"Yeah," Reli chimed in annoyedly. "A bit."

Jaina smiles at them. " yeah, they are going to take some getting use to."

[Kapit]

*egrog nods his head* yeah, just a little. those rooms are kinda cramped though, not a lot of room for anything, i have no idea how in the world george will stay sane in trel's room....

"TREL's ROOM? He's your little pet!"

Jaina smiles at Egrog. " I am sure Grorge will manage with or Trel, somehow."

"he likes me more? what are you talking about! He is always attempting to eat my hair off my legs and head whenever he can get there!"

*egrog starts laughing again, this time with food in his mouth. he laughs so hard he falls backward onto the floor and laughs even harder*

Trel couldn't help but chuckle a bit. "Jaina, is he gonna choke?" Reli again was cracking up. "I guess this means i win and you keep the ewok."

Jaina shakes her head and smiles. " Fine then, George can stay with me then." she says as she looks at George.

*egrog sits up quickly* george appeared? george! go eat trel's leg, he likes when you try to do that

*george walks over to trel and begins trying to eat his leg. this causes egrog to laugh even more, but only after he swallowed the rest of his food*

"As long as he's not in my hair, litteraly, I'm happy." Trel kicked the ewok aside.
Reli laughed again, but elbowed him in the gut. "What?" he questioned.

*egrog chuckles as he picks the chair up from the floor and resumes eating*

"So, what do you guys think of the food?" trel said as he stirred his soup around curiously. "My steak isn't bad, but im not so sure about this stuff."

*picks up the steak and drops it on the table. it bounces slightly* they sure kept it cheap......

"Well, we are fighting a war, i guess. But, still..."

[Kapit]

*tosses the steak in the air and when it hits the table, it bounces a good half a foot in the air* well, i think i'm done now, don't know about you guys...

Jaina smiles at them

"Yes, i suddenly have lost my appetite. Reli?"
She was staring strangely at a pudding goup that was supposedly a "caserole". "Yeah, let's go explore this thing."

*egrog raises and eyebrow* you two are going to go explore the pudding?

[jadeskywalker]

" You, ok Trel?" she asks.

[DarthSolo]

"I meant," Reli said, "explore the ship. I wouldn't wish anyone to explore this pudding." As she said it George put his nose in it. "Well, there ya go."
"Yeah, jaina, I'm ok," Trel said. "I just don't like my steak having a higher verticle leap than I do."

*egrog smiles and shakes his head at george* good luck cleaning that out tonight, trel, once he gets into it, he's into it and it's incredibly hard to get that crap out....

" Come on George, your going with me!" jaina says to george.

*egrog stands up to and picks up the furball and tosses him over his shoulder* let's get a move on shall we?

Jaina smiled and got up and left the mess hall. She walked beside him watching the ground as she walked.

*george starts squirming in egrogs arms* man george, you are a hyper one tonight! *he sets george down* there ya go

*george begins running away* sithspit, get back here! *egrog takes off after the little ewok until they reach egrog's room* you want to sleep or something, little guy? *opens the door and george runs in and lays down on the floor and promptly falls asleep* well, i guess he was tired.....

Jaina walked up smiling after watching him chase George. " He has had a busy day like we did to." she says looks at George.
