Nice work, blacksaber. Do you have any Star Wars art? You know, since this is a Star Wars board... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

Well, it's hard to suggest something. I don't what you to draw something you have no interest in. Maybe just take on one of your favorite characters. Or maybe something with a mix of human and man-mad features. Like yound Ani's head in his racing goggles and helmet. That way you get a chance to improve on natural and unnatural objects at the same time. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Seriously though, just do what you feel. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/y.gif

Yup, I'm in classical animation (Bachlors of applied arts and animation) and filmmaking.
Traditional styles are intigrated in new tech styles too.
Lots of work, But i love it! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

once again the unpredictable blacksaber has forsaken all advice and gone with what i wanted to draw. Actually i was doing obi wan, but i got so sick of it i was about to throw up, and it turned out really really bad,s o i don't want to embaress myself and insult tark with an awful drawing. oh, before i show you my next: when did your really good art skills kick in tark? i'm a freshman in highschool and it's kinda half half. oh well, ladies and gentlemen, Arwen!

Tarkheki JD

Oh, you wouldn't "insult me" at all!!! Don't be silly! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif

"Good art skills"... well, problem with that is when looking back, you always think you sucked.... but it's not as if there is an age for it, just continueing to draw more and more gets you the practice you need. Taking some extra art courses, pickin' up "how to draw" books are a great idea. (I can supply you with a list of the BEST "how to" books that actually yeach you *skill*, and not to "parrot" images).

I'd say you were right on the ball with this stuff. You use tone and use it well (which is something many people don't do when startin' off), and you have resmblance (I knew it was arwen even before i read your post) so all i'm going to say is: practice your little highny off! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
You are right on track! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
