Hey Eric, wanted to throw you some comments about your new audio drama. I love Quantum Leap, so I had to personally listen to it.
Here's my comments:
Sound was excellent. Including effects.
Acting pretty decent, although I didn't buy the Al impersonation. Sam...dead on.
I think the story was also excellent but in my opinion was really missing something and that is character interaction. To me, that would have made the story much more interesting. But as it is, I was like..what's the point?
But I can assume the point was to just give a little more definition in the world that is QL. But still, I really had a longing to hear some character interaction.

Keith, thank you for the feed back (And starting this thread),
I love to hear people's thoughts.
Yeah a lot of people were expecting something different than what I have done. Which is one of the main reason I did the story this way I think. A bit of a change even for me. Its more of a soliloquy than interaction.
I see this as more of opening a door to something larger down the road. Mister Logan made several hints about things he knows from Sam's future (The future twisted Sam) that I would like to play off in time to come. I know Aurora from Quantum Realties has something in mind. And I am looking forward to it.
As for future Quantum Leaps....
I've ideas. Which would be more character interaction based.
Devil's Due is a fun way to tell a story.
But could grow very annoying if I kept it up for a long time.
Peace

I really liked it. I liked the show, but never really got into it. I did like what I saw, but then seeing someone do fan audio. Very cool. Would love to see other genre's do these. Kudos to you guys, well executed. Sam is right on. Amazing. Al, not bad. Both men have somewhat plain voices, and those are near impossible to replicate.

I may be way out of line coming to here, (though a fan of Star Wars... am just not an avid fan); however, I did get an email from Eric saying that there was more Quantum Leap: Devil's Due feedback here and came to check it out. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif
Now, a little of this may be just me coming out and being a bit boastful... proud that I am a part of the Quantum Leap team that helped to make some of it possible... *blush*... but it's really inspiring to see that more people want to hear some more of the Quantum Leap Audios that are out there.
If I'm a bit out of line here, then please forgive my "pushing"...
If you'd like to hear some more of the Quantum Leap Audio's they can be found here:

Most of these lovely audios are what we call Vignettes... not an actual leap, per se, but a piece of life... or perspective. In my humble opinion, I think that the best one that gives out emotions, the reason for things... and why it happens... is The Impossible Dream. Gelfling1220 wrote the piece and I think that it was just luck that it came out as well as it did.
Cinemafreak... you are right. It's hard to replicate the voices of the Ex-Rear Admiral Albert Calavicci and Dr. Samuel Beckett... but... I think that Chronocrossed (our Albert Calavicci) does a heck of a job doing his voice... and our Sam? Well Shane Devon is the one that makes this audio somehow just come together. When he's into it... he does sound like Sam... and there are times when he's so spot on... it's scary.
So... if you'd like to hear more... please go and give a listen... just let other people know what you think at the Al's Place Messageboard. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif Here: Al's Place Messageboard (http://www.quantumleap-alsplace.com/messageboard) And please post your response under the Radio Files section.
I honestly think that it's great that you guys gave Devil's Due a listen to... and if I can get my butt in gear, you'll get to hear Eric do some work of his own in the next script to come out, I hope.
Yours truly,
MJ Cogburn
