Headstrong Dispatch
When there has to be absolutely, positively no questions asked.
Headstrong Dispatch, also known as the Head, is an illegal independent shipping service. Its goal is to become the most trusted and efficient illegal shipping service in the galaxy. Transporting wanted criminals? Smuggling spice? We hope we have the talent to meet your needs.
This RPG takes place just after the death of Emperor Palpatine. Please avoid working pre-existing Star Wars stories and characters into this RPG. Most races are fine however, provided they meet the requirements.
----------------------------------------
Your Role
- You can roleplay as customers, enemies or crew members. One user cannot play multiple characters.
- All characters profiles must be posted in the Holo-Hub (http://www.galacticsenate.com/index.php?showtopic=6752).
- Include the date of your Holo-Hub profile entry at the top of your characters first post for quick reference.
- All crewmembers must get approval by existing crew members.
- No force sensitive crewmembers or enemies. Customers or shipments may be force sensitive, but they must not use their force powers to significantly alter the story.
- Most races are accepted.
- Your crew member may excel in certain areas but must not be infallible. He/She must show weakness or inexperience in some areas. Be realistic. This is done to partially to encourage pairing up for missions.
Retirement
- You may choose to retire at any time, but there are obviously opportune times to do so.
- No retired crew member may rejoin the Head. You’ll have to make another character. The reasoning here is that basically in-story the Head is out to be the best, and they won’t achieve that unless they weed out the weak and uncommitted.
- If you retire while on a mission, refusing to complete that mission, you will be classified as a hostile shipment and dealt with appropriately until you are returned to base, where you will be officially relieved of your position.
- Former crew members may become customers but will be regarded according to their standing with the Head. In other words, don’t leave on bad terms if you want to use the service in the future.
Missions
- Missions will be first come first serve. It would be wise to confer with your fellow crew members to avoid personal conflict. The choice is yours though.
- Each mission will be assigned a mission code number.(MCN)
- Post your current location at the top of every post.
- Post your current location and MCN at the top of every mission post.
- If a mission participant neglects to post for an extend amount of time you may assume a certain amount of time has passed or you may mode(defined under battle section) only as much as necessary.
- HQ will always orbit a planet. This is for quick missions that are less dangerous due to their close proximity. It’s also for crewmembers that feel the need to get away from HQ sometimes, while still being close enough to remain on-call.
- Customers or enemies may introduce new planets or use existing Star Wars planets.
Headquarters and Approval
- Crew member approval requests should be sent to the discussion thread or privately to a current crew member. Once you are approved out-of-character you may enter the story and request to join the Head in-character. The IC request is just a story formality and you will almost certainly be hired if you have been approved OOC.
- A member list will be posted by a crew member every time a crew member joins or leaves.
- HQ location will change periodically to orbit a new planet.
Battle
(Some of the following battle guidelines were taken/modified from one of Vortex’s posts in The Arena. His cooperation and consideration is much appreciated.)
- There can be space fights, close combat ground battles and other confrontations. Different people play differently. You might not even have to fight if you play your cards right, and maybe pair up with the right person(s). Although sometimes there may be no choice but to fight.
- Mode: To mode is "to control another character without permission" Obviously some moding is required in certain situations. For instance, if you've been caught in a bear hug, and you self destruct, posting that the person holding you is caught in the explosion is acceptable. However, describing the damage done to them is not. Like I said before, simple things like punches and kicks to insignificant areas are allowed to be moded. Also, you cannot assume others react, or how they react, to your words or actions. Example. Jimmy writes: "David felt the awesome mind power of Jimmy and was speechless." That is a type of mode.
- Death: If and when you are done excessive amounts of damage, you should post that you die, collapse, surrender, your ship explodes or loses all functionality, etc. If you obviously are done far too much damage to still be alive, it's called "God moding" i.e. acting as though you are god-like.
- Damage: Damage is determined by the victim. However, that does NOT allow you to ignore actions that would hurt you. No character is invincible. If you get shot, caught in an explosion, or fall some horrendous distance, post damage. At the very least it should affect your characters movement. Ships will obviously take damage so you must be realistic about the results and decide how your character should handle the situation, i.e. loss of power, shields or fuel; crash or emergency landing, etc.
Combat Simulator
- HQ contains an area to improve your combat skills. It is a large empty room that can be filled with holograms and physical objects. Safe training weapons are installed in the walls and training droids can be called in as well.
- You can program a scenario yourself from outside at the control panel or you can have another crew member control what goes on, forcing you to react to their programming.
- You can't suffer permanent damage from the training

[Parn Hovrin – Holo-Hub (http://www.galacticsenate.com/index.php?showtopic=6752&st=0&#entry404039) entry March 22]
[Headstrong Dispatch Headquarters]
Parn Hovrin leaned back in his soft ewokskin chair, hands clasped loosely together. His lids lowered slightly over his deep blue eyes. He was waiting for his crew. A crew that was yet to be hired. He had spread word of his plans to a number of confidants who in turn spread the word to theirs. Hopefuls would soon line up to prove they have what it takes to be the best.
Headquarters was a small, mobile spacestation currently in orbit around the desert planet Tatooine. Parn had worked out a deal with several influential individuals on the planet that would let him conduct his business in orbit as long as it did not attract unwanted attention to them. They would not protect the station, they would simply tolerate its residence.
The station, nicknamed Infinite, was quite simplistic in exterior appearance. It resembled a large slab or brick, made of black metal. It was seemingly harmless to any who witnessed it, yet there was much taking place inside. The station was sectioned off to include personal crew quarters, a mess hall, a briefing room, a storage facility, two docking bays and several rooms that could be modified for miscellaneous uses. The docking bays were located at opposite ends of the station, connected to each other and other parts of the ship by a system of transport cars.
Parn was half asleep now, but he knew he would be awaken by the his radar when a visitor was upon him. Additionally, the docking bays would not open without his authorization so every visitor must make a request to board. Parn’s lips curled upward slightly. He was dreaming about his dream.

[Small freighter outside Headstrong Dispatch Headquarters]
Korzin checked his scanners again. The Headstrong Dispatch station, Infinite, floated in orbit around Tatooine. It somehow looked dead, barron, but Korzin new better than to trust his eyes. Checking his indicator board, Korzin realized that he was still out of communications range.
Making a few more control thrusts to get his angle right, Korzin also looked around for any other incoming ships. If what he heard about Headstrong was true, there would be other smugglers coming in for some work. Headstrong was a damn good shipping service with some pretty good pay, which was more than what could be said about some others Korzin had worked for.
He had thought about going freelancer for a while, but apparently his name wasn't as popular as he wanted it to be. But, there was nothing wrong with working for someone, anyways. Especially of the credits came your way.
A beep from his control board sent Korzin out of his daze. He was in communications range now. Picking up his comlink, Korzin took a deep breath. Here's to a universe of riches.
"Headstrong Dispatch, come in," he spoke. "This is the Deviant 7, ship ID code 0271. Requesting docking clearance."

[Headstrong Dispatch Headquarters]
Captain Hovrin was awakened from his slumber to a request signal, a light chirping sound, from an incoming ship. He looked at his radar and only then did it sound, warning him of the approaching ship.
The captain mumbled to himself. "Looks like I've got some tweaking to do on this radar. It should have picked up that ship minutes ago. Oh well, onto business." Hovrin returned his attention to the request line and punched the flashing button.
"Headstrong Dispatch, come in. This is the Deviant 7, ship ID code 0271. Requesting docking clearance."
The ships code checked out, and the Deviant 7 was on the captain's list of possible recruits. "It's good to know I still have friends I can trust..."
Hovrin pressed the respond switch. "Welcome. You are clear to land. Our guards will meet you in Docking Bay Alpha." With another flip of a switch, the docking bay doors separated and the guards arrived at their posts to greet the visitor.

"Welcome. You are clear to land. Our guards will meet you in Docking Bay Alpha."
"Roger that," Korzin replied, keying for the landing sequence. He quickly checked his indicators to make sure he was on the right vector. He didn't want to repeat the incident at Artus Prime a year ago. Even thought he had gotten better at piloting since then, it always stuck in his mind.
The small freighter Deviant 7 slowly made its way to Docking Bay Alpha, the doors opening just as slowly. Within a few minutes, Korzin set the ship down in the bay and secured the landing gear. He got up, hoping for the best to happen.
Three guards of muscular nature met him halfway down the landing ramp. "Hello," Korzin greeted. One of the guards glared at him, the other two kept silent. Gulping uneasily, Korzin continued his way down and let the cool air of the landing bay refresh his senses. Weeks of traveling usually made the air in small freighters such as the Deviant 7 stale to say the least. He was just glad to be out of the piece of junk. Maybe he could sell it for a little extra credits some day...
Korzin looked back to the guards, who were following him silently while he was looking around the bay. "Where should I be going?" he inquired.
"Just wait," one of the guards replied.
And that's just what Korzin did.

[HQ - Docking Bay Alpha]
Captain Hovrin stepped off the transport car and headed toward the docked ship. His guards had met the pilot, a male human name Korzin according to Hovrin's sources. Hovrin was anxious to meet with him, and to test him.
"Greetings! Korzin is it? I've heard good things about you, and bad things. I'm not sure what to believe though. You're probably thinking the same of me. But I'm partly to blame for that." Hovrin chuckled. "I'm probably confusing you though. Let me explain..."
The captain proceeded to introduce himself and his plans to Korzin. He explained that Korzin was the first potential recruit to arrive at the Head but was contacted because of his exceptional skills. He was to be the first in the most certainly spectacular history of Headstrong Dispatch, if he so chose.
"So, you have an important choice to make. This could be the start of a wonderful future for you. I apologize for misleading about the Head's status but I felt it was necessary. Surely you can understand my situation. I hire the best, and make them better. And I'm sure you wouldn't have made the trek out here if you weren't serious about adding something more to your life."
Hovrin waited calmly for the man's response.

"Wha-" Korzin took a step forward. "What?! You mean to tell me that this place isn't what I've heard? Why you son of a nerf-" Korzin tried to take another step forward, but the guards made sure that step was thwarted.
Korzin stepped back, his sudden courage disappearing. Slowly, he sighed.
So much for a universe of riches.
Throwing an acid glance at the guards, Korzin forced himself to calm down. He might as well make the best of the long trip. "So... this place is looking for recruits, huh? What exactly do I have to do to get recruited?"
His memory recalling the words "I hire the best, and make them better", Korzin wondered distantly what the old guy meant by those words...

Hovrin walked with Korzin towards the transport, fairly certain that the man would be staying at the Head for an extended period of time.
"Korzin." Hovrin spoke softly. The captain looked more serious than he had been since meeting Korzin. "You are as good as in. I think that you can trust I will make you into something better. My friends gave you the message of this place, and whether or not it is what you expected is irrelevant. What's important is that it pulled you in, as it will many other exceptional individuals."
After stepping onto the transport car, Hovrin swiped a keycard through a small scanner next to the entrance and entered a number code on the keypad. The car then smoothly but quickly accelerated deeper into the belly of the Infinite.
"You will have a home here, Korzin. You will have protection and peers. You will have a purpose as well."
Captain Hovrin paused for a moment as he seemed to direct his attention to something unseen. His eyes seemed to glaze over as if he was in deep contemplation. He quickly shook himself back to the present with a few blinks and returned to the situation at hand.
"Will you accept your future at Headstrong Dispatch?"

[Headstrong Headquarters, Inside the Infinite]
Maybe I actually do have a good name somewhere out there, Korzin thought quietly as Hovrin paused. The man seemed to think a while and then came to.
"Will you accept your future at Headstrong Dispatch?" he inquired.
Korzin thought a minute. He wasn't one to make a commitment like what Hovrin was suggesting. Especially one that he might not be able to get out of if he wanted to. However, looking back on what he came from, namely, low pay cargo shipping, Korzin thought this Headstrong gig may be something serious to consider. Besides, if what Hovrin said was true, some other skilled people would be hired as well. IF everything went okay.
It was a decision that had to be made. Go back to a boring, low paying job that takes you nowhere... or take a chance that this Headstrong deal was as good as the old guy thought it would be and be able to go all around the galaxy...
"Sure," Korzin replied. "I'm in."
Hmmm... perhaps a universe of riches would come along after all. Sometime in the future...

"Splendid."
The transport car slowed to a stop and the door hissed open. There was a very short corridor that let another similar door with the familiar scanner off to the side. Hovrin led his new recruit to the door, keyed and numbered the door open, and then led Korzin into a well-lit office.
[Captain Hovrin's quarters]
There was very little decoration to be seen. A clean and wide desk stood centered at the far end of the room. It was as black as the floors and the walls. As black as the ewokskin chair that accompanied it. This room was of great contrast to the rest of the ship's interior. Against the wall behind the desk stood a colorfully active data station. A grid of video screens flickered with various images above the console. It was apparent that Hovrin was intent on closely monitoring every aspect of his service.
The two men walked to a locker which stood as tall and wide as Captain Hovrin against the wall to the side of Hovrin's desk. He swiped his card and opened the hinged door.
"You must keep this identification card on you at all times," Hovrin warned, as he pulled a thin card from a locker drawer, closed the locker, and walked to the data station. The ID card reflected hundreds of beautiful colors under the bright lights above. Visible beyond the lightshow was the image of a YT-1300 Freighter. He scanned the card into the computer and entered the appropriate information and clearance codes.
"There we go. You're all set for now." Hovrin handed the card to Korzin. "You have access to most of the ship. Simply swipe your card into a scanner and input the corresponding destination code. You may come and go as you please, even leave the station, but will remain on-call unless otherwise notified.
"Your quarters we be listed when you scan your card. The crewmember quarters are nothing lavish but I doubt you'll be disappointed. Each member has their own bed and bath and adequate storage space."
Captain Hovrin leaned close to Korzin. "Unfortunately, I have a business to protect. You will be monitored at all times while you are on this ship." Sitting down in his favorite chair, Hovrin smiled sincerely at Korzin in order to ease any tension that may have formed from his last comment. "Go now. Enjoy your new life. You will soon be called for a light mission. I hope I have not been misinformed about your reputation, which could very well be the case. But, we shall see."
The captain added one last bit of information before releasing Korzin. "Oh, and your ship... It will be safe in the docking bay for now, but we will discuss its future later." Hovrin smiled again, but this time it did not seem so sincere.

"That's fine," Korzin said, slightly upset over the fact that he may not be able to make a few extra credits off his ship. "I couldn't care less about the piece of junk," he said aloud.
Taking his leave, Korzin got up and walked out of the office, swiping his new card in the reader to open the door. As he walked out and entered the transport car, he took a look at the card again. The beautiful colors sparkled brilliantly.
So, he thought as the transport car took him back to the landing bay. I'll be monitored at all times... great. Finally the transport stopped and Korzin got out. He walked freely through the landing bay, looking over at his ship. As he passed the ship, he heard an alarm from somewhere in the bay.
Apparently, there was another visitor.
Deciding that he'd be more interested in checking out his quarters. He turned around and scanned his card at computer console, looking for where his room might be in the ship.

Shortly after dismissing Korzin, the captain was confronted with another task. The familiar chirp of an incoming message signaled from the data station, followed by the familiar tardiness of the radar's warning beep. Hovrin was pleased with the response his confidants had triggered for him. He was feeling very secure at the moment.
So secure that he didn't feel like leaving his chair. He spun around to the console to check his message.
Headstrong Base this is Echelon VII requestion docking clearance.
"Well," said Hovrin under his breath, "Let's see if we can go 2 for 2."
The Echelon VII checked out on his ship list, but he had no information on the crew. He pushed the respond button.
"Greetings. State your name and party size."
Hovrin's fingers pecked multiple keys on the console, dipatching extra guards to docking bay alpha. No harm in being a little cautious.

Stee Jans scanned the controls and display screen of his Lambda-Class Shuttle carefully. His friend back on Dubrillion had said this was fairly safe bet, as safe as an illegal operation can be, of course. Pulling up an image of the distant space station on the display screen, Jans studied it carefully. If he had to make a run for it, he'd like to know what to expect in the way of resistance. You can never be too sure with things, especially not something like this... Satisfied, Jans clears the screen with the touch of a button, and the small pinpricks that are the Infinite and a docking ship come back into view. Scratching his cheek, Jans pushes the Comm button.
"This is Stee Jans aboard Black Moclips, requesting permission for docking clearance. Do you have a specific approach vector for me to follow or do I just float on in?"
Sitting back in his chair and holding his chin, eyes narrowed, Jans waits for the responce. This should be interesting, to say the least.

"Blast it!" exclaimed Hovrin, sounding much more frustrated than he felt, "If I don't fix this radar soon I might see an untimely end for the Head."
Checking the message, neither the ship nor passenger was listed in Hovrin's database, yet the name did sound familiar. Many things sounded familiar to the captain though, ever since...
Regardless, Hovrin decided to receive the ship. "You are clear to land in docking bay alpha. It's rather large and you should have no problem. My guards and I will meet you there."
Captain Hovrin then sent a message to the guard station telling them to cancel Stru's escort to Hovrin's quarters. The captain would be meeting both arrivals personally in the docking bay. As he stood up to leave, he pushed a maintenence call button and requested his radar be fixed while he was away.
Hovrin exited his quarters, entered the transport car and was whisked away to docking bay alpha.

Stee Jans nods to himself and looks back down at his control. Cracking his neck, he grips the controls and pushes up the accelerator. When the mote of a space station has doubled in size, Jans realizes he is pumping his leg up and down jitterously. Calming himself, he begins to let his mind wander again. He was nervous, slightly. He hadn't felt like this since... Jans' eyes cloud and his thoughts become murky.
He is being carried, no, pulled through a dank, dark corridor. Two men are roughly tugging him along by his arms. They feel like they should have fallen off. He can't make out the species of his captors. They stop, and Jans is faintly aware of one of the men putting a code into a security lock. The door opens, and Jans rasises his head to look in. He sees his wingmate, strapped to a chair, his back arced with pain. He is screaming. A torture droid hovers above him. Jans' vision goes red, he sees other friends, they're being... being... being...
Jans snaps his head up and shakes it vigorously. Proximity warnings are beeping, and the Infinite's hull looms in the display screen. Eyes wide with surprise, he jams the thrusters all the way back, halting his ship mere meters from certain destruction. Switching to reverse, Jans slowly eases Black Moclips away from the hulking behemoth before him and sighs heavily with relief. It is only then that he realizes he is shaking, his skin is covered in a cold layer of sweat, but not from his near mishap... A transmission crackles over the Comm.
Black Moclips, what the galaxies is going on in there?
Embarassed somewhat, Jans presses the Comm button. "Sorry about that, I'm a bit tired from my trip, don't know what happened to me. Sorry."
Shocked silence seems to flood the Comm.
Right, well, you should get plenty of rest once aboard the Infinite... You sure that's all that happened? We were hailing you for several minutes.
"No, I'm quite sure. Thank you," Jans is slightly annoyed by the man's insistence, but quickly pushes his emotions from his mind as he enters the docking bay. Defly moving the flight controls, Jans maneuvers Black Moclips around a ship already docked and sets her down near the far wall. Flicking through the lockdown, Jans raises himself from his chair and heads to the exit ramp. Punching a combination into the control pannel, the hatch opens and he steps out.

Hovrin chuckled softly. "And I can't be sure that you're not a Republican, or and Imperial for that matter. I think I have more to lose than you do, my friend. But, I must build this business on a certain amount of trust."
Hovrin traced the top edge of the podium with his fingers. "Alright. I will hire you, and trust that it's not a mistake. However you will obey my rules. You will be monitored at all times while on board the Infinite. You will be judged sternly on your performance regarding your first missions. You will have a chance to prove yourself to me, Mr. Stru. And maybe I will prove myself to you."
The hum of a transport car came within earshot behind Hovrin. One of the many doors that lined the back wall opened and spit out two armed guards. They moved to each side of that opened door and stared blankly ahead.
"So, you've heard my guidelines. They will not change. Do you accept or decline?"

Stee Jans shifts uncomfortably in the nearly empty bay. He eyes the severam armed guards warily. They stare back stonily. The other man had been gone a long while now, almost too long. Jans changes his position again and finally gives in to his apprehension. Walking about uncertainly, he tours about the docking bay, studying the other ships. All the while, he can feel the guards' eyes boring into him. As the minutes continue to toil away, doubt begins to creep into Jans' mind. I wonder if this will be worth it, or if I'll even get out of here alive...
Returning to his ship, Jans strolls up the boarding ramp and into the cockpit. Plopping back down into the waiting chair, he waits.

Reaching deep into his mind, Korzin tried to remember if he had encountered this man before. But, he couldn't remember, so he dismissed it.
"Hey, Hovrin," Korzin said casually. He wanted to give the other guy a strong impression over his character, like he new Hovrin longer and he wasn't some cheap, cargo hauler... "I found my quarters. They're a bit small and uncomfortable, but overall good. I shall enjoy staying here."

"Stee Jans, just came in on Black Moclips. The guards told me to come in here... I'm not getting in the way, am I?" Jans trails off uncertainly and looks at the other man who is standing. Trying to act at least cordial, he nods to him.

Protection, cargo transfer, investigation, whatever. You name it, and I'll do my best to get it done. And I don't mind about any danger. Upon arriving at his quarters, Stee Jans enters, takes in the layout with a glance, and moves to a nearby desk to deposit his weapons and what luggage he brought with him. Minutes later, he hears the sound of feet shuffling hurriedly by his door and the murmer of discreet voices. Creeping to the door, he cracks it open and peers into the hallway. He just barely catches a glimpse of several guards rounding the corner. He mutters to himself, "They're heading back toward the Docking Bay... Must be another arrival. Important at that, to warrant this much attention. Hmm..." Jans quickly turns about and heads for the desk to get his blaster pistol. Reaching the desk, he stops himself.
If you wish to keep your weapons then the guards will escort you to your quarters where they must be stored unless permission is otherwise granted.
Hovrin's words echo in his head and he reluctantly pulls his hand away. Taking a final look at his stacked weapons, he turns to the door but halts again as someone nocks softly on his door. Cautiously, he reaches back and grips his blaster pistol. With weapon in hand, he steps against the wall next to the door. Looking through the spyhole, he sees the Zabrak who had arrived when he left for his quarters. Feeling better but not fully relieved, he sets his gun aside and opens the door.

Captain Parn Hovrin entered the empty briefing room accompanied by two HD guards. The room was roughly three times the size of each shipping member's personal quarters and was mostly blanketed in darkness. Hovrin called out in a crisp, audible voice.
"Lights."
Darkness quickly faded into light. A circular data table sat in the middle of the room at waist level. Further out was a grey cushioned sofa that encircled the table, leaving enough space between for three men to walk abreast. It was separated into two halves, making room for traffic from opposite sides of the briefing room to the exits. Hovrin trotted down a short and shallow incline to the data table and held down a smooth square button that glowed orange when pressed.
"Show planet. Tatooine. Size 3."
Tatooine's yellow holographic image fizzled into view above the table, rotating slowly. A small red brick orbited the planet. It was the Infinite. The last of the crew entered the room and Captain Hovrin started on a trek around the table. The sound of his boot soles meeting the floor added tension to an otherwise silent room. His hands remained clasped behind his back and he stood tall and straight. He was dressed in a dark red tunic, belted at the waste in black, and matching red pants that were tucked into his black boots. He might have been mistaken for an Imperial officer if not for the unusual colors. His hair was exposed for all to see; short, thick bristles as white as snow, standing up and forward atop most of his head, shaved close to the scalp around the sides.
"I have a mission available," he said, staring at the floor a few feet ahead as he walked. His eyes were a light grey with a touch of blue that peered out of a stern but weathered face. "A man using the name Darth Norsk, requires our assistance in tracking someone on Tatooine. I have been assured that you will not be forced to engage in battle. I don't want you to engage in battle either, not unless it is a last resort of defense. I am quite content with our current standing with the planet and if Norsk tarnishes that... I will see that he, and possible others, will pay for it. You represent Headstrong Dispatch, not Headstrong Army. You will conduct yourself in an appropriate manner."
Hovrin's gaze lifted to eye level with the rest of the crew as he stopped and rested a hand on the edge of the data table. "Any man who claims the title of Darth cannot be trusted. Though he assures us no harm, I cannot risk losing all of you." He turned to Korzin Torque. "Private Torque, I'm assigning you this mission along with Private Jans."

Additionally, the ship will carry two spare pistols, four rifles and some security binders.
After punching a few keys on the data table, two small circles flickered on the hologram of the Infinite. It should be a short and relatively uneventful mission but I want you to contact me if you have any problems."

Creali turned and put away his weapons.
*Creali: Yes I will return shortly aterwards to gather my things.
*Pilot: Yes sir.
The shuttle landed softly, the boarding ramp desecended with a slow hiss. Creali stepped of the suttle into the docking bay. It was empty except for two guards awaiting him.
Creali swiftly walked towards them.
*Creali: I am here to meet with Captain Horvin where might I find him?
The guards motioned for Creali to follow. They lead him into a lobby where he was told to wait for Captain Horvin. Creali stood silently and began to dream of his homeworld as he awaited the arrvial of Captain Horvin.

Another guard entered the room. "Captain, you have another visitor. He is waiting in the lobby."
Hovrin wasted no time following the guard back out of the room and onto a transport car, leaving the Tatooine's hologram active behind him.
A few moments later the car halted at the lobby and the metal door sprang open. The captain waited, still, in the transport just long enough to create a sense of prestige about his towering form before stepping into the lobby. His visitor was a short Noghri who looked well traveled, and Hovrin had held his stare from the moment the transport door opened.
"How may I be of service?"
[HQ - Lobby]
Creali spotted Captain Horvin as he walked in he was easy to spot being the only other non-guard in the room. Captain Horvin approached Creali and spoke.
Cpt Horvin: How may I be of service?
Creali faced the Captain and bowed in show of respect.
Creali: I am Creali, I have come to your installation to join you. I have heard good things about you and your buisness. I am willing to do most types of work... legal or not.
Creali bowed again and awaited Captain Horvins response.

Hovrin thought for a moment as he watched the noghri respectfully bow to him.
"Tell me, Creali, what would you do if you were informed that you no longer had the freedom you've enjoyed so far in life? What if I were to say to you that the moment you entered the docking bay your were infected by a virus, like every other crew member I've hired. This virus lies dormant until I command it to do otherwise. You won't be able to make a decision I don't approve of. There is no hope for you."
Hovrin waited a few seconds for the tension to swallow his small listener.
"That's not the case though. None of it is true. You don't know what to believe now, do you? I hope your bewilderment subsides quickly though, and you understand that the most effective approach to rectify such a problem as I gave you would be through your awareness and interaction with the objects and people around you. Your fellow crew members would no doubt be quite valuable in your quest for a solution. That is what will breed the finest results as a member of Headstrong Dispatch. You will no longer be separated from your surroundings. You must let go of any ego you may have if you want to succeed."
Hovrin gave the Creali some more time to grasp the lesson he'd just received. Then, through a faint smile, he broke the silence. "Are you still up for the challenge?"
Creali utterly taken aback by the comments of Captain Horvin tried not to show his dismay.
Creali: I am now more ready for what lies ahead of me than I could have been. If you would let me Captain, and to answer your first question, I would feel trapped, and betrayed for my missplaced trust in you.
Creali stood tall and proud as he faced the Captain waiting for his answer.

Hovrin was right when he had said, "What's important is that it pulled you in, as it will many other exceptional individuals." There were still people coming in and joining Headstrong Dispatch. Jans glances at Korzin and back at the freighter with a grimace. "Think this thing'll survive entry into atmosphere? Almost looks like a deathtrap waiting to happen, if you ask me..." The bustling little port town was beginning to rub Cyrill the wrong way, for the abundant noise proved far too unharmonious for his simple tastes. The irritable din was gnawing away at what little patience he had left, after having waited about for any sort of sign.
Something that denoted his great master, Cheewub. However, there was no such thing. No subtle power play to overtake the local government, causing a ruckus of insurrection and violent deaths, no hidden assasinations of local criminal authorities, and certainly no fanfare announcing his triumphant approach. Such a lack of indicators of his most illustrious benefactor proved discomforting for the stoic imperialist.
His eyes shifted about, attempting to decypher the appropriate course of action. Upon investigation, he happened across a beautious woman of an uncertain special background, and promptly aqquired a wealth of information regarding the local ongoings and orginizations.
The information intrigued him only slightly, however one particular piece of information caught his sensative ears.
"At this spaceport, you can book passage to anywhere in the galaxy, for any reason, if you find the right price... or method of payment," she added with a wink, insinuating something that Cyrill had no intentions of considering. However, he was not without means, and considered booking passage for him and his ship to one of the planets he knew Cheewub was fond of. His own deep space tie fighter was efficient to get a considerable distance away from this desolate desert wasteland, however there would be numerous stops for refuelings, and possible dealings with the Alliance.
The bitter taste of bile found it's way to Cyrill's taste buds. Dealing with such an overwhealming collection of politician and farm-boys turned fighter pilots was more than enough to set his stomach into an uneasy churn.
Yes, hiring a local to take him and his ship to their next destination, out from under the Alliances intrusive eyes, would be the optimum solution.

Cyrill's head suddenly jerked to the direction of the docking bays... he noticed something off in the distance, something he was not too familiar with...
He promptly reached out, snatching a pedestrian within his armored grasp, and hoisted him close. With his other crimson-covered hand, he designated the object of his curiosity.
"You, I wish to know what that bizarr event on the horizon is. You would be wise to tell me,"
The man, shaking in fear, promptly explained, "It's a sand-storm. Fairly common, but extremely dangerous. I wouldn't advice you going anywhere near it, and since it's coming through town, you should get indo-"
With that, Cyrill let the man drop, crumpling on the ground. He promptly scuttered away, leaving Cyrill alone with his thoughs. His visor shielded him quite well from any debris, and his helmet also came with a nifty-
SHFFFFT!
The mouthplate suddenly extended into place, covering up the last remaining exposed area on Cyrill's body. Slowly he began to walk towards the docking bays.
Something was calling to him, guiding him to the center of the storm. Some sort of force-sensative game of cat and mouse... There were whispers in his ear, nay, within even that. The whispers were a calm, soothing, authoritative voice, HIS voice, gently ocercing Cyrill to continue on into the storm...
Sometime later, there came a tapping on the freighter's hatch. In the midst of all this sand, this forceful wind, stood Cyrill. His body was braced, every muscle tensed in an effort not to be toppled by the tremendous waves of sand.... however, it also seemed as though, at least for the moment, the storm was ligthening.
He called out to them, his voice so booming, so loud, so energetic that it could be heared even within the ship! Various loose panels on the outside vibrated, varying their movement from the consistant shake caused by the storm.
"Open your gates, allow me entrance, for The Darkness wills it, and in this you cannot resist, you cannot fail. You MUST open!"
((In case you're wondering, Cyrill tracked them down because of 2 things. 1) Cheewub's been sending long range mental impressions of what Cyrill needs to do, and 2) a Sith well honed can detect another Sith within a certain distance, especially if they have a very unusual energy))

He was a messanger of Cheewub's? Interesting indeed...
Cheewub rarely sent anyone but himself to retrieve his Sith, and never sent anyone after Cyrill... Something was wrong, something that was keeping Cheewub from coming to him.
"Master Cheewub.... is he in danger? Why has he saught me out? What problem could not possibly be solved with powers such as he?" The last question was the one most nagging at the back of his mind.
"And why," he said, pausing his booming speech, "did he send you, of all people? Did he not warn you, I do not take kindly to interlopers on my affairs, even if they intervene in the name of my Master."
His hands hovered about the holsters on his sides, which seemed only to have some sort of lightsaber, but it was altered, that much was noticable...
And one on each side.
The storm was passing now, the others on the ship would be able to come up, if properly prepared, and be in no serious danger.

He stepped up next to Norsk on the opposite side Jans was standing, hand ready for a blaster... of what good it would do against a Sith Lord or a Jedi, he couldn't tell. Probably none.
Surprisingly, Korzin didn't feel any fear or dread, he just felt... careful, as if he were handling a wild animal. Knowing that he shouldn't meet the man's gaze head on, he rather examined the man's apparel. Sure enough, clipped to his belt, was what looked to be a lightsaber.
Yes, this was definitely either a Jedi or Sith Lord. But Norsk had been unclear in who this Cyrill was. Perhaps, Korzin thought to himself. I'll find out by observing his behavior.

Behind the mask, a slight smile crept across his lips. This "Norsk" referred to him as Darth Cheewub, still. The cloud of the dark side has fooled even he.
"I see. My master has sent one of his more novice students to retrieve me. No doubt he anticipated that I would find reason not to send you from this world."
He stood, watching a moment, wondering just how the fellow had taken his force-powered soundwave. His hands lay hovering over his twin weapons, reminiscent of light sabers, ready for any advance.
"Shall we have a little test? Hmm...." He looks up, and then to the shadowy sanctuary underneath the large ship. He was searching for something, his answer...
"No," he said, pausing, "You might not be up to a test yet, and killing you might run against my master's plans. I will go with you, however, it must be that I have access to your communications. I am transporting my own ship via another agency, and I must update them of my situation."
He walked past Norsk, and on to the ship.

Jans got up from the ground, dusted himself off, shook his head in wonderment, and stared after the retreating firgure of Cyrill. Shaking his head a little more, Jans looked to Torque and gestured to the ship with his blaster. "Well, I guess we'd better follow along and make sure he doesn't get lost or something. You know how Sithy people like that are..."

Cyrill, without asking permission, climbs over to where the main radio system is, quite close to where the pilot controls were also situated. He began tapping a few buttons, and before too long, an open connection crackled into hearing range.
"Greetings," he said to the unknown member on the other side. "There has been a slight change of plans. I will not be joining you, but still deliver my cargo, and keep the full fee."
With that, and before the receiver could emit the voice of his other pilot, Cyrill cut it off shortly.

Stee Jans walked into the cockpit just as Cyrill cut off his transmission. "Hey, what do you think you're playing at? What was that transmission you cut off so hurriedly?" Jans pointed his blaster at Cyrril warily, muscles tense, waiting.

Cyrill turned about, slowly, and glared at the man from behind his mask.
"I allready told you, I had to contact the man transporting my ship. Perhaps you were not paying attention earlier..."
He then turned to Narvik and hissed in his direction, "Does the Knight need a squire to protect him? You need not exert yourself to help me any more than is asked of you by myself, or my Master Cheewub. To do otherwise is to insult my honor, which is indeed a dangerous thing."

Jans clapped Torque on the shoulder, bending down to whisper in his ear, "Believe me, that won't have to happen." With a conspiritorial wink at his partner, Jans slipped into the copilot seat and began scanning the control panel for any signs of malfunctions.
"Ah, hold the comm link! We seem to have a clogged ion thruster. Probably from all that sand... Stay here, I'll check it out." Jans exited into the corridor, leaving Korzin to wait.

Cyrill turned to face Korzin, and studied him for a moment.
The man seemed tense, unnerved, obviously due to the... potentially dangerous pair of passangers. Fear was a good driving force to get someone to do a simple task, however the more afraid one was while doing a complicated task, such as setting up the systems in a ship, the more inaccurate he would be... the longer it would take.
"You there," he said, in a tone softer than previously used, less abrasive, "It is good to do your job, and do it well, for a pleased Sith is less likely to take action against you. An unpleased Sith, however, erases any hope you have in your own saftey. You haven't displeased me just yet."
The comment was saying more than perhaps Korzin would realize. As long as nothing strange happened, or no more setbacks affected their departure, Cyrill would pretty much ignore the two pilots.

Jans walked back in, eying Cyrill over his shoulder curiously. "Ok, ion thruster clear. Nothing a nerf-hair bruch coudn't handle. We are prepped and ready for take off." Jans turned in his seat to holler into the back of the ship. "Ok boys, fasten your seatbelts, 'cause we are outta here!"
